Clyde's of Reston
Clyde's at Reston Town Center has mahogany and leather, antique model planes, boats and equestrian artifacts. Outdoor dining next to the Pavilion April thru October. American-style saloon menu.
It was a great time at Clyde’s, always!!
Our waitress gave recommendations. She was great had lots of energy, kept our glasses full. Our table was ready on time. The food was delicious.
This is a glorious place to comfortably spend a late lunch with a friend. It was after rush, so no one was hustling us out of our booth, the service was excellent as always, and the sound levels allowed us to talk without having to shout and hear without having to strain. Highly recommended!
Post valentine’s celebration awesomeness. Jonathan our server was great. Love the truffle mac n’ cheese with my 20 oz steak. Wife loved the seafood o mare. Thnx.
Took over 2 hours for dinner and dessert. Wasn’t that crowded so not sure why...
We had a great Valentines Day dinner. The food, service and ambience was terrific.
Food was amazing and our server (Carmen) was top notch. Definitely a return customer.
We enjoyed a Valentine’s Day dinner at Clydes! Our server was excellent and had a beautiful smile! The food was tasty, especially the chocolate chip bread pudding!
Very nice upscale dining experience— their DC location is much nicer, but they did a nice job at this additional location. Give it a try, it’s good eating— ah, those crab cakes, so good!
We celebrated two family birthdays The food was bland and mostly over cooked. The corned beef hash was like baby food , it had no taste and was smothered in tasteless steak sauce awful. All the potatoes were so over cooked, uneatable. The biscuits and gravy were way over cooked. Not sure there was vodka in the Bloody Mary.
The server's attention to the table was somewhat lacking.
there was a huge table of 14-16 teenagers having dinner before a sadie hawkins dance. nice kids but loud. maybe put a table like that in a place where less guests are effected??
otherwise, this place rocks. great management, service and quality of food. try it you wont be disappointed.
Good menu, delicious food, great service!
I'm not a "best ever" type person, but I can't recall ever having better clam chowder. The portions were enough; no too little, not too much. And the atmosphere was great for a long conversation.
Consistently good food at great prices! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
We were on time but they sat us 10 minutes late. Our server was terrible. My drink was always empty and we constantly had to ask a different server for help. It’s been about five years since I’ve been to this restaurant I can’t say that I would go back
Food was very good and so was the service. There was a very large/loud party in the section we were in sitting in. I have to say, it put a small damper on our dinner. Other than that, all was well.
Wonderful Saturday evening date with my husband and young grandson, 4 years. Great adult and kids menu! We had a window to watch the ice skating. Love this venue and the food was yummy!
We gathered for a long overdue friends catch up lunch. Our server was patient while we decided what to order. The food was very good. We ordered sandwiches/burgers & one brunch item. Clyde’s remains consistent with good food for reasonable prices!
Noisy. Fish and chips were burned. Had to peel off some of the breading to make it edible.
I was surprised the fires were over cooked. My family was not impressed with the food. Most said “it was okay”. I expected for the price I paid, they would say it was very good. They used to be very good ALL the time. I have been telling people i wasn’t impressed with the food or the service. Our server was not attentive to our needs like refilling our drinks or giving us utensils for our dessert.
It was a great birthday dinner
Good solid comfort food as always. Had the first rate steak salad.
All things considered, easily the best restaurant in Reston. Mainstay of the Town Center.
Clyde’s has always been a favorite. Food is good. Seemed a little slow today and the restaurant was almost empty.
Wasn’t as good as I expected. As someone who has been to this restaurant before I didn’t enjoy it this time around.
Carmen our waitress was excellent
The hostesses were incredible friendly and welcoming. Then our first server Erica was abysmal. We waited at least 10 mins for her to greet us, we gave her our full order when she finally did (drinks, appetizer and entrees) but then we sat there waitingfor our drinks which didn’t come and finally she stops at our table to say “they’re out of the strip, do you want a different steak.” No apology. When I didn’t have an immediate answer, she said she’d come back and just left. I then asked the hostess if we could move sections / get different server because things were so bad. The hostess promptly sent a manager (who happened to be the GM) and he was very apologetic and moved us. Our next server TJ made a point to tell us that Erica is the closer and one of the best servers. He then told us he’s been stuck fixing other servers mistakes all night. The GM (I have his card somewhere but can’t remember his name at the moment) made sure to bring us our drinks we had yet to receive and offered to comp our appetizer. TJ came by to get our order again including my replacement pick. A little while later TJ informed us that the GM was just going to take care of us for the night and had rung in our order and everything. We’d asked TJ for a refill of my husband’s coke but it never came until we asked the GM later. Our wait stretched on and on with both TJ and the GM wandering past our table checking to see if our entrees had made it out yet. GM came by and informed us in his words “we really dropped the ball” because NOBODY had rung our entrees in. Finally the food came,my husband’s steak was medium instead of medium rare but we were hungry! The GM let us know he was comping our meal and giving us a gift card to come back. We appreciated his effort. Later we left $40 which should have gone to GM or hostess but TJ snatched it up saying they couldn’t have it. He claimed he’d been serving 20 years and had been there longer than most managers but didn’t know the Chinatown location.
I was very satisfied with the chicken and French fries. I was disappointed with the cheese tray. The bread was excellent but the cheese was mediocre. It was a good place to eat and have a conversation.
Not the best meal I've had there. The Cuban sandwich was good at best and service was a little slow but polite.
Waitress did not bring us bread. She got my food incorrect. She got my drink incorrect.
Always great and reliably great service ! Classic ambiance
I always enjoy the atmosphere at Clyde’s. I was happy with the food and cocktails. However, during this visit, the service was extremely slow and less than personable. Given that it was late and the restaurant was relatively empty, I would’ve expected more attentive service. I would go back again only because of past experience, not my most recent visit.
Always a consistent meal! Brunch is very good
Unfortunately service much slower than usual. Manager accommodated slow service with comp beverage... Food was scrumptious! Best deviled eggs anywhere! Pork chop was perfect, so was the duck with excellent root veggie selection. Parking a definite walk that seems longer in inclement weather . Clyde’s is still a solid choice . Price is fair and ambiance and booth seating is great.will be back.
Our friends from Cape Cod said the crab cakes they ordered were the best they've ever had!
Decor could use a refresh, but still the go-to for interesting, solid cooking at affordable prices.
