Coast Restaurant are delighted to have received their first AA Rosette for 15 years! Enjoy the finest locally sourced ingredients served with simplicity and style, with menus that change with the seasons to reflect the seasonality of the produce we use.

Coast at the Hythe Imperial offers fine dining in an elegant and relaxed setting. Guests can enjoy modern British cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients that reflect the seasons. Dishes are never over-elaborate and always allow the quality of the ingredients to shine through.

Please note that we require a non-refundable deposit of £15pp for tables of 4 and above. For larger tables of over 8 people, please call 01303 267441. If there is a pre booked event in our Coast Restaurant, dinner will be served in our Windsor Lounge.

Staff very welcoming & attentive Menu choice & Food quality very good I chose the rustic breads 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Timbalo of duck & chicken 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I also ordered an item off menu which was catered for without hesitation & presented beautifully🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had asked for a green side salad. I was presented with a delicious green salad of salad leaves, cucumber slices & avocado slices… with a very nice vinegrete dressing served separately 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Value was amazing … & i wouldn't hesitate to eat here again Shame there are no windows & ambient could be lifted a little But all the staff were extremely welcoming & attentive particularly the blond lady who seated & served me (apologies as i cant remember your name) 🙏 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I was there on my own & felt relaxed & at ease throughout

Staff were brilliant and ambiance nice. Well presented and tasty food, but a few hours later my partner wad very ill. We're sure it was the salmon because its the only thing she ate that was different to me.

Had a lovely evening for valentine's day. Clean and lovely atmosphere. Food was perfect everything was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent too food came out quick and perfectly timed. Where checked on and never left wanting for anything. Thank you

The roast was good, the service was slow, had to pay for puddings they could not provide and a 12% service charge. Waiters were polite. Should not have to pay for food they had run out of!
