We arrived and were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, calamari and soup after a 10 minute wait. They brought the calamari which was over cooked and you could not taste the sauce it was supposed to have on it. My wife ordered the soup because she does not eat calamari. In the mean time we asked the manager why there was no bread at our table. He apologized and said that there was no bread!!! Then the waitress brought a tiny bowl of soup and said it was a sample of a different type of soup because they did not have the soup my wife order - this was 1/2 hr after she ordered it!!! We told the manager we wanted to leave and he apologized and said there was no need to pay bill. Terrible experience - predict they go ourt of business like their other one did in Tysons corner!

We arrived early, and notified hosted, and politely asked if we could be seated earlier. She was quick to interrup “You table is at 7:30, you will have to wait”, very rude. Most hostess usually let you know if there is a chance ir not, without unleashing this behavior.... (Happy Holidays to you as well.....)...
Sadly, most of the food was also dissappointing. The chicken wings are the worst of any place, flavor & size, came out in a messy orage sauce that overfilled the dish. The kale & beet salad was the hit on the entire meal, as much else was salty. Our waiter was very attentive, which almost saved the night, but not for any of us to ever go back. The only reason I picked the Reston location was to support the merchants, hit by the parking issues keeping customers from going to the Reston market place, but after this experience, Clyde’s was not worth saving, starting with the blond hair host, the host and the menu needs to-get-back-to basics training.

Service was good and the filet mignon was delicious. Cooked perfectly! Had a round table for six of us and a view of the skating rink at Reston Town Center - made it very festive!

Mainly stuck with apps. Pork belly sliders and lobster cannelloni will make you weak. Highly recommend them! Service was average but only because I think or server got run over with 3 new tables at once. Great place, never had a bad meal here.

We were celebrating my Wife’s birthday and had put that on reservation. We lived Clyde’s Tyson’s and my wife really enjoys the raw bar which was shown on the menu. My daughter arrived early and although we were on time I got a call asking where I was and if I was in the bar. We arrived were huffily greeted, told they didn’t have the raw bar at that location. Our waitress seemed to have more important things to do because we rarely saw her. My wife asked for a small knife for Pate and 20 minutes later she came by to say they didn’t have one.

While the food quality was good it definitely seemed that they thought they were doing us a big favor letting us dine at their establishment

Took our teens out for dinner at Clyde's, ice skating and movies this past Saturday! Good time had by all and we will have dinner there again. There was a good choice from the menu to choose from. We will dine there again. Service is excellent!

All was what you would expect from a Clydes experience except the server forgot about us on several occasions. Waited 15 mins for the check and she never brought the refills she promised. Otherwise, great place to go!

I’ll be back! Food was a little pricey but it was tasty. Service was good. Everything came out quickly and our drinks were refilled without asking. The hostess could be a little friendlier and not as dismissive. Other than that, everything was great. Thanks!

This was probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. I ordered the short ribs . The meat was tougher than raw hide and the pasta was dried out and stuck together like glue. I swapped it out for the trout which is supposed to be a light flakey fish but it was completely encapsulated with coated with an oil crust. Completely inedible. Next time, I'll eat before going and just order a drink.

The food here is really inconsistent. I can go one day and have a really nicely prepared meal with fine customer service. Other times, I get diner quality food.

My last meal was a noodle/short rib dish that was still soaked in water from when they boiled the noodles (which were also stuck together). Clearly the kitchen was just in a hurry and didn’t take care when prepping my dish.

I had 6:30 reservations. I checked inand was told 2 minutes to get table ready. 7:15 finally seated. She said she forgot me. Steak was ordered medium and came out cold and rare. Waiter said cut steak so he could check and he said I need to take it back. He realized by looking at it it wasn’t correct. Same steak(missing a piece) came back 25 minutes later well done.
No apology offered...

We went to Clyde's in Reston for this Thanksgiving Day dinner. Expecting a good dining atmosphere, we were not seated until 45 minutes after our 6:30 reservation. There is little seating available at the front of the restaurant, so approx. 30 to 35 people were standing in the front which is unfortunate. The restaurant was very noisy due to the overcrowding. We have dined at Clyde's during a regular week day and the restaurant was not as noisy. The turkey was tough and dry. We had been to this Clyde's over the last 4 years and our expectations were optimistic. Maybe the restaurant overbooked for this Thanksgiving Day. We probably will not return next year.

Had a reservation on Thanksgiving for 8:45 pm, 10 people. We got there at 8:33 pm and were told they were running late and that we would be seated in around 30 minutes. We went to the bar area (which was completely full as well). We kept asking and asking and asking and always got the same answer "oh your table should be ready any moment now" that moment finally came 2 hours later at TEN FORTY FIVE!!! We finally got seated and the service was so slow that the bread came after the first round of appetizers like half hour after we got seated. We told them to bring the food as soon as they were ready and I actually had to ask someone to bring something out for my diabetic pregnant wife as she was starving but could not eat anything else than what she had diligently ordered 45 minutes before.
I like this restaurant and I've been there (another location) for a thanksgiving dinner before. I guess the problem is at the Reston location. Never again.

Thanksgiving 8 PM Reservation turned into a 9PM seating due to crowd size. Other people just left after waiting over an hour for their reserved table. They need to work out the kinks in their reservation system.

Had a 6:15 reservation and didn't get seated until nearly 7:15. No buzzer/pager system so hostess had to yell out names amidst the noise of many people waiting to be seated. Understand that it was Thanksgiving but it could have gone better.

Thanksgiving dinner- 615 reservation, arrived at 600 and told that they were running 45 minutes late! Why bother taking reservations? Dozens of people milling around the hostess since there were no pagers and you had to remain in earshot to make sure you didn’t miss your call.

Food was fine when finally seated, although everything was so rushed it was difficult to enjoy. Dinners arrived about a minute after ordering. Not the best thanksgiving experience.

I like Clyde’s and eat there regularly. The food is good and a good value. However, this was the second thanksgiving that was a mess. I will return to this restaurant but not on thanksgiving.

Had reservation setup 3 weeks early, got a call from them 1 week out to confirm... showed up 10 minutes prior to reservation and was told it would be an hour wait.... WTF, I made a reservation? The reply was “yeah, we over booked”, there was no apologies , nothing.... while waiting I overheard several customers come back to the desk after waiting for who mows how long, to complaine and they were told they would be moved up.... 3 different times this happened with us still waiting....1:20!into our wait, we made the same complaint and was then told we would be moved up???? After 1:40 we were seated..... WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Clydes in broad lands VA is a better bet for Thanksgiving. The Reston Clydes over booked and was 45 minutes behind schedule. It seemed very difficult for parties with elderly guests. Our server was miserable. Food was average. Make the extra 20 minute drive to the Broadlands Clydes!!!

Great food, but we went to Thanksgiving dinner here this past year and had to wait almost an hour and 15 minutes for a 5:00 pm reservation. They were too overbooked, the staff was doing their best but the patrons were getting restless and the staff was just not prepared. Horrible planning on their part, ruined a lot of people's holiday dinner. Also, since they were so busy our server basically took our order and never returned. I ordered a glass of wine, which came after 30 minutes. We were never asked if we would like refills or anything. Get us in, fed, with horrible service and the server expectation of big tips because it's a holiday! I would go back for the food, but definitely never again for a holiday!

We celebrated Thanksgiving as well as two birthdays at this location . Service was fair with long pauses between checking on our needs. Turkey special was fair also. Originally requested birthday options on the reservation, expecting to get a dessert of some sort with a candle. Unfortunately we had to remind the server which blew the surprise. :( Would not return.
