Hi, the food and restaurant are always great. Our server was great, but it took forever to get our dinner. She knew we were going to the capitals game. She did not seem to be in a hurry to get us our food delivered so we could get to the game on time. We were there at 5:20 PM and walked out at 6:55 PM. I know you are busy, but on game nights, I would think there would be some sense of urgency. Thanks.

I'll start with the fact that our server was amazing. Very attentive and very personable. I wish I had taken a picture of our wings. I have never in my life seen wings so small. They were about an inch in size each. When the plate came out we both stared at each other and thought it was a joke. All 10 wings together we're about the size of three normal wings at any other restaurant. Aside from the side wings my Reuben sandwich was very large and very tasty. I've been going to Clyde's restaurants for many many years and overall this one just isn't the same. Definitely not the high quality I've come to expect from Clyde's.

In the steps of the Old Ebbit Grill, Clyde’s has all the fern, wood and brass a heart could desire. The food is good and portions are very generous. The service is also quite good. A fine restaurant for business meetings and parties and for a pleasant unhurried dinner with your spouse or your friends. Prices are reasonable.

The food; Shrimp and Grits, Blacken Salmon and Shrimp Linguini were delish and our server, Brandon very professional and attentive. We always enjoy our visits to Clydes of Gallery Place.

Sorry that you no longer carry Clyde's label wines. We also noticed that the prices have risen significantly. Services improved considerably during the course of our meal. Noise level AWFUL! (We are repeat customers.)

Perfect for dinner before a concert at Capital One. Food is consistently good and service was friendly, if not a little slow, but he had the entire sunroom to himself. Would come again and again.

6 pm on a Friday evening. Calamari starter was large, tangy and delicious. Catfish for me, steak frite for her, both great. Service was friendly and thoughtful. Wife bypassed the special cocktails and loved her appletini. My IPA was perfect. In and out in 55 minutes, as we had tickets for Ford,s Theater. Can’t wait to go back.

The clientele was not engaged in eating but more likely crime. They were conducting nefarious meetings and on their cell phones the entire time. We felt like we were extras in a documentary. It was very uncomfortable and we will not be back to this DC location again

Clydes is a great place to eat - whether it is a business lunch or a romantic dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is always professional and friendly. They validate parking so that will save you a couple of dollars. The food is always delicious.

The food is pretty consistent, service is chill, and the "musicians" outside are the only downside to the ambiance. Everyone loves Clyde's crab cakes, and the drinks are always strong.

We always enjoy dining at Clyde’s. The decor of each restaurant is different and carefully curated. The Gallery Place site is a mix of Americana, sports, politics and history. The ambiance is both elegant and relaxed. Excellent server who recommended the crab dip starter. Other standouts were shrimp and grits, steak frits, and Reuben sandwich.

We had a delightful experience at Clyde’s. Good food and excellent service. Very noisy because of an earlier hockey game but that was more the exception than the rule. One of our party was celebrating his 86th birthday so server Will, joined by another server, brought cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. Made our friend feel like a million dollars.

We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Our table was ready at our reservation time, the restaurant was lovely and our waiter took excellent care of us. The food was also great!

Salmon wasn't as good as in previous years (dry). Pumpkin pie should be allowed to come to room temperature. But Kimberly was a wonderful server

This was an excellent dining experience that made all of our day! The food was outstanding, better than even previous years' Thanksgiving dinners, especially the stuffing, which I usually don't like or eat. I ate every bite of stuffing. Dessert was also excellent, with the a la mode. Great selection of entrees and desserts! You made the Thanksgiving for all three of us! The decorations were lovely as well. The only problem was the parking validation. Although the person at the desk said she had validated parking, it did not work at the machine, and we were unaware that we had to go to the attendant window to have it recognized. Better communication of this fact is needed. Thanks, Clyde's. Hoping that you have a Christmas dinner with a selection between Beef and Turkey! See you then!!

I made reservations days in advance to dine at this restaurant. When I arrived, I was seated upstairs in the back far from everyone else. When the server arrived, he brought drinks and meals to the other diners completely ignoring me. At that point, I left. This is disrespectful and no way to treat customers.

The food was amazing and our waitress was one of the nicest servers I have ever had. We ordered the hot honey wings breaded and they also might be the best chicken wing flavor I have ever had. SO GOOD!!! The crab cake was also very delicious. Will definitely be back.

I was disappointed that my meal came out with items I never asked for, was not on the menu as an expected item. While they delayed our departure they gave us a $2.25 inconvenience fee for some thing I never ordered. Needless to say, I couldn’t even eat the “do over”.

I had the bacon cheeseburger. Medium was perfect. Very juicy. My friend also had the bacon cheeseburger. It came without bacon. When this discovery was noted to the server after several bites, the server brought a plate of bacon. Nice sentiment, but a bit late to rectify. A nicer touch would have been to change the charge to a cheeseburger. Energetic atmosphere.

Many thanks to our hostess who gave us a seating option in a less energetic part of the restaurant. Crab cake remains the favored selection. Fries were nicely prepared. A lively spot on a holiday.
