I really like Clyde's Mark Center. When they are running on all eight cylinders, they are amazing; excellent service and perfect timing from the kitchen. In fact, the excellent service teams make the just good to mediocre teams tough to bear. We've experienced so-so teams in the past, and we experienced a barely-good team this visit. All of the service team except the manager were earnest and pleasant--they unfortunately were dealing with a slow kitchen (despite the restaurant not being busy) and a lack of experience/training. Usually I can count on Clyde's servers to have a solid knowledge of the available wines. Not tonight. Add to that a "special wine" Tuesday featuring three (3) white and three (3) red wines. At 7:15pm they were already out of one of the wines. When I complained to the manager, she said that the menu said the wines were limited quantity. When I told her the menu did not, she went and retrieved a menu to make her point--and she then said "oh, it does not say limited." But she then said "we should have said that" and dismissed my request for a replacement to that bottle, instead offering a glass of the house wine at happy hour price. It just rubbed me the wrong way, setting a poor tone for the visit. I am tolerant of when things go wrong when a team is trained, trying and busy, not so much when the issues are avoidable and the management does not know how to properly engage in service recovery. I really like Clyde's Mark Center--and will like it even more once all of the teams consistently perform.

As long-time & frequent customers, I commend you on maintaining excellent choices that the chefs are even willing to modify according to individual tastes. I would love to see halibut & lamb included on the choices & some less pasta (which I can either make at home or go to any Italian restaurant). Exception is the magnificent Shrimp Buccatoni, which we have ordered 3 times. Also your bread is similarly outstanding - where might I purchase a whole loaf?!

Need to register a complaint about your new menu format - It is difficult to "surf" all over the paper because it is not as well organized as the format you have used for so many years - that menu served to underscore Clyde's as an informal, yet classy establishment & the listings were orderly, while the new paper & format recalls cheap crab restaurants at the beach!

I suppose we will continue to endure that new menu, so long as you maintain food quality & helpful, cheerful service staff....

Fabulous! Service was attentive and our waitress provided excellent recommendations for wine and described the specials in a way that they sold themselves. I always have a great experience at Clyde’s. My only complaint is that our main entree arrived before we were even half way through the sweet potato soup appetizer which is so typical of American restaurants rushing you through a meal.

My husband ordered the salmon entree- he thought the salmon was over cooked and the accompanying vegetables medley was bland to tasteless. It was his birthday so it was disappointing. We had been regular dinners at the Tyson’s Clydes; unfortunately Mark Center does not seem to maintain the same standard.

As always, Clyde's service and food was outstanding. Three of us got the lobster and they were done to perfection and they happily substituted veggies for the fries. My husband got the liver and loved it. There were six of us and all were pleased. It's a great place for a group to have a meal and still be able to hear each other. Coming back again this week!

Lobster ‘special’ is running for the next month so we decided to try it- about $19 for a whole lobster, 1 1/4 lb or so... less than I spent in Maine and Nova Scotia this past summer! We started with a dozen raw oysters, about $1.50 apiece during happy hour. Tried two types, both delicious: the Wellfleet Harbor were more briny than the New Zealand which were slightly sweeter. We had a small mixup over the wine selected but staff apologized profusely and we ended up happy in the end. Lobster were cooked just right, all in all a very enjoyable dinner.

Verygood food, attentive service, and reasonable prices made for an enjoyable dinner at Clyde's Mark Center. My wife and I asked for salads that were not on the menu and the waitress said the chef could prepare exactly what we requested. The salmon and swordfish entrees were delicious, as was the basket of bread served upon seating. The bottle of Clyde's Label Chardonnay was remarkably good, particularly with a price of only $26.00 per bottle.

We have been to this Clyde's location at least 20 times, but our latest visit was disappointing. Service was slow from bringing the initial drinks to bringing the final coffee (which arrived lukewarm). Instead of the usual loaf of bread for the table, our party of three got four small slices.

Family outings are always great. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We all had the lobster special. The lobster was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. The cheesecake for dessert was the highlight of our time there.

Good food-especially seasonal specials like lobster and lobster entrees. Crab cakes are always good. A decent place to have conversations -- noise level not a distracting factor as in some restaurants; however; when the rooms are full (it's popular) it can be a bit noisy, but conversations without raising voice levels are still possible.
Open table discount was much appreciated!

The service was great. Clydes has some experienced staff we've interacted with before, and she was training a new staff person. They were delightful; great about seating us in a spot that worked, delivered food promptly, refilled drinks without prompting, and checked back often. They added an element of fun to the experience. It was my friends birthday, and they offered her a free desert. I like the ambiance of the restaurant. It is "handsome:" Dark wood, casual and sporty decoration, with grounds defined beautifully. The noise level is low, even when crowded, so we did enjoy conversation with our meal.

I had only 2 problems. 1) the first chair i sat in broke...well the legs separated from the seat! Rather than take it away, they just moved it to another table. I suggested they might want to pull it out of service, but they thought it was fine once they pushed all the parts back together. 2) the food wasn't prepared very well. I got the roasted chicken, something i'd enjoyed before. It was dry, as was the rice that accompanied it.

I would go there because i like the atmosphere and the quiet, but I'm not sure i would go there again for a special occasion or when i wanted a special meal.

Horrible service - got drink, appetizer and food order wrong. Long wait times and took forever to get check. No manager around at all to mention service too. Waitress must have had a bad day as she spilled two orders on different customers at different times. Luckily it was our table.

Stopped in Saturday nite for an impromptu dinner and while I was dining my friends texted me to join us for appetizers and dessert. Clyde's was so accommodating to change our table from two to six. We had a great time catching up and enjoying the Maine Lobster, Atlantic Salmon, appetizers and desserts. We forgot about this great restaurant and bar but now it will be a regular on our dining list. Just as an extra we were pleasantly entertained by an Award winning Men's Choir who surprised the guests with a beautiful melody. What a great fun nite!

This was the second time I’ve been there. Decided to give it another try because the first time wasn’t as good as friends described. Anyway, the experience did not improve, the menu is interesting and the food tasted good. But the wait for the food, from when we ordered until it arrives at our table, was just way too long. Took 45 minutes for our food to arrive on both of my visits. My advice is that, don’t come here when you’re hungry, however the all the food we ordered were all good.
