Lovely location and rooms. Food was good, but service left a little to deserve as there were long spells between ordering drinks and/or food before it appeared. That said, the wait staff was very pleasant and friendly and we will return as we always enjoy Clyde’s.
Good food. Great bread
Took forever to receive food. When it came, one of the dishes, the mushroom risotto had obviously been sitting awhile. It was lukewarm and congealed. Still ate half of it because I didn't want to make a scene with family present. Worst dish I ever ate at a Clyde's and I've been to 'em all in D.C. area.
The food was very average. I had blackened catfish that was extremely dry. My colleague had crab cakes — too much filler. The server was really bad — no personality and not helpful. The restaurant has great ambiance and it is kid friendly but not much else.
The menu seems to be updated. Service continues to be held to a high standard . The food was ample in portion and delicious.
The food; the service; and the atmosphere was very good!
Ate pre theater on a Friday night. Noisy bar crowd adjacent in the patio room. Would have preferred if they had held court elsewhere. Food is always good. Been going to Clyde’s 10+ years.
we had truly miserable service. We waited for everything, even the ketchup for a our french fries which were cold when they brought it. Our reuben did not have the sauce (Russian dressing) on it and was try but rather than wait again we didn't even mention it.
The oysters were outstanding like always
Historically a nice place to dine. However, the food on this visit was mediocre to poor. Burgers had been cooked so long that they and were hard and dry (ordered medium rare) - closer to hockey puck consistency than the juicy burger that I remember getting at Clyde's on previous visits. French fries were cool and hard. This poor quality food reflects a kitchen that doesn't seem to care about quality.
Great atmosphere at all Clyde's restaurants. This was a business meal and the amount of privacy needed was perfect. Lunch was great. Service for the most part was excellent. Just had to wait a little too long for the check. Lunch for 3 was a bit pricey, even with the expectation that it is a higher end restaurant.
Clydes is a repeat when attending an annual conference. The food is good, restaurant great place for multiple types of dining and menu offers variety. We had a large group which was accommodated by 2 servers; however, they didn't seem to coordinate nor clear the table as should be with this type of establishment. We I return, yes.
This restaurant has many different rooms and each has its own unique atmosphere. The sound level makes it easy to talk. Food and service are both very good. We really enjoyed the brunch menu.
Food and service were good enough.
However, the enterance of parking lot was hard to find. Please set any sign for the first visitor.
Celebrated my birthday with family. The oysters were wonderful. Our entrees were pretty good. Our waiter Will was awesome. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Nice nautical themed restaurant with good sized portions. I wouldn't recommend the Bavette beef but everything else we has was good.
Very tasty. Our waiter was very attentive. Clyde's is one of our family favorites!
Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food.
It was my birthday and I had a group of almost 20 people. The waiter was kind, patient, and happy to help us! We felt so welcomed and had a great time! Thank you Clydes staff for your patience with my friends and I!
Clydes is one of our favorite restaurants. Food is great quality including apps, lunch and dinner- We have eaten there with a group of eight people for Sunday Brunch and the restaurant was able to accommodate us with no problems. Same experience was had with a large dinner party. It's quiet so we can talk to one another without having to shout. One of our favorite dinner's is the liver and onions with creamed spinach and mash potatoes. Liver is very tender
Waiter very distracted & unengaged. Food good as usual.
I like this restaurant. This past Sunday our waitress seemed to be too overwhelmed and we ended up waiting for a very long time for her to bring us the bill, she forgot my daugther's juice and her dessert that came with her meal, so we had to remind her. Loved the food though, as always.
Nice place to have dinner, reasonable price for excellent food! Vote for beef stew!
Excellent meal and excellent service. So nice to go to a restaurant that is quiet, great food, good ambiance, great service, and is an occasion to dress up just a bit.
Server didn't seem interested, sat a while with empty glasses, wait to order dinner and desserts.
Clyde’s just keeps on delivering superb dining experiences.
Horrible food and service. I’m convinced they forgot to put in our food order
The staff was great! My personal meal was just okay.
Great neighborhood restaurant.
My server(latino heavy set male) needs to be more couteous and professional . Uniform shirt was stained also. I interacted with hostess, diff server,& front desk staff that were professionals in appearance and verberlly.
Even though it was crowded we got seated at the exact time of our scheduled reservations... everyone was VERY nice... waiter, servers, hostesses and especially Ms. Ali - such a pretty smile and a very pleasant personality.
The lobster bisque had nice chunks of meat but it was more like a soup than a bisque. My lamb shank had good flavor but was slightly dry and needed some salt. The servers were great and helpful.
There is an old section and a new section of the restaurant. We were seated in the old section and it was terrible. The salads was good but the main meal was not good at all. I will never return.
The Ribeye and Shrimp & Grits were flavorful. The artichoke and crab dip was salty sour. The small room crammed with tablecloth tables that my husband and I were stuffed in was disappointing. The woman sitting closer to me than my husband was coughing. I made a reservation expecting to avoid this especially when I noticed that there were normally sized dinning rooms enjoyed by other guests.
love the oysters. Their fried cod fish is delicious.
Pleasant environment and the meals were tasty and creative.
Consistently great service paired with consistently great food. We are a regular customer at this Clydes and always enjoyed the food. Favorites include the oysters, buffalo chicken sandwich (secret dish not on the menu), and sprouts when they have them. Favorite dessert would be the strawberry shortcake
place was a little dark for me, and a little outdated as to design and restaurant decor. carpets need a little cleaning but overall the experience was good. food was ok not extraordinary, we went for brunch. place is kid and family friendy. the service is good , our server is very attentive and great personality. i will be back but maybe next time for dinner or lunch not for brunch.
Clyde's changes their menu daily and also with the seasons. There's always a good selection from among appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. We went for brunch and it's always a good selection to choose from My Eggs Florentine were good, as usual, and the eggs are never overcooked! Their french toast also good. Waitress very nice.
Excellent service and wonderful food
