Really nice ambiance and good food. We especially enjoyed the price range on the menu. At this location you can actually have a nice dinner near the Verizon Center and not have to spend a fortune if you don't want to.

Food was good. Our server might have been new. He struggled with opening our wine and actually cut himself. It took a long time to get our beverages and food. We had to ask about it to expedite it.
We were going to Verizon center so the convenience factor was important.

We were attending a concert later in the evening at the Verizon Center. Luckily, we had dined at Clyde's two years prior and I made reservations for dinner before the concert. We had a very nice booth and enjoyed our meal. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The noise volume increased as the larger tables were filled. This is my only complaint.

The manager was not responsive when I went to complain. It was my daughter’s birthday and their service and attention was disappointing to us. We had to ask for everything: drink refill, coffee cake, and even change. The waitress rounded our check amount up so she wouldn’t have to bring us coins for change. And I had to ask her several times for the change. The amount of change would have been over a 35% tip, so there shouldn’t have been an assumption that she could keep it. From minor details to the basic service, we were very disappointed.

Took advantage of the happy hour raw bar on two separate occasions! Oysters were awesome; appropriately shucked and served nice and cold! Will definitely be back!

Excellent all around experience... my first time. A party of four and each one stated that their selection was delectable... my word... but everyone enjoyed their food. We all want come back.

Had a great meal after the Caps Hockey game. At 9:30PM the restaurant was not as crowded so the noise level was lower. Great meal, great service and location. Server was well versed on menu and was quite attentive to details.

Usually a great place before CAPs game but due to the later start time and the holiday parties ,they overbooked. We were seated 20 minutes late and had to Rush dinner and were seated near the bar area downstairs
The hostess was not experienced enough to handle the overbooking
She put names on a stickie not in any order that other the staff could comprehend
We had to stand in front of the hostess desk to get her to seat us
A very stressful experience

We celebrated a birthday here and the host, manager, and server were all very attentive and made the birthday girl feel very special. The Clyde’s restaurant group has consistently excellent food, and this restaurant is beautiful. I recommend sitting in the conservatory area upstairs....lovely atmosphere!

We use Clydes @ Gallery Place often for business meals prior to seeing the Capitals Hockey games (just down the escalator).
The food and service is consistently high quality. I love the newest menu change with some better steak options. "T" was a great server.
The upstairs seating us much better for conversations and the down stairs area is better if want a vibrant bar feel.

We had an Open Table reservation for 5:45 pm. We arrived at 5:40 pm. We were not seated until 6:08 pm. There were other people with reservations who were having the same problem. Clearly, they had overbooked and/or over seated, but many people with reservations were not happy.

Filet was requested as medium but served rare and cold...not worth $40. Waiter was not attentive or knowledgeable of menu and reservation time was not honored. Didn’t get seated until 30 minutes after reservation time along with several other guests.

Have been here several times and enjoy the ambience and convenient location but was very disappointed in the service. We ordered drinks, appetizers and meals so were there for over an hour during which time our water glasses were not refilled once, a meal order was incorrect and the correction not brought out. Finally server said she could have it ready for us to pick up later that evening - we declined. We were not charged for that meal but it was minimal (a salad) - would have expected the restaurant to at least comp a drink for that individual who did not get her correct meal. This restaurant has a lot of potential but from this visit and others, it is obvious they need to work on the service.

This is a good restaurant. In our 2 week holiday we visited 3 times, and took some froends twice. We had different food each time, the lobster when available was good and freat value.
Pork with schiracha was particularly nice and my husband loved the spahetti meatballs.
The waiters were attentive and good fun.

We were in DC for a wedding and just needed some place close to our hotel. The menu looked promising so we gave it a try. It turned out to be a great choice. The food was delicious, the service great, and the noise level acceptable.

The hospitality team was pleasant and timely. I enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer. I felt the entree salad that I order was quite small for an entree. The lobster that my friend ordered was overccooked/rubbery. We informed the waiter to inform the cook. But we figured for $18 no surprise.

The atmosphere in Clyde's of Gallery Place is amazing! The ambiance and warmth of the servers and hosts/hostesses was nothing short of spectacular. The service is normally excellent, but during my last visit it was slacking slightly. I won't hold that truth as a standard...since I frequent Clyde's and now what excellent service they normally provide.

I really enjoyed my time at Clyde’s and I plan to return. I ordered the Korean Steak Tacos and they were better than what I expected. I got the orange refresher, which was tasty with a nice kick to it. The side Caesar salad could have used more dressing. The restroom was clean as well.
