Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
Food is always reliably very good, but service falls short a lot of times. Perhaps the restaurant needs more wait staff? Tonight once again was big gaps waiting for service for the waitress to take our order, when we needed something and in between courses. I would have rated the restaurant a lot higher if the service were better since the food is always tasty.
Very tasty lobster special.
Great experience from entering the parking lot to leaving!
Great service! Good food.
Very good overall. Our server Cheryl was awesome. The band in the large room in the back was so loud. It was very annoying. But everything else was great.
Lovely restaurant. Fire last time visiting and I was impressed with this rustic place. It felt like it was on its own secluded area away from away from all of the bustle.
Consistently outstanding meals. Great wait staff. Shrimp Scampi and Lobster were wonderful.
It's been awhile since we've been back here but try to keep the restaurant in our rotation. Was disappointed with the lobster bisque as it had lobster flavor but no actual detectable lobster in the dish. The service was slower and less attentive than usual which was unexpected given how early it was in the evening. Hopefully just a fluke and not an indication of the quality at this location.
Our waiter kept forgetting us, but the food was fabulous!!
Great place to eat !!
Took visitors there for the first time and they loved it and loved the food.
Friendly and helpful waiter.
As usual Clyde's Willow Creek Farm was excellent. Mr. Fox, the manager was gracious and very nice. I had the Lobster Shepherd's Pie and it was very good.
As always the atmosphere was charming and the building historically impressive. We arrived 30 minutes early to a nearly empty space but were denied entry because "all the 630 and 645 reservations had to be seated before we were and they hadn't arrived yet." Ah, why? They were not going to give away our table so why make us wait? It was idiotic but the hostess, who never bothered to look at us, was immovable. This is bad management. The food was good. The service wildly friendly, chatty to excess and slow and forgetful. We waited for everything, sometimes to no avail. We never got our water and waited so long for dessert we got up and found someone to take our payment and only caught it to go on the way to the door. Not our best experience there. It was an amateurish performance and unworthy of such an impressive venue.
Needed more wait staff, food was great.
We always love this place, it was Sunday night.
After making an early reservation. Clyde’s still seared is in the bar. We were unable to talk to each other. We could have sat in the bar with no reservation
Overall very good. Huge location with a lot of character. Husband is picky about his steak and said the cowboy ribeye was excellent. I had the crab cake which was on the small side but very good. Chile and autumn salad also both delicious.
We absolutely LOVE going to Clyde’s for brunch. They have a really wonderful brunch menu on both Saturday and Sunday. AND, on Saturday their burgers are half price between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Their burgers are some of the best we have eaten. Great variety of brunch choices; they also bring out their delicious coffee cake, and the service is top notch. If you have room for dessert, those choices are also incredible. We shared a slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake and it was heavenly!!! We will keep coming back.
My husband and I enjoyed brunch at this Clyde's location. The food was excellent -- had the lobster and salmon "bennie". The service was perfect. Look forward to returning in the future.
Table was ready for us at time requested. Food and drinks was very good. (Especially the Acorn Squash entrée. Service was so-so. I did not fee our table was the center of the attention by just another table the server had to attend to. When I go to places like Eddie V's the customer is always the center of attention but with our table, we had long waits for the server to return and food that was ordered never brought to the table. The quality of the food outweighed the quality of service.
Wonderful food and service was great. Beautiful restaurant.
Great place to get my 1x per year 1 1/4 lb. Steamed Lobster. Great value for the money and the ambiance and service are great.
Everything comes together so well at Willow Creek. The ambiance, the service, the food
and even better it's the lobster season !
Service was weak, food was meh but the atmosphere was unique in a good way. Rare hamburger came medium well. The side of fruit was literally 3 large chunks of semi frozen fruit. The Reuben had chopped grilled meat.
Wonderful place with great food.
Had a wonderful dinner with family at Clyde's! Love the history of the restaurant and surroundings. Feels like dining with old friends. Now the food is every bit as good as the ambiance. Excellent service as well. All made for an enjoyable evening.
IS SUCH AN ORIGINAL RESTAURANT WITH GREAT MENU AND GOOD WAITING STAFF
Very consistent. Great food and service every-time.
They are always so courteous and go out of their way to take care of the needs of all of their guest.
This is especially true if their guests are celebrating a special occasion as we were this past Sunday.
We love it here. The building is unique and the food is yummy. We have dined both inside and out. Love both.
The waitress was kind enough to check on food allergies and thus had the chef modify the cooking so as to avoid mixing w shrimp. That was appreciated.
We were seated in the tables by the bar with our kids for our anniversary. (Has mentioned that in the reservation) There were tables available in the actual dining rooms. Our waiter seemed to be working in another area but coming by our table on occasion. Service was slow and bar area was loud. Poor experience tho food was good. We’d been coming for an anniversary dinner with the kiddos the past 3 years, won’t bother next year.
Fabulous environment, themed dining rooms, great food and drink. Our server was Mo, he was first rate, his recommendations were spot on! Ask for him when you go.
Clyde's is one of our favorite restaurants. We took advantage of the lobster special on Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed the service and those delicious lobsters. Hopefully, we'll get to do this one more time before the special ends!
It was our first time and we were not disappointed
Nothing was done for our birthday celebration.
Clyde's Willow Creek Farm was the perfect location for lunch for a group of seven! This same group has been enjoying Clyde's Fall Lobster Special for over twenty years in various Clyde's locations most often the Tysons location that no longer exists. This time at Willow Creek we had our usual delicious lobsters and better service than we have enjoyed in other locations. Thank you Muhamad K! We also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and especially the small private rooms in which we were lucky to be seated.
Clyde's usually has solid good food for a good value and they did not disappoint this time. room was loud but that wasn't their fault, there was a very loud table in the room.
The service was not good. It took us over 30 mins from the time we put our order in to receive our drinks. Water glass was empty during the whole meal. Great food, poor service.
Service was great, sat on the patio which was great, meal was kinda basic. Ordered the rice bowl for lunch. Nothing was seasoned - all fresh, chicken was tender, just no real flavor. Very unlike the meals I’ve had in the past here.
Our server was outstanding..
our visits are always a great experince.
Spouse birthday. It was great.
