Coast Ratings and Reviews
Hard to understand the waiter he had an accent and switched our bills up. My black grouper had no flavor it was suppose to have some kind off seasoning but bland. My friend had the salmon and said it was excellent. Great view we even watched a wedding party by the pool.
This was a present surprise! A Monday night dinner with visiting family. One question we all had was where was everyone else?
The server was friendly and efficient, the food was creative, served well and very tasty and the ambience, while subbed by the lack of other dinners, certainly had potential.
We will definitely give this sleek place another try.
We often stay at this Hotel and eat at this wonderful restaurant. The burrata caprese salad is the best appetizer!! I also had breakfast there and the chef gave me the recipe for Grand Marnier Sauce!! soooooo good! i already made it at home and it was delicious!
The Coast Restaurant is a hidden gem inside the Edgewater Beach Hotel.
I dined there for a pre-surgery dinner. The grouper dinner was spectacular and pre-empted by homemade hot bread with oil and butter . Our service was fabulous and our scenic view of the sunset an added bonus!
One week later I returned post-op to dine again.
The dinner was equally as delicious as the week before. We were celebrating my 4 yr old granddaughter's Birthday and the server brought out a huge beautiful cake and ice cream dessert complete with syrup , cherries and sprinkles and even sang to her !
Coast is my new favorite restaurant for an all around great dining experience .
Group allowed to bring in pizzas, pull tables together and basically take over the restaurant. Many people left - we should have. Staff was notified and took no action. Unbelievably expensive restaurant for children to run around and bring in carry out food. I will never return and have told others as well.
Coast served a lovely Father's Day lunch. Did not realize that it was so much "in the hotel"; assumed their would be a number other non-guest diners. Still the staff was very welcoming, the pool view was nice, but assumed from the photos online that dining would be more gulf side versus pool side. Gazpacho was super tasty. My dad had a grouper sandwich, big bulky bun, tomatos etc also very tasty, but with only one beer and a side salad the $75 including tip was a little steep for the exepetience. The best part about the place is its old school, old Naples charm; very private, retro feeling.
We made a breakfast reservation on Mother's Day and when we got there they said they didn't have the reservation from OpenTable. Then they told us that breakfast stopped at 10am and we would have to do a $69 per person buffet. We left and had to find someplace else to eat. Very bad experience
Staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The chef even came out and helped us get a chair and umbrella on the beach which was much appreciated!! The view is really beautiful. The turkey club is a big sandwich and the coffee is quite good. I loved my experience here I really did!! Thanks for everything we will be back.
We love Coast. Generally wonderful food, always relaxed & fun staff & a gorgeous view of pool & gulf!
This time I ordered salmon for my salad. The salad was delicious but the salmon was over cooked, whitish in color & tasteless. I assume it was a one time occurrence 😀
Our waiter was fantastic, very accommodating to our group of 8 seniors.
We enjoyed our mini reunion with long time friends of 60+ years
Ambiance was wonderful and we were able to all enjoy conversation with each other.
Our food for most of the group was great...those with steaks were just ok.
Overall, everyone enjoyed the Coast Resturant
This was a very disappointing visit. My husband and I thought we would try something different for breakfast and went to Coast, thinking it would be a nice, outdoor dining experience. It wasn't. We were told the only table outside overlooking the pool and Gulf was for six and we could not sit there. Less than five minutes later, a husband and wife came in and were seated there, by themselves. The croissant french toast was mediocre, with some pieces having a paper-like consistency. About half the tables were empty, but we were told they ran out of coffee carafes. We got one toward the very end of our meal. For what we paid (and we know hotel food is expensive), definitely not worth it. We tried it once but have scratched Coast off our list for the future.
Coast restaurants food is delicious. The setting is lovely as you can watch the sunset each night from your dining table. However, our server, Christof, was a complete disappointment. It took him 10 to 15 minutes to create us and offer us a drink. It took him several more minutes to come back with drinks and water. When our entrées finally arrived, one of our members at the table didn't have an entrée so it took another 15 minutes for their food. He never checked back with us to see if everything was OK. We were never offered any dessert, coffee or additional drinks, water, bread or even the check. We had to request the check from the bartender. Then he demanded that we write the tip on the check before we gave him the credit card. However he didn't give us a pen to write in a tip amount. Extremely poor service. Even though the food was delicious, the service left a very bad taste in our mouth's. We would not suggest this location for dinner. And we will not be back.
Beautiful ambiance, gorgeous sunset and view of gulf. Service was friendly, attentive and good until after main course. we had wanted desert but took so long to get dinner plates cleared and find server, we decided just to get check. That also took awhile. Food was very good, nicely presented, fresh ingredients, fairly priced. Nice wine list. Comfortable seating. Menu had adequate variety although not that creative. All in all a nice evening. Would definitely return.
