It was a birthday celebration for a friend that just turned 88. She had never been to Clydes.
Excellent dinner. Cocktails and entrees were all very good. Still the most beautiful restaurant around and proud it's in our backyard.
Willow Creek farm never fails to provide a memorable night out. With friends or just a couple, you'll enjoy the unique building and furnishings as well as the meal and service.
Great service and great food!
Great time. Great place. We really enjoyed our time there.
Had the herb and cheese ravioli, little disappointed with the amount - 5 raviolis for $17.00...
Loved the whole experience.. will be returning soon.
Goof food and service with a really great ambiance.
Our dining experience at Clyde's was wonderful. We sat on the patio to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail for happy hour and the view was lovely. Nicole and Tim were amazing wait staff and attended to our every need. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the calamari was some of the most tender and flavorful I'd ever had. Excellent experience.
I was there with my family for Mother’s Day dinner. The place has great ambiance and we were seated promptly. The service was average and our server not to attentive.
We had the Calamari and flat bread for appetizer. Crab Cakes, Buffalo Shrimp wrap and hanger Steak for main course all were pretty good. We had to ask the server to get us bread for the table. The drinks were not refilled and to ask couple of times. The dinning experience was not bad. However for the price the service can be definitely improved. When we were taken to our table to be seated it was dirty and the table not cleaned . We had to ask someone to get it cleaned and they had an attitude. The location is very nice would be great if they have better servers and hostess to improve the overall dinning experience.
Used to be my favorite restaurant in Loudoun County. Food quality has declined, drinks were watered down and I've had better service at a fast food restaurant. So disappointing! Used to be such a great place to eat.
My husband and I dine here every so often and we've always had great service and a wonderful meal. But Sunday not so much. It was Mother's Day, our reservation was at 7p so much of the crowd was gone. The girls out front are always so nice and friendly. We arrived early because there was a storm on the way. We only waited a few minutes and was seated in the very back room with a huge fireplace. We sat down and waited and waited and waited. No one said anything to us or brought water. Finally, my husband asked a bus person if she could get our server. This young lady with blond hair with a long braid came to the table. I don't remember her name though. We each ordered a glass of wine. My husband always orders a glass of ice on the side. The drinks came and no ice. We had to send her back for that. Then we ordered. He got fried trout and I ordered ravioli with a side of roasted beets. Our food arrived his was good and hot, mine was lukewarm at best and it was cold before I finished it. She came back by the table to see if everything was ok. I didn't say a word. As long as the fish was hot that was all that mattered. My husband asked for a beer list. She never brought it but she came back to the table again to ask if everything was ok you would have thought that would have reminder her she never brought the beer list. After we finished he had to ask her to bring us the bill. We love dining here. The food is always so good and fresh. And it always so different. It's very close to our home. But this time just wasn't up to par. We'll definitely be back though.
Food was good, waitress was not terribly attentive. Daughter (13) order Caribbean chicken which was terribly spicy (green pepper sauce) with no warning no on the menu or warning from the server. Steak was great but I think server was tired (was mother’s Day and seemed like she was nearing the end of her shift).
Salty, service was not great, and pork chop not cooked as ordered.
Came with my kids for Mother's Day. The wait staff was great and they handled the volume of customers pretty well. They have a great kids menu that is cheap and includes ice cream, which made my little ones, age 7 and 9, very happy. I went out on a limb and tried the Peruvian Chicken and enjoyed it a lot.
I love Clyde’s Willow creek. The number of entrees this month is limited. They seem to be promoting their steaks. Bring back the monthly specials and a more diverse menu.
The food and service was outstanding. Staff was prompt to seat us within 2 minutes of our reservation. Wait staff was prompt, courteous, and pleasing to have. Management stopped by a couple if times to inquire about our visit.
Outstanding place to visit and dine.
We live Clydes- have gone to this location and the one in Mark center, Alexandria. On this day, Mother’s Day the good at best was average- barely average. My omelette was really pretty tasteless, the burger also was tasteless. The whole meal was just tired -something we’ve never experienced before. Although the Willow Farm location is an absolutely beautiful setting, I don’t think we’ll go back there any time soon. We’ll stick with Mark Center location.
We had a very nice Mother's Day brunch. The vegetables were surprisingly overcooked but the potatoes/parmesan crusted trout was very good. My daughter had the buffalo shrimp wrap and that was good but the fries were served lukewarm at best. It may have been because it was a busy day. It was still a nice experience and they did their best to find "safe" foods for my other child who has severe food allergies. We would go back!
No special brunch menu for Mother’s Day. Very few kid breakfast options. Shell in my crab cake, cold coffee, waiter never refilled drinks. Overall very disappointing. Visits were much better in the past.
The restaurant was very crowded and it seemed the staff was overwhelmed. The food was below standards to say the least.
My experience was very poor. Even for a Saturday night at what's considered prime time I expected more form this type of restaurant. It took 10-15 minutes for our server to even greet our table and then a total of 45 minutes to even receive our appetizer. The server was unconcerned about the slow service and wait time. Normally when a restaurant is busy (and it did appear to be somewhat busy) a server is apologetic or at least swings by to say they'll be right with us and we received none of that. It's as if my husband and I should be grateful that at least someone eventually came around. Both our appetizer and entrees were warm but no where near hot or what could be considered a normal acceptable temperature for restaurant food. We did mention that to our server and she was unconcerned and unapologetic.
Absolutely amazing, as always. Food was delicious! Service as well. It was a busy evening for them, but it was very smooth and everything was great!
Food was great as usual and our server took excellent care to detail since we both have issues with allergies.
This Clyde’s location is beautiful and an amazing place to visit in spring. Sit on the outdoor patio and listen to music and enjoy the setting. Food is great and staff are wonderful. I have been to this location several times and both inside and out it is a fun experience in all seasons. Our table was for 8:45pm and when we got there at 7pm we were happy to find out they could seat our table of six right away. Enjoy!
We had been to Willow Creek before & had a great experience. So, we recommended to friends that we meet for lunch. Our service was terrible ------ very, very slow & unattentive. Once we finally got our lunch two of our entrees were cold........ my daughter's bison burger & my omelet. Also, this was the worst omelet I have ever had & it didn't even come with toast. The fruit that came with it was poorly presented & not very flavorful. We felt that we were embarrassed after speaking so highly of Willow Farm to our friends who joined us. None of us are likely to return.
Service is always excellent. GM's warm, friendly and accommodating. Servers will ask chef to prepare foods to your liking. We have been going to most of the Clyde's since they came into DC, VA, MD.
Expensive . Tried to add 4 more people earlier in the day. They said they could not accommodate or promise adjacent booths. Reservations were at 6:15. We finished eating with dessert at 7:50 and the room we were in was virtually empty especially adjacent booths and several tables adjacent to each other. A party of 8 were seated as we left in a section apparently reserved.
Took awhile for our food to arrive but several events were in progress. We go there about once a month and always enjoy it.
There were 2 servers assigned to our section, but the waterboy was the only one who stopped by our table without us having to call for them several times. We were basically ignored. The crab cake dinner was served with what was basically potato chips, although it had a much more elegant name. The crab cake itself was fine, but the rest of the meal was very poor. Even the bread was so salty you couldn't eat it. My friend had the salmon which was plated much better, but nothing to rave about. We were set in the carriage bar for dinner and it was very noisy from the bar. Overall, the food quality was well below average and the prices were above average, not a good combination.
Seafood entrees better than other Clyde's in the area. Outdoor seating is great. Service was excellent.
Two of us had the crabcake sandwich for which Clyde's is justifiably famous. It was great. The other guest had the fried oysters and they were outstanding. All in all, it was a great lunch, and the restaurant is really quite special.
I hadn't been here in years and now I remember why. The food is only OK and the drinks are very weak. We sat outside and that is a very nice environment.
Had the flatbread app and a salad - the flatbread was bland and the salad was overdresssed and served in a tiny bowl so I couldn't cut the large leaves into a manageable size. The portion was very small - the size of my fist.
The property is beautiful but the offerings are lacking.
Great experience celebrating a birthday.
French toast was over done and too few strawberries. Dessert: Sinners and Saints cake was memorable and 1 serving was enough for 4 adults. Traditional eggs Benedict was good, as was the omlet. Diet Coke was served flat, ice tea was very weak but coffee was great.
A favorite. Beautiful place, delicious food, and friendly people. Only downside is that it is almost fifty miles from where I live. Wish it were closer.
Server was quick to tell us how slammed she was when we were seated, which led to sporadic follow up during the meal. We also waited for a long time to get a check because of a card problem at another table, which we heard about from a different server who finally took our check after our server never returned. Unfortunate end to an otherwise good meal.
Love the farm house setting
