Fabulous meal and service. Can’t wait to be back.
Had a wonderful meal celebrating my sons 21st birthday.
Food & service was exemplary!
Celebrated my husband's birthday at Coach Grill and everything was perfection! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing and the service was top notch. Coach Grill never disappoints!!
Heather, Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
We were here for Brunch. My parents love their brunch! A little jazz music a combination of brunch food and lunch. They love their Eggs Benedict. Eggs were cooked to perfection a little extra Hollandaise sauce and you had my mother! The sweet rolls are delicious! I had a delicious burger! Everyone was happy! Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I highly recommend brunch. They have a wonderful wine list with many delicious choices if not sure just ask!
The experience at the Coach Grill was wonderful. Our waitress was outstanding and everything we ordered was so delicious. We did have an issue with a gift card that wasn't honored because there was an expiration date. However, in MA I know that there is no expiration date on gift cards. The manager would not override this. That was the only disappointing thing. That said, we would still go back to Coach Grill.
Great place but it took nearly 20 mins between ordering and the time I got my cocktail. They need more staff at the bar if it takes that long to turn around an order.
Birthday dinner for my wife. Table was right outside the kitchen. There was a fair amount of traffic and noise associated with the table location.
I love Coach Grille! Service and food are great & delicious a very consistent restaurant! I wish there would be more specials not the same specials all the time. They make excellent cocktails. I always request
the same waiter because he is consistent and knows what to recommend!
Food was very old school. Pesto on crab cakes way too overpowering. 4 tiny crostini with beef tartar. Hollandaise on the side for surf and turf?? Is this 1990? Pesto should not be anywhere near a crab cake. Bread was the best part!!!
I had not been to the Coach Grill in some time as I no longer work near. Due to this, I was excited to bring my significant other for his birthday as we knew we would be in the area. Quite honestly I was disappointed. Our food was NOT hot. Specifically the scalloped potatoes and asparagus - which should be HOT! Everything was luke warm besides my boyfriend’s steak which is a complete shame considering the prices of this establishment. Additionally my prime rib was extremely fatty with minimal meat for the size and price. The Coach does not have the allure and quality it once did. Will not make the 30+ mile track to return.
The others in our party enjoyed the lamb and the steak. I ordered halibut and it was tasteless. I am pretty confident, because of the texture, that it was not halibut.
Another delicious dinner at the Coach Grill. Excellent service and creative cocktails.
Thank you Judy!
There were five of us. Overall, we enjoyed our different entrees.
Thank you Joan. We hope to see you again soon.
Food was excellent and our waiter Kevin was very good and friendly
I have always loved my experiences here and lately I can’t say that’s been the case. The past few visits had slightly subpar elements to our meal to make the value for what we were receiving plummet. This particular visit I ordered a dish I had begun to crave, the smoked salmon gravlax. I have had this dish so many times, it was something I hadn’t had in a while and truly felt the need for it. When it arrived, the presentation wasn’t the only disappointing note. The “relishes” were a pile of chopped red onion and a pile of chopped black olives. Nothing terribly wrong with it and if it was my first encounter I may not have been as sad. However, neither being a relish I asked for one, specifically the pepper element that the dish was lacking. I received a standard pickle relish. I asked if the chef had changed since this was off the mark entirely. I was told no several times which left me confused. How could a dish that was created by someone be left with no recollection as to its previous presentation. Especially since it hadn’t been no more than 7months from my last visit for this. Finally after a conversation with a manager did it emerge that there indeed is a new chef. Why the teeth pulling to get a simple answer is beyond me. Knowing that the person who prepared my meal didn’t truly understand the origin, I am more sympathetic. In the same breath, due to the lack of transparency in this experience as well as the disappointing meal I won’t be rushing back.
The appetizer was delicious. Although my steak was burnt and we’ll done not medium well like I ordered. Everything else was great. I say if don’t order steak you will have a great meal.
Food and service were excellent. Our waiter Kevin was awesome! What a great night!!
Thank you for choosing Coach Grill to dine. I will pass along your great review! We hope you can join us again soon.
It was a wonderful experience! Cozy yet elegant vibe. Amazing food and reasonably priced for what you get! Highly recommend
Always love it here. Food, service and ambiance are great. Not cheap but better than many more expensive restaurants.
The dinner was nice with my only negative being that I asked for a quiet booth but was given a small round table in a room on the side. It met my ask for a quiet setting but the table seats were not as comfortable or spacious as a booth would've been.
Our last few visits to the coach grill have been uneven but I must say they did an outstanding job for us on 2/15 - My bone in filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection and my wife's lobster rav was also quite tasty - so happy to have come back and had a home run dinner - even the chopped salad and onion soup were spot on. We love the coach grill and the environment. I especially love how they serve their Manhattans in "test tubes" so you can pour just the right amount while the remainder says cold on ice...bravo coach grill - on a very busy night you gave my wife and i just the date night we were looking forward to.
We ordered a special meal entree , the chateaubriand. It was outstanding. Service was terrific
My wife's crab cake appetizer was two very small pieces. She said they were very good but the quantity seemed lacing for the price. Our steaks and sauteed mushrooms were excellent. Our waiter was efficient but less than attentive. We felt like we were an afterthought.
Was not quite the same as our previous visits, but most likely due to the very busy Valentines Day crowd.
A great Valentine's Day dinner. As always, the steak is amazing and the service exceptional.
Delightful Valentine’s Day experience. The food was perfection. Our waiter, Justin, was excellent. We had a wonderful time!
Valentine’s Day. Enjoyed the food service and the whole experience
Mistake was going on a Monday night. The A team must have been off. Wife's crab stuffed shrimp fine. Apple salad need better dressing, something other than a few pecans and few bits of apple very bland and difficult to eat. Short ribs buried in sauce like gravy. Accompanying beans tired.
As usual service was first rate, noise level low as only four tables in use Music great but repetitive.
The Coach grill is our special occasion choice. We try it again but never on Monday.
We visited Sunday night for my birthday. The food and service were exceptional. The kitchen was quite slow with our entrees, which was too bad because we had two children in our party. The wine was delicious, but outrageously expensive.

Met another couple for dinner. Able to hold conversation easily
Food (prime rib) spectacular. Enjoyed the blue cheese wedge salad and the large pour of a decent red wine in a carafe. Great service
Thank you for the 5 star review!
Steak and corn pudding were outstanding. they ran out of baked potatoes. How does a steak house tun out of such a staple item?
Service was amazing. But food was just ok - (scallops and steak over cooked) and for the price, that’s not ok.
The bill with tip came to $200 for dinner for two. The food was good, but certainly not worth the money. If you are looking for this kind of place go to the Capital Grill instead.
The dinner was delicious and the server, Justin, did a very fine job. Although we were seated near the kitchen is was not really that much of a distraction. It was cold out and upon entering the restaurant you could smell the delightful aroma of the wood burning fire - how welcoming it was!
Thank you for the review Rusty! I will pass your kind words on to Justin and the rest of the Coach Grill staff. We certainly hope to have you visit us again soon.
We love the coach grill for dinner, and this was the first time we’ve been for brunch. The lobster and filet Benedict and regular Benedict were both exceptional!! We will be going back.
Thank you Rachel. We serve brunch on both Saturday and Sundays now. Visit us again soon.
The food was tremendous. The steaks were cooked perfect. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The side dishes like asparagus and corn pudding were favorites. It was my son's birthday and the butterscotch bread pudding that was wonderful. I also enjoyed their wines which are specifically for the Coach Grill/Abe & Louis franchise. It's nice to have an excellent "Boston" restaurant have a sister restaurant out here in the western suburbs. It is very popular and always busy. A great place for a special occasion.
Such a wonderful review! I will share with the entire staff and we certainly hope you can visit us again soon.
Very good restaurant. Excellent service, excellent ambience. A bit pricey.
Went for Sunday brunch. It was wonderful - food was delicious, service was attentive without being made to feel rushed. Live jazz was nice too!
Food options were very good for our diverse party. Everyone found something they could like. Overall food was very good, but a bit pricey for the quality you received. Jazz band was a nice touch but could be loud if sitting by them. Had one diner who ordered the Lobster BLT sandwich, and it was an open face sandwich. It would have been good to know prior to ordering. Too much avocado as well.
Thank you so much for all the great feedback. All your comments are used to assist the Coach Grill in maintaining it's high standards. We hope you will visit us again soon.
