    Food was excellent. Portions were huge so we split an entree and still had plenty of food to eat. Waitress was friendly and courteous. Very prompt with service. Great experience.

    The service and views at our porch table were amazing. Because it is located nearby the main pool, it is a bit noisy but not to the point where you couldn’t hear each other speak. We had high hopes for the food when reading the menu and were quite disappointed. We started with the calamari and fried green tomatoes; the calamari was over cooked and incredibly over-salted. The breading was very heavy so you could not taste the actual calamari - only salt and grease. The fried green tomatoes were placed on top of pimento cheese. The tomatoes themselves were delicious but the cheese had a very peculiar aftertaste that no one at the table enjoyed. For dinner, we got the salmon, paperdelle and filet mignon. The salmon was very over cooked and extremely bland. The paperdelle was dry and had very little flavor. The filet was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. For our after dinner treat, we got the cheesecake and mango sorbet. The cheesecake was ok but the sorbet was horrible. It was mealy and so rich and sweet none of us could get past the first bite. We plan to try this place for lunch to see if they do better at that menu.

    The food was delicious. Shrimp and grits and grilled fresh catch were prepared just right. The service was professional and our server, Kayla, really took an interest in us. The patio provides a great view of the ocean, pool and the children playing on putting green.

    I realize many restaurants have staffing challenges. Maybe that was the problem. The servers were very pleasant but seemed to be too busy with other duties/tables. Three of us ordered fish (Wahoo special, and salmon). The fish was overcooked and the plates were lukewarm. We rarely complain but we did pass on our comments on both the food and service. To the Coast's credit, they did 'comp' our bill. So, maybe we go there again someday. Ill watch for other reviews. Sorry guys... Good luck getting back to your normal standards.

    Food and service was great. Prices are extremely high. And it is very loud with tables close together and lots of families There are better values. We ate there so we could validate parking for an event

    This is a Great Place to eat. I recommend you set outside and enjoy the view of the ocean. Server was Fantastic and Food Prepared Perfectly. Couldn’t have ask for a better dining experience.

    Sadly disappointed with this experience. Not worth over $200. Waiter seemed rushed. I had to remind him that I ordered shrimp on my salad and had to wait for it. (It was good!) My calimari was too salty to eat, so I sent it back. (They did remove it from the bill.)And I LOVE fried calimari. Spouse's scallops were good, though smaller than those he has ordered other places.They did send out a nice birthday treat for spouse's birthday, and many staff acknowledged his birthday. There were at least 3 staff buzzing around at the beginning, bringing menus, water, rolls, etc. Then only the poor, rushed waiter. We felt pushed to hurry up and order, then left to flag someone down about the problems. Not the standard of service I expected for a Ritz Carlton.

    Lovely atmosphere. Some of the food came out cold and the shrimp was overcooked. The service was ok especially since it wasn’t busy. I expected more for the price but most likely I would try it again to see if it just wasn’t an off night.

    Greeted immediately upon arrival. Drink service was prompt. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Entrees arrive in perfect time and were delectable. Our Server Alyssa was attentive, kind and personable. She catered to our every need. 10 out of 10! Can not wait to go back!

    We both had seafood and both were slightly overcooked. The shrimp / pasta dish was fairly bland. The dinner rolls were not very fresh. We had breakfast there the next morning. A worm crawled out of one of our raspberries.

    Loved the ambience, the servers were good but the waiter was pretty cold. The food was great, but boy will you pay for it. Definitely kid friendly (assuming kid isn't screaming the whole time).

    Realizing that we are experience difficulties getting help, we understand but service was very slow. However, the waitress was very friendly and wonderful, I think she was overwhelmed. The bartender was not experienced. Took a long time to get drinks.

    On a nice day, sitting outside at Coast is just perfect. As expected at Ritz Carlton hotels, the service was over the top. A great spot for lunch!

    Overall a very nice experience. We were seated a bit to close to the couple next to us. Understandable if busy, but the dining room was not busy enough to sit is so close. The shrimp also were a bit strong. I loved the dish, but was not able to eat my shrimp. The grits, sausage, tomatoes, and okra made a lovely plate in spite of the shrimp. Our server Bryan was excellent. We always enjoys this restaurant and returned early this morning for brunch.

    We were celebrating my husband's 91st Birthday at Coast dining room at the Ritz on Amelia Island. Riley was our waitress and welcomed us warmly. The service was very good, the food excellent and our dining experience very enjoyable. We often celebrate special occasions at the Ritz on Amelia and have never been disappointed. We will be back.

    Our waitress, Jacqueline, was very nice and attentive. The catch of the day which was a golden tile fish which I ordered blackened. But, it was more like crisped & blackened with color not season. It was quite noisy as well with a lot of kids literally running around. The prices don’t match the e or Ted quality of the food.

    Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere, and a good value for what you get. The shrimp I had were especially delicious, and they make an excellent Manhattan. I also liked the thoughtfulness of the kids’ buffet, so the little ones can jump right in and you avoid the issue of having hangry meltdowns by kids waiting for their food to come.

    We visit the Ritz often, and Coast was a great way to celebrate a birthday lunch! We sat outside, on aa sunny, breezy day, and had a delicious Caesar Salad, my husband had a wrap, and Mom had a BBQ chicken sandwich. Servings were HUGE, so we were provided with takeaway bags for leftovers. Mom is hard of hearing, but sitting on the patio made it much more comfortable for her, and all of us! Would definitely return.

    Service at the hostess desk was abysmal, a cross between incompetence and rudeness. We had no seating preference and the two girls babbled at each other and took phone calls. So we walked to the bar and decided to eat there and annoyed an excellent dinner.

    I was so disappointed with the food and the service. We are staying at the hotel for our anniversary and booked Coast for dinner. We were disappointed with the food and service. I would not recommend for a casual dinner and certainly not for a special event. I normally never write posts and typically put up with sub par food and service but this was so disappointing I had to comment.
