Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
I've been to serval Clydes over the years and the food has always been a solid B or B+. Sadly the last few times I've been to this location the food has been a solid C at best. Not bad but not great. Wonderful setting, wine list and staff, wish the food quality was better.
This Clyde's location is always a good choice. The food and service is top notch.
My wife’s side toast was forgotten and finally came after we finished eating our meals and after I requested it to be removed from the check.
Everything else was great.
It was outstanding.
Our waiter was very busy on our Friday lunch, but the restaurant was not crowded. His service was adequate. We finally had our water glasses filled for the first time about 25 minutes after being seated. A small plate of very stale, dried out, totally inedible coffee cake was brought to the table after we placed our order. My real disappointment was in a very overpriced butter lettuce and shrimp salad. Extremely overpriced for a very moderate number of medium sized shrimp, butter lettuce, two small pieces of citrus, and a lot of mustard seeds. No flavor and definitely not filling. My friend had a steak medallion and lettuce wedge salad. She was equally disappointed. I expect Clyde's to serve a meal that has an element of something beyond very mediocre. I felt ripped off.
Visited for Thanksgiving. Had an excellent meal and great service.
Clyde's Willow Creek Farm has been our preferred Thanksgiving Dinner place for years. Excellent cooking, great ambiance, superb service and great memories. Highly recommended.
Great value for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was well prepared and service was good. Hard to beat for a turkey dinner.
We went for Thanksgiving and it was a great experience. We were sat per our requested room and table type on time. It wasn’t too over crowded and the host stand was well staffed and attended to. Our server was great, the room was beautiful and I work on interiors so I’m picky. The food was really good, tasted homemade!
Great service and food as always here thanks. Server was wonderful
Thanksgiving
Felt a little rushed, but to be expected ...very very busy. Do wish the carraige out side would have been decorated as in years past (great for pictures). Will be back for next year....front desk folks could be a little bit more cordial...one person in particular a little snappy!
Lovely restaurant. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. The cocktails were the best ever!
Food was not as good as it usually is on thanksgiving. Two family members said the food did not sit well with them. Calimari was great.
I love the feel of Willow Creek. I am used to a meal with a large family, but I felt like I was a part of a large family at Clyde’s. The food is delicious and portion sizes were quite large. Our waiter was friendly and gave us great service. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and I plan on returning for another Thanksgiving.
The food and service at Willow Creek are always spectacular!!!! I also love the ambiance with the various bars and I love the pictures and fireplaces!! This is always one of my favortite places anytime of the year!!!
Finally, a decent wine list. Finally, actual pie, not ramekin. Portions seemed a bit more generous. A lovely place.
I was most surprised with the quality of food on Thanksgiving. The quality of the food at the Reston Clydes has declined so over the years, that I wasn't expecting much at the Willow Creek restaurant. But the food was excellent. They far exceeded my expectations. The turkey was cooked just right, moist and tender. The green beans were al dente and the best that I have had in a restaurant. And the bread was flavorful, baked just right with a crisp crust. I don't usually get pumpkin pie at a restaurant because no one has been able to come near my mother's pumpkin pies. Most add clove or nutmeg. I don't know what Clyde's used for spice, but I didn't taste those spices. The pumpkin and pecan pies were superb. And the servings were so generous I have enjoyed several home meals of leftovers.
Wonderful service and great food thanks!!
Food tasted great. Well prepared and well presented. It was our anniversary so they offered desert on the house. Our server was very pleasant and friendly and was available when needed. When it comes to soft drinks, an elevated service would be for the server to offer refills rather than be asked. This would also apply to bread and butter for the table. I would think that every customer would expect this level of service from Clyde’s.
Beautiful restaurant and fantastic food. Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary!
We had a wonderful happy hour with wine at the bar. Then moved to our table. Our waiter was very friendly and informative regarding the menu. The food was delicious. I recommend the butternut ravioli. We celebrated a birthday. Our waiter made us feel welcome. And we had plenty of time to celebrate.
My husband's stake was over done but it was replaced with a medium-rare upon notifying out waiter.
We had a lovely evening. Our steaks were cooked perfectly! Will definitely visit again soon
At the time I made the reservation I mentioned that we would be coming to celebrate my daughter’s 16th Birthday. I was disappointed to see that this restaurant did not do anything to help recognize her birthday as other restaurants do either through a complimentary dessert or a discounted meal. Also, my Mother ordered the salmon and she said is was extremely salty. With regards to the service provided to us, it felt as though our waiter really didn’t want to serve us.
All in all our experience was very mediocre.
Wonderful lunch.
wonderful dinner - consistent service and quality make this a great go to restaurant.
Great food and service!
Very pleasant
For a double birthday celebration and a unique family reunion situation, I could not of imagined a more perfect setting. I not only do not have a single negative, but more importantly I can say that everything far exceeded my expectations! It was perfect. I actually can't remember a dining event as spectular as this. Thanks Andy and the hostess and the reservation person for making everything come together. Members of my party kept asking me "who do you know to get such service, etc?" Thanks Clyde's!
Food was good, but my daughter did not like the type of pasta used for the Mac & cheese she ordered. It used to be our favorite dish.
We always enjoy our visits to Clyde’s!! Very nice location, Food is predictably good and service is always attentive.
We've been fans of Clyde's establishments throughout the DC area for years but had never made it to their Willow Creek Farm location. We made a late reservation on a Saturday and made our way there - and we're sure glad we did. First off, the atmosphere is wonderful...true comfort & homely. Next, our waitress was absolutely fantastic - she was helpful, attentive, entertaining, and above all, genuine in making sure we had a nice evening. To top things off, the food & drinks were excellent.
We went with a goal of having a relaxed evening in a nice place with comfort food, and Clyde's checked every box. We will undoubtedly be back!
Always great. Love Cheryl.
We had special diet needs that were accommodated wonderfully. And as usual, the food and service was exceptional.
We were a party of eight celebrating family birthdays . The room that we were in gave the perfect amount of privacy and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere, with the beautiful murals and the lit fireplace added to our festivities. Everyone at Clyde's made us feel special and the food and specialty beverages were terrific!
The food was great, but food service was so slow. They gave us 50% off the check because it was so bad.
GREAT FOOD, GREAT PEOPLE WORKING THEIR. EVERYONE SO NICE / CLEAN
The atmosphere is lovely and the service is excellent and professional. The food good but not great and the portions are small for the price. I ordered the special lobster and it seemed meager (and a bit mushy in parts.) The coffee cake that they bring to the table looked delicious but I couldn't eat it because of an egg allergy; an alternate bread (e.g. piece of baguette) would have been appreciated.
Clyde's is always first class, this location is even more fun with the farmhouse restored and the fireplaces burning. Would love to try the outdoor space. Go and enjoy.
