A group of friends that occasionally get together for outings decided to have lunch at Clyde’s. It was a happy occasion. The food was good, and our waiter, Ben, was excellent. We will consider doing it again at Clyde’s.

Reservation via Open Table gave us immediate seating. Waiter was prompt and attentive. Food arrived in a reasonable time and we did not feel rushed. Was very pleased with the entire experience. We will return.

Nice restaurant and setting. We had 7:30pm reservations on a Saturday night and were seated by 7:45; good. We ordered a couple of appetizers at $12 each. The crab and artichoke dip tasted good but it was served with warm house bread instead of brioche. The young man who served it to us left before we realized the mistake and our waitress could not be found. The main course was served by another young man who quickly departed. The food was very good. Our table setting was missing a pepper shaker and we were hoping our waitress would stop by to ask about our satisfaction and any needs. She did not revisit our table until several minutes after we finished our meals, asking if we wanted dessert.

My recommendation to Clyde's is to direct their waiters/waitresses to check their tables after the appetizer service and within a few minutes of the the main course service.

The rockfish was about half the size it should have been. I have never ever seen such a small portion. The pesto chicken was not good so I didn't even eat it. We actually spent over $400 there for a party of 6. The other dinners were good but there weren't enough options either. THe waiter was super nice tho.

The food was excellent and our server (I believe it was Tim) was incredible. Very attentive to my in laws (who don't hear or get around as well as they would like). Wonderful view and an overall great experience- thanks!

This is unfortunately the second time in six months that I've been to Clyde's and the service was a bit inattentive. To top it off, it was my birthday (which we put in our reservation, but it was never acknowledged). Considering the restaurant wasn't very busy and many servers were just standing around talking to each other, it took us over 10 minutes to get any water (or even a greeting from someone other than the host). We had to flag someone down to get water (this happened last time we were here as well). We almost got up and left. Once someone noticed us, everyone was very affable and nice, but it still took quite a long time to put our order in and for our check to get processed. It just seemed like there was very little communication overall between staff members (staff offered to get our check for us 3 times when someone had already taken our credit card). The food was very good, as per usual, but another sub-par experience with the service will make me think twice before I return, sadly. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Columbia, so I'm sad to have to reconsider coming here in the future.

They had our table for us within about 15 minutes of getting there; not bad. Food was good, not great. Waitress had too many tables and seems to be in a big hurry when ever she came to the table.

I was very disappointed in Clydes this time aroundnn and unfortunately the last couple time as well...I come all the time but this was off big time. 2 ppl had to send the food back. The appetizer we ordered never came. Our server was forgetful and seemed be elsewhere. We had to ask for water and bread. On top of it all she seem very annoyed to have our table....we were unfortunate enough to see her have an incident with another table. The whole experience was not one I care to repeat...sad day for the Clyde's brand.

Menu somewhat depleted in terms of "old standards" and is now more in touch with trendy dishes limiting the traditional good food for which they were years agi, Still good however, but harder to choose.

All of us enjoyed the food. We started with the mussels and calamari which were excellent. Mussels were prepared differently with some extra cheese on top. I would recommend the salmon and the rockfish. Even the pasta with chicken was good and you were not overwhelmed by a hugh dish of pasta that you couldn't finish. It would be nice to have a little larger menu but the items are all dependably good choices.

The last time we were at Clyde's was many, many years ago. We decided to give it another try for Easter Brunch. The food was amazing, as was the service. We will be going back more often as it's close to where we live, and they have excellent burgers.

Always consistent, our family has a very good experience here for Easter brunch. Yesterday our server expertly handled our large party, including 3 small children. We came last year but this year bettered that visit due to our servers attentive service and the addition of a hostess who went around to all the tables and made sure everyone had what they needed, asked if the Easter Bunny had stopped by, etc. Its those little things that make all the difference and it didn’t go unnoticed, so well done Clyde’s, we will certainly be back.

Nice venue. Quick seating with my open table reservation. We had four different appetizers and everyone liked theirs but the mussels were the star. They were done correctly and flavorful
Four different entrees all done pretty well. The baked rockfish was baked a bit too long but all were happy with their choices.
Service was very good food mostly a four out of five but one ding. All in all a good place to go. I will return.

I made a reservation on open table without difficulty. We needed to adjust the time for friends’ dinner. I called the restaurant 30 minutes before our reservations to adjust your time without difficulty. We were seated by the window and we all commented how chilly the restaurant was feeling. Over the course of the evening the temperature of the restaurant was adjuster to a more comfortable level. Our server was pleasant and friendly. Drinks and water arrived in a timely fashion and we all enjoyed our food together. I haven’t been to Clyde’s in a while since I find it noisy and crowded. It seems that at 6:30 the families are finished and the location of our table was suitable for conversation

I’ve been regularly going to Clyde’s of Columbia for 25 years. It was very busy during my last visit on March 25th. It took too long to receive our food. So much so that the server, Julia, had to make the dessert item herself!!! Julia was the bright spot in a disappointing dining experience.

The food was excellent and was served hot. Unfortunately it took an hour to be served. Not sure what the holdup was. Service was not that great - the server kind of disappeared after our first round of coffee.

Service was good and very nice as always. Food is quite a hit and miss. I’ve been going to Clyde’s for dinners with family and friends for two years now. I ordered the seafood linguine last Saturday. Ribs was good for appetizer. The shrimp was not fresh, tastes weird like it’s been thawed or sitting for a longer time. I asked my husband to try it and he said the same thing. His fried fish po boi sandwich was too greasy. Very busy.

The noise level in the restaurant was so bad, I had to lean across the table to hear what my friend was saying.
My lunch was fine, but my friend got the Reuben and the corned beef was so tough that she could hardly bite into the sandwich.
She told the server, but nothing was done.
