We has a server named Cheryl - she was outstanding! great recommendations, excellent meals, quaint dining room with a warm fireplace - all in all a great evening thanks to Cheryl and Clyde's...
Nice place however I am disappointed that the amazing barn dining room has been turned into an events space since my last visit. I loved the feel of the barn dining room but alas, i guess profits dictate losing it.
Food was good. Waiter was unfamiliar with some ingredients on menu offering. Surprised as Clydes has in the past had through server training program. Drink: the variation of the moscow mule was watered down, and should have sent it back. Egg Benedict, or bennies as they want to say were good. homefries simple but good.
Lamb Stew was tonight’s winner. / Chili and Beef dip sandwich were less than advertised.
Atmosphere was magnificent- Staff were top notch
Perfect! Food was fantastic, perfect ambience. Knowledgeable and friendly wait staff and employees. Happy warm atmosphere.
Another great dinner at Clyde’s.
Stroganoff was delicious. Also ordered filet mignon, also great. Service was a bit off, but I tend to not judge the restaurant on one person's off night.
Would recommend getting the copper mugs for your mules.....
After being constant customers for years, we were so disappointed with the terrible service and unsatisfactory food that we doubt that we will bring guests to Clydes Ashburn again!
We had a luncheon date on 11 November seated in the Audubon room. After serving us drinks, we waited over 25 minutes...so long that I asked a staff member to get our waiter to come take our order, which didn't happen for another 10 minutes. After waiting well over 35 minutes, I complained to another waiter that we had waited long enough for our lunch...resulting in our lunch finally being served. We had told our waiter we wanted our eggs well done, only to have runny yolks served!
We were never asked if lunch was OK, to get coffee cup refilled I had to call another waiter. After finishing lunch for over another 30 minutes, we complained to the reception desk that we had waited long enough to pay our bill. Only then did our bill come. What should have been a pleasant luncheon was a disaster trying to host & entertain out of town guests
The ambiance was great however the service and food was not up to par. There were 6 in our party and 3 of us ordered the beef stroganoff. While the flavor was good, there was very little meat. It seemed like a bowl of noodles and mushroom. The waitress was barely around and several times we had to ask to have our drinks refilled.
We love this restaurant as they take special care to provide excellent gluten free options. Everything was wonderful for our anniversary dinner as usual!
Our waiter Jamey was fantastic. He did a great job with us and was just the right amount of attentive. The food was prepared wonderfully and in a timely fashion. I really enjoyed the ambiance and our brief escape from adulting. Everything we had to eat and drink was delicious!
We enjoyed our dinner at Clydes immensely. The combination of good drinks, food and the beautiful surroundings made for a lovely evening. The menu and food has really improved over the past few years and we're so happy to be able to depend on it. Can't wait to come back for more!
Not sure if was an off night but service was slow and sub-par.
Dining at Clyde's Willow Farm was supposed to be a casual Sunday night dinner, but the welcoming staff turned it into something memorable. The food and drinks were marvelous, and we will be back again in the spring to try their outside area.
Very good meal - good value for the money. Great ambiance!!
Went with a party of four for my mother's birthday and had a simply wonderful dining experience. They were very patient with my mother's gluten free needs and the food was outstanding. The cheese plate and seared tuna appetizers were top notch and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the meals, food and experience. This is about my 10th time there.
Everyone was pleased with their choice of food. The ambience was very nice (Great fire place!) although it was a bit noisy at peak hour. Our booth could have used some reupholstering, as there was a considerable tear on the seat. However, all in all, it was a lovely evening.
Had a Great meal but very noisy
Would ask for a more quiet table.
I've been to all the Clyde's restaurants in the No VA area many times. This particular experience was not my best, but yes, I would go back. I mentioned on reservation it was a birthday celebration , but no acknowledgement (why ask?). The food was good. It is a nice family restaurant.
Wonderful destination for a lovely first dinner date of a pair of 60sonething “new”singles. A great place to start building bew memories.
Every October this restaurant has a special on Steamed Lobster (1 1/4 lb) for $18.99. Great value and a nice place to die for lunch or dinner. Service was excellent and they have a great House wine.
Food and service excellent. Been going to Clyde's for 45 years.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere
1. made 8pm sat night res on open table for 4 (no choice of the numerous dining rooms)
2. rec'd confirmation email, and found res on my iCalendar
3. went to res on computer; but computer "said" couldn't as it was after 2pm
3. called clyde's to change from 4 to 5 persons. they couldn't find it....then found it for sunday, w/difficulty (even though i has printed my confirmation), changed it to 5per; but ONLY if agreed to booth with chair at end.
4. arrived at clyde's sat evening...... was told i had a res for 4 at 8pm Sunday; they said the had no tables availably for 5 but could seat us at a booth with a chair at the end
.... was seated at booth in main bar (ok, no problem) ............. until as we finished our meal loud music began...ok, late nite bar crowd BUT the loud music was old DISCO crap ........ whoever selected the music has no clue what today's customers like (none DISCO) hence we eagerly left
5. Rest assured if I go to Clyde's again i will:
a. make res via phone with Clyde's, NOT Open Table
b. will not come if dining room choice is available or a DINING room is specified
c. considering the music genre in the bar, always VETO Clyde's if a group of us would like classy evening bar menu
It was our last chance for the Lobster special so we went and it was perfect again. Lobster was sweet, service great and you really can't beat the special price. try and get there before they're gone, it's totally worth it!
It was a costume night for Halloween and all the waiters were dressed up. Our waitress was delightful.
I’m never disappointed at Clyde’s of Willow Creek. We had a large group and still got exceptional service.
It was my mom's first time in VA, so we had to take her to Clyde's. She loved the ambiance and the food was excellent, as always.
Best meal we have had at Clyde’s. Everything was perfect!
Great venue and ambiance. Menu quite extensive but yet limited to American genre. Great if that’s what the whole party is looking for. Excellent top
Notch service. A little pricey
We love Clyde's! It is the perfect place where we can get together with friends!
Clydes does not disappoint. Love this location and ambiance. Food was fabulous and good value, our server was great.
We had a lovely time and lovely lovely lovely waitress the food was exquisitely yummy, Both had fish dishes a swordfish and the salmon and they were both really delicious I can’t wait to go back again!
Everything was perfect accept the main food. Even the appetizer and the dessert was delicious. The place was very beautiful and grand. But the main food was below expectation. The fried fish was too oily and the burger tasted worse every bite. I even had some stomach issues after I came back home. Can't prove it's the burger though. But the main food was disappointment.
Fantastic service, quality and food. My favorite location for hosting events. Very accommodating event at the last minute and very friendly working with my group of 20+. Looking forward to returning with or without my group of 20+ very soon
Loved it, ambiance, staff and food were all excellent.
Noisy children at the next table made the event less than enjoyable
thanks for a very enjoyable evening with old friends. the seating was excellent, the food just right, and we did not feel rushed.
This was the second time we've been put in the bar or carriage room when we had a reservation. The noise level was unacceptable and completely spoiled the occassion.
We have been to this restaurant many times but our visit on Friday, October 12th was very disappointing. The waiter wasn't up to par on what we have had in the past. He was slow and appeared to be very attentive to his other tables except us. It was my husband and I's date night and because of the terrible service from this waiter, we will think twice about going back.
Would prefer a section that is small child free. Romantic anniversary dinners with small children running around noisily from other tables isn’t romantic 😒
