Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
This is not your average restaurant. Upscale but you can dress nice but casual. Food is excellent. Menu is limited so they can prepare things properly. Full bar with top rail spirits can make just about anything you'd want. Limited local beer selection, but they do have one or two favorites on tap. Excellent wine selection. Typical bottle pricing. A little high for the house wine. Ambiance is what you go for and is that of an old inn, cozy, warm, historic and inviting. Fireplaces in each of the multiple dining rooms. They actually built the inn from old (circa early to late 1800s) inn and farm buildings. Read about it while there. We have been there four times and would definitely go back. Food is delicious without being too pretentious. Wait staff was VERY helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.
Combination of atmosphere, decor and food selections make this one of the finest upscale restaurants in No. VA
Fabulous night. Our steaks were beyond perfect! Our server was perfectly attentive. I loved my drink and dessert was amazing. We don’t get many nights out and this was just perfect.
Not sure why they serve bread to some tables and not to all!
We had a great time. Food, service and atmosphere were awesome.
The kitchen got a few things wrong with our order. The service was great, the food ok and the price sort of high. Wasn’t our best visit to this restaurant.
My favorite restaurant because of the cool environment . The food is good but I wish they would change up their menu more often and offer new things.
Great service and atmosphere. Strongly recommend. Food was very good
This was our second time and were disappointed by services this time.
Ordered bread and butter which took a while to come out. Almost came out with dinner. Water glasses had some weird smell...they were clean but smelled like egg.
Ordered steak and asked for medium, but it was almost well done. Sides were definitely well done and over cooked.
Manager came out and was gracious to offer free desert. But it ended up showing on our bill.
Food certainly had good taste, but these nuances made Valentines dinner pretty unpleasant.
Will definitely try again..:I can understand it was a very busy day.
Always good.
Of all the current Clyde's restaurants, this is by far my favorite because of the atmosphere, the food, the service, and especially the violinist visiting each room and playing romantic music for Valentine's Day. I enjoy the fact the music is nice, but it also allows for ample time to sit and enjoy the company you are with and also have private conversation. There is a nice variety of wine to select from and new items to consider when making your dinner selection. I have been to this restaurant on a variety of occasions and have always left more than satisfied with my evening. I look forward to visiting again soon.
Great food, and great service. We have been going to Clyde’s since they opened, and they never let us down.
Thought we would be place in the middle dining area. Instead we were put back where the "families" were seated. Pretty noisy with the below 5 crowd. Not sure how else I could have requested a quieter dining space but will be sure I ask for the middle room the next time we dine.
The food was excellent, service very efficient, overall a great experience. We are never disappointed here.
Clyde's is always a great place to dine. Food ad service are always outstanding. Lately however, they haven't been updating their menu as often as they used to. It was always nice to try something new, or a favorite dish with new sides.
Always great service from the staff, great food and good times!
So disappointed! Waiter was so bad- charged for food we ordered and didn't get; charged for wine at full price when it was supposed to be half price; steak cooked well when we ordered medium-rare and the waiter never came back after the food was delivered until we asked for the check, so there was no way to communicate this.
Wonderful. Wonderful. Perfect environment service and meal. It’s the best of all the Clyde’s restaurant. The best hands down.
One of my favorites. A 45-minure drive but so worth it. My favorite Clyde’s
Although we requested seating in the Washington room next to the fireplace, they were able to accommodate the fireplace request in the Carriage room. Our meals were excellent as always but there seemed to be an issue in getting our beverages. No one ever asked my husband if he wanted another drink from the bar. We did have a good waitress. She made nice recommendations for me because of my gluten free needs. We were also happy that she paid close attention to both of our food allergies. We found that odd because they are usually very attentive to things like that. Other than that, we had a lovely pre Valentine’s Day date.
Family reunion. Wait staff - superb. All entrees- hot, with lovely presentation. Everyone loved their meal! The burger fanatic said it was the best he had ever had.
Slow service. Non attentive waiter
The crab cake was good as usual. the bison burger was not all that good. there was too much going on in the burger. Plain without all the topping would have been better
Perfect all around. Looking to go back with extended family soon.
This place is generally good but the brunch was horrible. Eggs were cold, some plates were wrong or not complete. Had to chase down our server for help..
Food was great and the service (William) was fantastic. Had a wonderful time! Really enjoyed the live music also!
Great Thanks. Keep up the good work. We'll be back soon.
We went to Clydes on a Saturday after waiting about 10 min at another breakfast place. The other place was busy and cramped with people starring at each other with impatience. We made a reservation before we got to Clydes and when we arrived we got right in. The food was great. The breakfast was peacefull with great service. We were extremely pleased with our decision.
Went w/friends for brunch. We had a nice time & service was great. It was just a little chilly in our section.
Great! Cozy place all the time.
Waitress wonderful as usual and very patient. She remembered us from previous time!
Awesome place
We had dinner with friends on Saturday evening. Our server was Steve and he was fantastic. Our wives enjoyed the salmon which was very good. My friend and I had the beef stroganoff which was fantastic.
We enjoyed a cozy fireside meal at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. Our food was well-prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and efficient. The portions were just right until we ended the meal with Clyde's apple pie a la mode. It's presented in its own cast iron skillet and it's delicious! Overall, it was a lovely dining experience in a unique restaurant.
We had great service and loved the brunch!
The service, personnel, and waiter were all excellent. As was the food. Thank you!
This has become a tradition I take my husband here for his birthday, the food is always on point and as is the service. This is a great place for either a nice meal or a special occasion.
The service was not great and we had to ask for several things twice. It was busy but seemed the server was frazzled and in a bit of a frenzy.
The second annoying thing was Open Table contacting me and asking why we did not show up. We, of course, were there. Hostesses were indifferent at best and maybe this is where that ball was dropped.
The food was good enough and that is the only reason I would return.
Went for our 10th Anniversary. It had been awhile since we had been here. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu and the variety they now have. It was very easy to find something that we would both enjoy. Food was cooked perfectly for us. My wife had the crab cake while I got the cowboy rib-eye with the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious!
As always, dining at Clyde’s is awesome. Excellent food, service and ambiance. We always enjoy our dinners at Clyde’s.
Very nice place. Good food, great atmosphere and nice staff. Our last visit was not the best but that is VERY rare. Normally, Clyde's Willow Creek is a very good restaurant for food, ambience and friendly staff.
