Tyson Corner Clyde's has been a wonderful restaurant for a great many years. We couldn't miss out on dining there one more time before they closed their doors. There were a few hickups in our evening because of that. My dining partner asked for Wild Turkey and ginger ale but received something he couldn't name. He went back to the bar with it and complained and was told they had temporarily run out but found him some while he stood there. The restaurant had run out of all chicken so my first three menu choices were quickly crossed out. Despite these two things, the service was very good, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was what we like. When we told the maitre d' that we had often frequented the restaurant, he brought us over a very nice coffee table book about how Clyde's does business. I'd love to say I would recommend but, alas, they are no more. One will have to dine at any other Clyde's or Clyde's associated restaurants across DC and Maryland.

Since it was the last night they were open, they were running out of lots of food and drinks. But we managed to have a great meal, with some tasty cocktails, and say goodbye to a local landmark.

It was the last night before the restaurant closed for good, to be torn down for redevelopment, and the service was a little chaotic. The food was as good as ever. Here's hoping that Clyde's opens a new Tysons Corner location soon.

Last day February 4. The restaurant is being torn down to make room for new development. It was unique and will be missed.

This was my second time at this location. I remember having more menu choices and faste service the first time I was there. However, I should say that it was the last day the location was open for business due to development in the area. We were seated next to the fireplace and by a water fountain so we lucked out. My friends enjoyed the 3-egg omelette and I had the runner's breakfast. We were all happy with the choices except it seemed like it took about an hour from the time we were seated to the time we got our food. Anyway, we enjoyed the ambiance and the company. It is also very good for families!

After 30 years we had to have a last meal at Clydes Tysons. It was total bedlam and reminded me of the early days at Clydes. Hate to see them closing their doors and hope they will reopen in one of the new buildings. They will be missed!!!
