    Clyde was great and as advertised, friendly, casual, fun decor and great place to celebrate wife's birthday while in DC. Food was great, we had a mix of steak and seafood and free dessert for birthday. Tables are tightly packed if you are not in booth. We had a great time.

    We are long-time Clyde’s customers and have always enjoyed our experience. On our last visit, however, the server took nearly 15 minutes to take our drink order, the food was not hot at all and the bloody mary’s were marred by clam juice in with the tomato juice. I don’t think this was disclosed on the menu for the sake of customers with shellfish allergies (like me)it should be. Not sure we would go back to the restaurant any time soon. Very disappointed,

    Enjoyed dinner at the Georgetown location. Great crab cake - ordered a single to split as an appetizer. Also enjoyed the catfish and the shrimp pasta.

    I go with a friend at least once a month, and have done for the last 10 years. This time, I felt that our server was aggressive, not asking about allergies , interrupting us for no reason, giving us our bill before we were finished. She reached in front of us. The food has been much better- basic cheeseburger, but over done, with no taste. And she was rude. This was a disappointing evening - 5:30 pm. Should have been better.

    Large party, end of the service period nobody's favorite tables to serve. That great exception to mthe rule was at Clyde's! We were genuinely welcomed by the host. Hd atop of the shelf server and he had a newbie shadowing who" looks like he'll make it!" Food was outstanding in every category!

    We enjoyed a Father's Day Brunch at Clyde's of Georgetown. Our family of four was seated immediately and we dove into the bowl of hummus and cucumbers (the waiter supplied extra bread and veggies) and a dozen briny Pink Moon oysters. My husband's fried chicken salad was sweet but plentiful and tasty, and my son's Eggs Benedict were devoured - eggs cooked to perfection. I enjoyed a Steak Salad with delicious medium-rare beef, and my daughter loved the grilled chicken Caesar. The service was prompt, unobtrusive and accommodating- an excellent experience!
