Food very good as always. Service OK, but a bit below usual standards this time. A full house is a bit uncomfortable in COVID times depending on where you are seated.
Christian was an awesome server!
The pre-dinner drink was late, and eventually cancelled, and was not expected to arrive until well after dinner had been served and eaten. Our server forgot the cranberry sauce for the turkey sandwich which was not thoughtfully prepared. A much too small sampling of cranberry sauce eventually arrived after asking for it but it was wholly inadequate. The presentation and taste of the the sandwich was not good. The second meal, Chicken, was not quite up to speed, either; not as fresh and properly cooked as one would expect. The bathrooms, the men's and women's, were dirty and lacked paper towels to dry hands. In summary, our dinning experience was not the best dinning and food service experience. Clyde's has in the past met or exceeded expectations but this time the server seemed inexperienced and too rushed to provided the expected, and required, service for a once great Clyde's. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was great as usual. We will be not be dining at Clyde's again until/if the service and dining experience improves.
The food is was what made our dining experience a 2 star. It was overall just bad quality and lacked flavor and seasoning. Our waitress was amazing and very friendly HOWEVER she barely came by except to help order our food and give us our check. There were no in between check ups or even serving our food. Because it was on Thanksgiving there may have less staff working but thats completely on management and not on our waitress. She probably was serving 10+ tables and still was an absolute delight and very friendly.
After being seated, watch Ed 3 groups seated after us get their beverages and meals before we set given menus.
Thanksgiving dinner. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.
As usual, the service was excellent and the food was delicious.
We went on Thanksgiving Day and they had a lovely Thanksgiving offering but they also had other things for people who were not in the mood for whatever personal reasons. The crab and artichoke dip is always a standard with us. The prosecco was quite delicious as an appetizer aperitif.
The wait staff were attentive without being cloying and up in your face.
Also unlike many of its competitors, the staff at Clyde's were fully compliant with current CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Clyde’s was a wonderful place to eat on Thanksgiving. The service and ambience was fantastic. I intend to it again next year!
Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and always on top of things. Food and atmosphere wonderful!
Server initially spilled water on the table. They were unable to serve everything on their menu. After the 3rd attempt to get a second drink, the bottle of beer had ice in it. Food was good but $200 for a family of four on a Tuesday was high considering one salad, one mignon with giant stalks of broccoli, and two crabcakes with fries, nothing extraordinary. Have always liked this particular restaurant but service and management continue to get sloppy everywhere.
With my dad and husband before Thanksgiving.
Our overall experience was great. Our server was very attentive and the food was amazing. The bellini's were super delicious.
Great experience as usual!
We always expect and receive good service and food at Clyde’s. This is a very consistent restaurant.
We had a lovely experience - food quality, service and environment. We also enjoyed learning the Clyde Group story.
Food isn’t worth the price. Plus our server didn’t give us our refills even though we asked for it. This place isn’t worth it.
It was good
A very enjoyable brunch. We arrived early before our reserved time, but they were able to seat us immediately. The staff are very friendly, the service excellent and the meal plentiful and delicious. We definitely will return.
Food was great. The Brussels spr
The food was delicious and the service was nice. Hubby and I enjoyed a very nice lunch together.
Great time at Clyde's. Food was great as was the service!
What a wonderful find! We both had the eggs Benedict Benedict and it was awesome! A little Prosecco on the side for a little late brunch. The staff and Service was top notch. Can’t wait to go back again
Great food and a friendly staff in a nice ambience.
Great food, great atmosphere, as always.
I've always enjoyed having lunch with my friends at Clyde's in Reston. The menu offers plenty of delicious choices and the wait staff, in particular, is terrific. They're friendly and committed to making their guests' dining experience a pleasure.
This restaurant needs to be closed and completely renovated. It has been updated in the 30 years I have been coming here. It's not to clean either. When you lift up the salt and pepper shakers they stick to the table and there are stains underneath. Eating out is all about the service and I don't think we have ever had a server quite like ours. He wasn't rude, but he just didn't care one way or the other. Made our whole experience quite uncomfortable and a waste of our time and money. Until they clean this place up and get rid of servers like this we will not be back.
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch with friends. Great service and good food. Highly recommend the Reuben sandwich, smoked salmon avocado toast and the corned beef hash with poached eggs.
Only too bad that Clyde's no longer has oysters. And their dessert menu has become restricted and uninteresting.
Simply average. Not really what I expected coming back to Clydes for the first time after about 3 years. When I choose bratwurst as my entree there's a problem. The menu was a bit all over the place and seemed to be a bit heavy on sandwiches. I had a beet salad which was fine and the sausage as my entree. Also fine. Nothing really stood out. The $10 milkshake was good, but not so different from something I could get at Shake Shack / Chik Fil A / Steak N Shake. Not really clear what justified the $10. In any case, nothing was really bad about Clydes, it was just "meh". The ambiance was the best part and between the lighting, sparsely filled booths and halloween decorations, it frankly just looked like it was on the verge of shutting its doors. To be clear, some of this may be COVID related, so I'll just offer this as constructive criticism in hopes that on my next visit, I'll see the Clydes I used to know and love.
Service was very good. I had the salmon dish with rice pilaf mixed with vegetables. It was delicious.
Outstanding lunch outing! Quality and variety of food choices were excellent; atmosphere superb! Service was prompt, pleasant and very courteous. Clyde’s also provided discount code for garage parking which practically made parking free--$1 for three hours! Clyde's is always a great choice to eat at; and today was no exception!
So nice to be dining outside in this beautiful weather! Food was excellent and service great as always. Look forward to the next time at Clyde's.
The food we ordered was of high quality and presented well. The wait staff was attentive and efficient.
Great dinner celebrating 3 birthdays!
Was nice being outside and enjoyed the dinner .. service was great but salmon portion was small for dinner portion at the price
Great outdoor space, always a great menu with options for all diners. Service was slow, which is happening more and more in restaurants given the labor shortage.
Had a great time with my friends
The grill chicken salad with ancient grains that I ordered was tasty.
