Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
I finally convinced my friends to meet me at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm for lunch. It's been on my list of must sees for a few months now. The experience did not disappoint! From the stunning setting in each of it's many dining rooms, to the superb service, and the exquisite food, it was a truly great dining experience all around. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
Didn’t seem to remember it was for a birthday, despite the greeter confirming that they were aware and wishing my wife a happy birthday.
Large party was talking so loud that we had to move to another room.
Clydes Willow Creek is easily the best atmosphere in Ashburn. No other restaurant comes close. The food is very good but I wish they offered some more creative dishes and changed their menu more often.
We had a reservation about 10 days ahead of the date. We were put in a room where there was an office party or something like that. The noise level was terrible. We didn't realize it when we first got there. The noise built up as the party got going. It ruined the evening. There are a lot of choices in the area......it will be a while before I returned.
Simply delicious dinner. Arrived at 845 for dinner reservations and seated immediately. The restaurant was relatively quiet by then, but the bar was crowded. We had the hummus appetizer (excellent) the salmon entree ( really good) and the chicken orchietti (delicious). Dinner with a cocktail and one beer was $72. Excellent service. Always like Clyde’s as a good staple.
Excellent dinner! We had steak and salmon entrees. My partner said that was the best he’s ever had and he’s hard to please.
We went for lunch and the food was very good and the server was excellent!
Everything was just okay. Food was the best part of the experience. Service was lacking. Host not welcoming. It's just not a well-run establishment.
Excellent all around.
The service was awful. No sense of timing for the meal. Forgot to bring the second round of drinks after ordered
Clydes at Willow Creek Farm is a very unique experience. We have been there a handful of times and each room that you dine in is a different experience. We were in a front room with four large leather dining chairs, Which although sat a bit lower than we would have liked were very comfortable and a different experience. The food is always exquisite and amazing, beef stroganoff for $16.99, made with beef tenderloin, literally the best we’ve ever had! Calamari appetizer was perfectly done, fresh and slightly spicy really great! From the hostesses when you come in to the waiters to the bartenders, everyone is top notch! They take reservations which is unique in Northern Virginia ! Went and had an after dinner drink with friends in the bar and there was a great vibrant scene and a wonderful live band. Would have given 4 1/2 stars, only for it being a little bit too dark in our dining area and our chairs being slightly lower than was comfortable. Other than that it is a five-star restaurant ! Cannot wait to go back!
Beautiful place, very majestic. Unfortunately the food is inconsistent. I’ve eaten here on and off since they opened. Sometimes really good, other times mediocre - never bad. I recently attended a Christmas lunch at Clyde’s. The food was great. They gave us a gift card so we gave it another try. B-
I really hope the food improves.
Outstanding as always!
We love clydes. Impeccable service, wonderful food. However the restaurant is starting to show its age. Our booth seats were torn, the chair arms are no longer stained (meaning it looks worn), the pictures are banged up and other wear and tear damage. The glass cases look as though they hadn't been cleaned in years. Is this a big deal? Not really but dinner for 3 with tip was $120. Reinvest into the overall condition of the restaurant and it will once again be as pleasing to the eye as the palate
The filet mignon was outstanding! Cooked perfectly & so tender. Also loved the spinach with mushrooms which was perfectly flavored.
We love Willow Creek and have been coming here for more than 12 years - for girls’ night out, girls’ day out, storm is coming, let’s catch up, you get the idea. Will continue to go but less frequently I’m afraid. The prices just keep inching up and it’s getting a little untenable.
From the decor, to the cuisine, to the service. ... all were excellent! My only negative is that I found my crab cakes a bit too salty but that is a personal taste. The clam chowder was definitely the best I have ever had by far. We are looking forward to dining at Clyde’s again!
Best experience, very special
Consistent! Great food and great staff! Baked shrimp scampi is amazing. But then most everything
That section of the restaurant close to the bar is extremely noisy.
The atmosphere is charming and the food and service are great!
This is always one of our favorite places to celebrate a special occasion or for regular a date night. The food and service are almost always excellent and we love the decor and ambience.
Enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner with a very crowded restaurant and still received excellent service and food. Great spot for a neighborhood location.
New Year’s Day
It was New Years Eve so it tended to be fun and loud anyway. We were next to a table of adults (yes, adults) who were extra loud (boisterous) and proceeded to blow noisemakers way before midnight (8:00 PM). Very annoying. Once they left it was delightful. I wish the restaurant had been more proactive in reducing that annoyance. Our glances and stares did nothing!
Things were great! Food is delicious, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Ours was a group of 10, including 3 children, for brunch. Everything was absolutely great. Server was very accommodating, especially with the children. Service was relaxed yet efficient. Loved the warm atmosphere with fires burning in the fireplaces. Food was delicious. Several of us had the steak and eggs and all felt it was a perfect choice. Front of the house were welcoming and seated us without a wait. A great time was had by all.
Saturday night at Clyde's, both front room and entire barn booked for private events, so less than 1/2 of their tables were open for dinner. It was packed. Food was very good, filet cooked perfectly, beef short ribs were very tender and flavorful. Beef stroganoff was good, needed more cream, but otherwise it was good. Service was decent, they were really busy. Been to Clyde's many times, we keep going back because it's worth going back.
The price point is too high for the quality of food provided.
Stupid women had 2 kids at bar that was in bad taste and is illegal
And two women came in for a take out order and were wearing pajamas and a hat inoperable attire
Food is bad
What a perfect Christmas Eve dining experience! We will be booking our reservation again for next Christmas Eve. Food, service and ambiance were magnificent.
Very good service! We are also very accommodating as we had a friend who is running quite late. They kept her food warm and even replace the fries that would’ve gotten cold and soggy at that point. The ambience at Clydes at Willow Creek is just so nice. It is one of the biggest draws for the restaurant.
Food was very good and server was excellent
The only issue I had was being seated at two rotund tables squished together. It made it rather awkward for those that were seated in the area where the tables were pushed together. We were more “back to back” than side by side. Otherwise everything was perfect
While the food was enjoyable, our server was so bad that it negatively impacted our experience. We had our appetizers delivered to the table before our drinks, bread was provided late in the service, and the bill took unusually long to arrive. The server didn’t engage with us; when we visited over the summer, the service was amazing as was the food. I’m hoping it was just an “off” night. PS- I don’t recommend the orange creme brûlée-it tasted like Tang.
Love eating at Clyde's anytime but especially at the holidays. Love the ambiance. They seated us at a table by the bar and the piano player. I asked to move us as it was quite noisy and they immediately took us to another room which was perfect. Good service, food and atmosphere.
It was great ambience and food. It just took the main course a LONG time to come out.
We go to Clyde's often since it's less than 5 minutes from our house but the reason we really go is because it's always good. Our server Cheryl knows us and the food and service was great. Can't go wrong going to Willow Creek!!
