Equally suited for casual tavern fare or special private dining celebrations. “A must” in the Merrimack Valley.
COBBLESTONES Restaurant is within walking distance of all of Lowell’s attractions and entertainment venues, including The Paul E Tsongas Arena, The Lowell Memorial Auditorium, The Merrimack Repertory Theater, Boardinghouse Park and The National Park Visitors Center.
the service was great, the room was Dark, and had many fruit flies. Will not go back.
Unfortunately my overall experience wasn’t awesome. My craft cocktail I ordered was so strong - I asked them to add tonic to it. It still tasted horrible & my waitress never took it off the bill. My soba noodle bowl was totally bland. My husband got a burger & the truffle fries & the fires were crazy good. Overall Meh...nothing to write home about.
Always enjoy having lunch at Cobblestones - but I think the food is overpriced. Otherwise excellent!
Fantastic food and service
Good atmosphere and good service. I would definitely go back.
Very nice atmosphere... drinks, food and dessert were all very good.
There was a misunderstanding with the waitress about one of the entrees, and not only did they fix the problem, the manager comped the whole table for dessert. It was the first time for all of us at this restaurant, and we all agreed that we are anxious to return.
The service was great! Everyone was very attentive and polite! We were unsure of which wine we wanted and Kelly went back and forth three times until she was sure we were satisfied. Their tuna tartare was amazing. I have tasted several but The tuna from Cobblestones was the best I have ever tasted and their creme brûlée...wish I could eat it everyday. It was perfect. The ambience was nice and quiet inside but you could also sit outside and where it was a bit more livelier.
Overall my experience at cobblestones of Lowell was great andI am definitely going again!
Great appetizers and outdoor seating. Waiter was attentive and took very good care of us.
Great brunch and excellent service. Live music a plus.
Great menu selection and cool space
Great food, excellent service (thank you Ryan). We always have a fantastic experience at Cobblestones.
Love this restaurant. Only suggestion would be to serve rolls while waiting for your meal.
One of our favorites to eat when in Lowell. Very fresh ingredients, creative options and great service lead to a great night out!
The service was decent, but our server left for the evening the in middle of the meal and our new server never really introduced herself (usually there is a hand-off).
Laos the mac and cheese was NOT good... it was basically macaroni in a watery cream sauce, not very cheesy
Drink and the Reuben were very good.
Cobblestones is always perfect - from appetizers through dessert!
Our server was one of the most considerate we have ever had. She went out of her way to make sure everything was fine.
Food was good. We will definitely return.
Wonderful time with friends during folk fest! Food was fantastic!
The food and cocktails are reliably good here. Unfortunately, our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes after taking our food order, so we had to go and fetch someone to check on food and get another round of drinks. There was also some live music in the room at 11am on a Sunday, which made brunch chat a bit harder than usual. Other than that, a solid choice.
Great setting, food and service. Only the parking remains a bit difficult.
The restaurant is attractive and located in a nice spot, convenient to the Lowell Music Festival. However, the food was mediocre and over-priced for the quality. Steak tips were dry, mashed potatoes were cold, salmon risotto was bland.
Our table of 4 was very pleased with drinks, apps, & entrees. We were too stuffed to sample any desserts though, maybe next time. Our server was delightful and attentive. We thought the the meals were a good value, delicious and reasonably priced for quality food. Will certainly dine here again!
Excellent food & service. Pricey but worth it. Had a great time!
Service was attentive with frequent check ins and a smile. Food was not great. Chicken marsala was grey in color and tasted grey. Watermelon and feta salad had tiny, tiny, pieces of feta. Almost no taste at all. Atmosphere good. Pretty setting.
Always a great meal, never a bad experience, and the best hospitality around. Fantastic job as always!
The food was good and our server Kevin was good as well. However, there were a few disappointing things. When I booked the reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary but there was no acknowledgement from the staff. And second, they didn’t have braised short ribs even though it was on the menu.
As usual everything was fantastic. Awesome friendly service, delicious apps and dinner. Cobblestones never disappoints.
Beautiful night so we sat outside. Food, drinks and service were great.
Food was absolutely fantastic!
Tables are too big. I felt like I had to shout to talk to the people across the table from me to be heard. I would prefer smaller tables so that we could have a more intimate conversation.
Thank you so much Eileen! We are proud to offer a range of both small and large tables, some round some banquet style depending on the size of your group and availability. Next time you visit, feel free to discuss options with the manager/ Hope you can visit us again soon - Happy 4th!
One of the best meals I have enjoyed in a long time. Everything about this place was top notch!
Awesome thank you so much Jauna!
Even with a reservation, took 40 min to get seated. Food undercooked, service was bad.
Thank you bird! :)
Wait staff is unbelievably undertrained for a high end restaurant. Bartender unable to make basic cocktails
Thank you again (Anonymous). We truly value feedback from our guests as part of our mission to "get better every day" We appreciate you alerting the manager while you were here and are sorry they were not able to better ameliorate the issues before you left the one star review, which surely hurts the entire team. Again, we apologize we did not meet your expectations and can assure you your feedback was shared and addresses with the team. Please feel free to email me directly at any time S.Plath
We came here for Father’s Day and everything was great. I knocked off one star only because the short rib in the skillet hash and the chicken in the chicken and waffles could’ve definitely used more seasoning. Also this may not be the best place to take children as they don’t have any crayons or things to give the kids. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and it seems like a pretty big place. The presentation of the food was awesome and they had live music. I came here for brunch right when they opened and had an overall good time. The server was very attentive. I would definitely come back but maybe without my kids lol.
Love the ambience and the story of the building. The bar scene was hopping. The menu was robust, and I loved the fresh fish.
The food of two members of the party was average, and the third member said her meal was extraordinary. It took the server one hour to get the food to us despite the restaurant not being super busy. When we received the food it was clear it had been sitting and waiting for quite a few minutes, given the temperature. I’ve never dined here for brunch but have dined at the bar on several occasions. In my previous visits the food and service have been EXCELLENT, so this was surprising.
Outdoor patio was quiet for brunch and nicely done
We had a great round table for our party of 6 making it a wonderful gathering space for my son’s birthday lunch.
Great food. Cozy atmosphere.nice change up from the usual chain restaurant.
