We love the ambiance of Clydes in Ashburn….especially this time of the year with the fireplaces burning…so cozy. The food is consistently delicious, the wait-staff are on top of their game.
It was a nice brunch and the service was up to standards for a Clyde’s restaurant.
Clyde’s in Ashburn never disappoints!
The food is consistently good with something for everyone. True test of good Eggs Benedict, poached eggs with a runny yolk!
Sunday brunch…ordered Eggs Benedict…the poached eggs were undercooked, and the hollandaise was cold…not up to Clyde’s usual quality.
On a positive note our server was excellent.
I love Clyde’s but the guy that we checked in with at the desk was rude. Not typical.
Had to wait for table in spite of our reservation. Servers were young and inexperienced and made several mistakes with our order. Also, two servers kept coming to our table and it was very confusing because we had no idea which one was our actual server. Both mixed up our orders. The manager brought a free beer to my husband to apologize for the mixups, however. My meal was titled “Parmesan encrusted cauliflower steak,” and turned out to be half of a cauliflower roasted. Incredibly disappointing when you think you are getting beef. Wish the server had warned me but she seemed completely clueless. This was my first visit to Clyde’s and I was unimpressed. I had high expectations and it was a bust. The restaurant comes off pretentious and slightly overpriced for what you get, and the staff was a hot mess. I watched one hostess nearly knock down an elderly woman with a cane and she neither paused nor apologized. The woman looked totally shocked and tried to get out as fast as she could. Granted, the place was quite busy, but they should train their staff better and cut down on reservations if they can’t keep up with the crowd they’ve allowed in there. Again, I’m super disappointed since this is one of the very few fine dining experiences in Ashburn. We have so few options and I had hoped I would discover a new favorite. I guess I’m better off just driving over to Reston.
We had brunch on Saturday.
We ordered Steak and Eggs, Omelette and French toast.
Just regular coffee available, no latte or cappuccino.
Steak and eggs, perfectly cooked but because it was served in cold cast iron skillet got cold very quickly.
Omelette was very good, especially the potatoes.
French toast was deep fried and not very good at all.
Menu needs more kids friendly brunch options
This was my first time at the Willow Creek location and I was amazed!
It's almost like a resort. Beautiful place with multiple bars and dining rooms.
Classic Virginia decor with a carriage theme.
The food and service were 5 star!
I plan to go back regularly!
We did a post holiday family get-together. The service and setting were outstanding. People were nicely spread out. The staff was helpful and highly professional, and the Coq au vin was a real crowd pleaser.
Our server Gregory did a fantastic job! We were celebrating our anniversary and he did not miss a beat when it came to congratulating us. This Clyde’s has been my favorite and they do not disappoint. Everything was great and we will be back!
First time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, and the food was delicious. Excellent prices and attentive service.
Food was amazing ans service was fantastic!
This has always been an outstanding restaurant in my mind, and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The service by Cheryl B. was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She offered her best information on all of our choices and did everything she could to make the visit wonderful. The food was hot, tasted wonderful and was just what the doctor ordered for the 1st of January. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, even with the COVID drawbacks.
New Year’s Day!
The food and service was great. The only issue is that the restaurant is looking worn. The booth we sat at had torn leather and other nearby booths had similar issues.
We have been dining at Clyde's WCF for over 20 years - casually and notable family events. It's always a perfect evening and this was no exception. Thanks to Ariana for taking such good care of us.
The steak I ordered was a bit grisly. Otherwise all was good.
Great food and stellar service. One of the few places you get your $$$$'s worth!!
Dinner was great. Had the filet mignonette and the wife had the Seared Rockfish, which she loved. Our server was very attentive and made it a great experience for us. The ambience was perfect and we were glad to make it our New Year dinner place.
Always a pleasure to eat their. Our favorite restaurant.
Great atmosphere, food and service were good. Down side was a long hair in the clam chowder and a couple of small ants on the table.
Young lady server was nice
I’ve always liked Clyde’s. We sat in the bar area and it was really pleasant. My filet was excellent and service was courteous and mostly prompt. I truly love the ambiance. The only distraction was that there was a chilly draft by our table.
Cheryl was very personable. Great visit. Maybe should have provided the to-go desert that she forgot at no cost with after spending $275.
Clyde's Willow Creek has been a mainstay in my family for over a decade. However, post-COVID it has been a consistent disappointment. The food is overpriced for the quality and quantity. I get it; Supply chain issues at this point, you are paying for the building & grounds. You can get a better value meal & better quality food elsewhere. Praying for improvement.
We had a wonderful brunch of Chesapeake eggs Benedict - the best crab cakes and eggs perfectly cooked. and nice bubbly mimosas. Our waitress was the best. She checked in regularly and was very sweet. What a lovely treat!
Clyde's at Willow Creek is one of our favorite places to eat. We enjoy the food and the ambience.
We had a delicious lunch on Christmas Eve! And the service was outstanding. I had the rockfish and recommend it highly. My husband had the salmon - also excellent. And our friend had the fried chicken salad and enjoyed it thoroughly. Plus you cannot beat Clyde's Willow Creek for ambience - the restaurant is gorgeous!
As always, our experience at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm was outstanding. The food was delicious and well prepared and everyone enjoyed everything we had. The service was considerate and responsive. We will continue to return, again and again.
A bit noisy with family opening Christmas presents at nearby table
Food was tasty but not as good as we have on previous visits
Ambiance is wonderful. Service was okay. Food was tasty, could have been a little bit better. Fries were not hot and fresh, but room temp and dry, they could had been cooked much earlier.
A wonderful experience - delicious food, impeccable service and a lovely atmosphere. There was a large party in our room with a number of kids, so the noise level was a bit higher than usual, but since it's the holidays, a little more noise and excitement is to be expected. Clyde's is the answer for pretty much any occasion.
We made a reservation in case it was busy. Seated right away. Our server was great. She seemed to have quite a few tables but we were happy with the service. The food was good. I ordered a Yule log to go. I shared one with friends a few years ago and loved it so I thought I would take one home to my boys. Was quite surprised with how small it was when my boys opened it to share. It was probably 1/4 of the size it was in previous years. Otherwise, we were very happy with our experience at Clyde’s Willow Creek and will be back.
Lovely dinner at Clydes! From excellent Cosmos to delicious entrees, all was very enjoyable.
The service and quality are consistently excellent. And while their seasonal menus are regularly updated, there are also some great standbys to rely on. Best thing about Clyde’s in general is that their diverse menu is sure to please everyone in your party. But the sprawling yet intimate ambiance of the Willow Creek Farm location makes it great for special occasions, get-togethers or just everyday dining. A Loudoun County go-to.
Everything was wonderful! They handle social distancing the best with all their rooms, etc. Lovely brunch with special friends to celebrate Christmas. Too bad we were too full to have their wonderful Brownie Sundae ... that alone is worth the trip from Oakton!
Our dinner birthday celebration was memorable due to the ambience of the venue, the positive interface with the staff and the overall quality of the appetizers, entrees and beverage selections (two out of three diners had no room for dessert but they looked good also).
We have a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional lunch. I can't say enough good things about this Clydes location. It's a go to for Christmas with friends and it never disappoints.
