Brunch was disappointing. For such a "high-end" restaurant the food was not well prepared.
Pricey but good, like most high end steak houses.
Where’s Mark? When’s he comin’ back? Normally the presence or absence of a restaurant’s general manager makes little difference. Not so at the Coach Grill with its manager. It’s not the same. The kitchen is slower and less consistently great. The service is less gracious and less curious about whether everything is as perfect as we’ve come to expect. He’s brought the Coach Grill back from its lockdown to be even better than before. The full parking lot testifies to his success.
Is he in jail for some trumped up charge? When will he return with his charm and obvious concern for every guest’s experience? We do miss him.
Always a great experience. Service excellent, food perfect
Great old fashioned steakhouse vibe. Stephanie is an excellent server! We were given a choice between weekend brunch and dinner menus so there was a lot to choose from. A massive chopped salad left me with little room for my main course, a generous steak frite plate for lunch. Mounds of french fries and a huge sluce of layer cake to go completed the meal. The manager came by to check on us, and we felt very welcomed and comfortable here.
Lovely meal with a great wine pairing. This is a great place for a special meal
Great service and consistent food
Brunch Bread and Blueberry muffins were outstanding. the main meals were over salted and spiced. Not sure that it may have been the Truffle Hollandaise, but it did not add to the traditional dish. The Tenderloin hash was too soupy.
Same excellent service every time.
Food and service at Coach Grill is always outstanding!
service was great, food cooked to perfection, enjoyed the atmosphere.
Food was not up to par. My salmon was dry. Service was very good
Very good service, but food wasn’t great!
Food was barely warm and extremely salty.
Will say they excelled in their PPE and Covid protection....
And dessert was great!
audit your bill
Waiter upgraded my wine price allegedly because the wine I ordered was "out"
He di d not tell me wine was "out" nor ask my permission nor changed the bill when I asked him why the price was upped by 60%
Great food and wine, and a nice ambiance. We sat inside and the servers were going in and out to the outdoor area which let in some cold air and we felt a bit cold. However the server was outstanding and the food is great.
Worst steak I’ve ever had at Coach. Very tough. Served cold. I should have just sent it back to kitchen and ordered something else. (How does a steakhouse serve a cold steak?????)
Waiter was good. Did a nice job
our breakfast was wonderful - the french toast was so light and airy and the eggs benedict with a filet was excellent - did not care for the english muffins
Food and drinks were excellent, service was bit slow ( 3 hour meal) but we weren't in a hurry.
The Coach Grill never disappoints, we really enjoy the menu and ambiance. They have adapted really well to Covid challenges of keeping everyone safe.
Been many times. Horrible service. Was completely ignored. Had a reservation still had to wait 45min. Hope next time is back to normal especially given prices.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Great food. Wonderful service. Ate out under the tent, very nice.
Perfect birthday brunch with a wonderful plate of desserts from the Chef. A new favorite!
Our dining experience was terrific. It felt great to go out to dinner. We were extremely well treated, the food was terrific, the menu was accessed on our phones so as to avoid handling menus. Everyone was socially distanced but somehow, things still felt comfortable and intimate. Our server was delightful and all in all, it was a most enjoyable evening.
There was four of us, and we had a great time. We enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
Had our favorite waitress Laura!
Her sister, Cheryl works for my husband @ Orthopedic Affil. In Concord, MA. She’s been serving us & coming over to say hello, (even if she’s not our server) for @ least 15-29 yrs!
Great evening.... Pattie Driscoll
This was the best Brunch I've had in years!! Starting with the cinnamon rolls which are addicting, I moved onto the Abe & Louie's Hash and finally the Steak and Eggs with a Filet substitution. Although the food was to die for, the highlight was our server Stephanie. She was so cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful with the menu items and explaining everything. It was a bit chilly, but you'd never know it, her radiant smile and attitude kept us warm all morning. I couldn't recommend Coach Grill and Stephanie any higher. Thank you for starting the day off perfectly!!
Some factors contributed to my 4 out of 5 stars: 1) Our waiter was just not personable nor interactive. He was competent but his suggestions on what to order and the quantity to order were wrong twice. No big deal but took him from a 5 to a 4; 2) We had to send a filet back that was substantially undercooked. Even after they brought the meat back it was still under cooked; 3) The potion sizes of the sides were small; too small for the cost; 4) We were disappointed in the size of the oysters. Not the restaurant's fault for how small they were, but one dozen was barely enough for 3 people; 5) The portion size of the lamb chops and how it was served was poor. Three medium sized lamb chops thrown on a plate was below par when comparing similar dishes at other steak houses.
So, I hate to be so nit picky. But we spent $900 for six people with tip. For that amount I think I should expect nothing but excellence.
Stephanie A was our waitress and she was Excellent, made us feel very comfortable and was very attentive to our needs. The Soups are amazing I had a clam chowder which was full of flavor and creamy, My Girlfriend had the French onion which was bold in flavor. We both had prime rib for dinner which was amazing. The atmosphere was great and it wasn't loud at all in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out, but please don't expect to pay $50 for your meal it is more of a higher dollar value Steak House. Well worth the money in my eyes.
The wait staff was outstanding. the food was perfectly cooked and our child had a reaction to a piece of bread and our waiter let know what was in it.
Very good experience, well arranged outdoors dining
The atmosphere is always so relaxing. The food was great!! My 8 year old commented how good the service was. Now that's a big deal when a child comments on service.
Excellent food and service!!
We ate outside. Everything was great except we were all cold. There were multiple propane heaters but only one near us was turned on. I requested that that provide more heat but it did not happen. I don’t think I’ll go again as the weather is getting colder still and we were cold throughout the meal.
Outstanding service from Bryan. We sat outdoors and he was welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and made the experience memorable.
Coach Grill has a terrific talent in Bryan; he is one of the reasons we would return and recommend to friends.
Thanks so much for this feedback! We will be sure to relay the message to Brian. Hope to see you back very soon
Coach is my favorite. Love the dining experience, the staff, the service and the manager, Mark, truly cares. thank you!
Thanks so much for the feedback, Diane! I know our staff appreciates it. See you soom
We have had many great meals here in the past. This meal was brunch outside under the tent. Because it is so close to Rt 20, it is very noisy...which is understandable. What was more disappointing was the inattentive service and mediocre food. I expect more from this place.
It is one of our favorite restaurants!
Always a great experience with superior food & service. The outside dining is so important during the Covid outbreak.
we had dinner outside under the 'tent'. the outdoor accommodations we were fine considering why they offer the arrangements. we made reservation to ensure we would be outdoors. the service, the food, the wine, and dessert was exactly what we expected; outstanding!
Excellent in all aspects. Very good menu and wine list.
