COAST is where fresh British Columbia seafood dazzles in a setting that features a clean, contemporary design with deep turquoise tones, mosaic-tile floors, and lush leather banquettes. This is the definition of a breathtaking Vancouver aesthetic that extends a respectful nod to historic San Francisco, home to the world’s most iconic seafood eateries. The COAST entry welcomes guests through a street-side patio bordered by two custom fireplaces.
Food and service was great just very slow compared to usual.
Great food and excellent suggestions by server. Best meal we had in Vancouver!
I loved the food. The brunch benny was only $11!!! This was an amazing price and the ambient is great and customer service very friendly and nice! Would definitely be back!
Amazing service and food was delicious! This is my first time to Coast. They did not disappoint.
Overall the dinner was great, the only complaint I have is that the mussels we ordered were probably have empty...just shells. We fished around in the broth, thinking maybe some mussels fell out in the cooking process, but nope...
As always the food and service was excellent, many Thanks to Frenchie and his outstanding staff !
was very good and will go again !
Great lunch, as always. Excellent for business dining, pro service, great room, good buzz, delicious food. Fried oysters are soo good. Like everything. Happy Hour is great way to experience on a budget. Sit at the bar if you can.
Everything was excellent. Food, service and a quiet alcove in the restaurant.
Great food and service from Crawford tonight. Visiting relatives from Mexico City, we had the perfect space to enjoy our visit.
Nice dinner with my husband and daughter before going back to the 2020 routine!
Sat at the bar for happy hour and later. Lively and enjoyable—best oysters ever for one dollar each!!
We were served by Rhonda whom we informed about our birthday celebration. We ordered some drinks, some appetizers, the 3-course “West Coast Dinner” with some upgrade from the clam chowder to the lobster bisque.
Rhonda first gave us some soy paper hand rolls of which she said a gift from the kitchen for our birthday celebration. I later saw tables beside us have the same amuse-bouche. Obviously, Rhonda was trying to impress us by faking the amuse-bouche as my bday gift. In my mind, I find it a little unprofessional, but at least she is trying.
The food - The soy paper hand rolls and the appetizers are amazing. Being said that, the 3-course quality is relatively a mess. The clam chowder and the lobster bisque are both not up to the standard. I can only taste the bacon in the clam chowder and it is very salty. The lobster bisque is also quite disappointing. But the worst is the salmon main. How can a seafood restaurant make such a dry grilled salmon? Lesson learn. Don’t ever order their three course.
The service - overall it is not bad as they gave you the standard. Just don’t expect too much. I appreciated that they gave us the table choice I request and one of the servers made an effort to sing the birthday song for our celebration.
One of my favorite restaurants for food and service. This time we were seated by a servery area .... This was not a good experience. When booking ahead my recommendation would be to make sure you check seating options
Appetizers were good and the meal started well. But my main course was cold and I had to ask for it to be reheated which didn’t go well. Tonight after dinner I had “stomach problems “ and spent a long time in the bathroom. This shouldn’t happen at a restaurant where I pay $50 for a steak.
The value for the bennies is great, especially for the upscale restaurant you are in. I would definitely go back, because there are many more things I'd like to try on the menu.
Great time with 3 of us for my daughter’s birthday... nice upstairs table where it’s quieter but you still see all the action.
A great luxury experience
With dear friends ,waiters constantly put the wrong plate in front of customers
The staff were all amazing. It was an incredibly positive experience for my friends’ first meal in Vancouver (Dec 26)
All the way from Perth Australia. We had been looking forward to it for months and it certainly did not disappoint.
The table we sat at was a corner table beside where they hold I guess the water and about 4 people passed us within the first 10 mins we were sitting and no one served us water ... other than that, service was great and food was good
Christmas dinner with team
The food was mediocre, warmish at best. The daily special was way overpriced at $76. The daily special was 50% more than the tenderloin and was the worst cut of meat I ever had.
We will not return to this place.
Appreciation Christmas dinner - very good experience
Great seafood !!!! Great ambiance. Sushi was awesome.
Valet took for ever and the food was really slow
It was my first time there and we had a great experience! One of the managers was so welcoming and we forgot to ask for his name and tell him thanks! The food was delicious.
Will definitely come back. :)
I was lucky enough to visit Vancouver with some workmates last year and visited your restaurant . I usually do not care for seafood. I tried the Sablefish and was wowed. It was in a different stratosphere. I was very excited to bring my husband( who is a seafood enthusiast!!!!) last Saturday.
We were seated at the rail up top. Not only was the food and ambiance fabulous,Geoff, our waiter, was sensational. He guided us wisely thru the choices on the menu ,and did not disappoint. Sensational! We will be back with our whole family sometime soon. Thanks, for a great experience.
Reservation was not ready on time and was going to be “20 min, waiting on others to leave”. After pressing them for other options, they offered another table, but said we had to be in 90 minutes because the table would be needed for another reservation. The waiter pushed us for our orders and seemed to to be rushing us along. We did not get one of the appetizers we ordered. The environment was so loud, our table of 6 could not have an effective discussion and we could only speak to the person next to you. Food was good, but not a great experience.
We were meeting out of town friends for dinner. The appetizers were very tasty - crispy calamari, eel, miso soup was large size. The ahi & soba salad was very good. The Coast cioppino was delicious. Both orders of grilled sockeye were over cooked. The waiter said we could re order it but everyone was eating and it would have taken too long.
Sablefish dish was cold (but was meant to be hot) Everything else was great.
Best service you could ever get the professionalism and the quality of the service was outstanding. Treat you like royalty
A little bit too loud and crammed for fine dining for me but food and service was very good.
The food and the service was amazing as always. Thank you.
Amazing food at Coast! Their services are also impeccable! Seafood tower was amazing and shrimp Louie was delicious
Excellent! Best Calamari in Canana
