Clyde's at Mark Center
A wonderful spot for a business lunch. First time at this Clyde’s and I loved it. Food was wonderful, service excellent, ambiance warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend this spot.
The friend fish portions for the fish n chips were very tiny for $15.99
Terrific food and ambience. Service a bit slow but good.
Service was not good, but food and everything was good.
My sons 24th birthday and a celebration of holiday first full time professional job.
The usual good food and good service. Highly recommended
Keeping in mind it was Valentine’s Day, the expectations were not too high as everyplace is crazy. We eat here often, it was not our greatest experience. Everything was just a little off. We were noticing there has been a gradual slide lately. We still like the Mark Center Clyde’s, but went to the Ebbitt last week and the Reston Clyde’s in mid Jan. We may continue to explore.
Superb service, food, and ambiance. A great neighborhood place
Food was good but the service was slow probably because was a busy day.
Valentines Day dinner rang all the bells!
Great food, lovely atmosphere. Service wasn’t as attentive as normal, but it was Valentine’s Day.
We always enjoy our experience at Clyde's. Very classy place from the music they play to the tables for a meal.
We use the Alexandria location weekly. They have half price wine on Tuesday and the dinner and seafood specials are especiallygood and very popular.
Good food and drink. Lively atmosphere!
Need to work on food quality. Fish, of the fish & chips, was poor - mushy cod, obviously long frozen
Have always enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance at Clyde's at Mark Center
We had a wonderful meal. The server was both personable and professional. We ordered our favorites. Artichoke & crab dip was wonderful and the bread that comes with it was just the right accompaniment. I loved the fish & chips, while my BFF said her shrimp & grits was really great.
I love going to Clyde's Mark Center; it has been out go-to restaurant for family occasions for many years.
Great time! Was seated right away, very good service and the right atmosphere.
Great food but terrible service. Their oyster happy hour is phenomenal! That’s the main reason why we go. Drink value is commensurate with the DC area.
Great Sunday brunch by the fireplace. Excellent service w complimentary home made coffee cake to start off the meal. Our meals were delicious. Attentive service. Everything cooked as requested. Nice cappuccino at the end.
We love this place. Good food, service is excellent and we can actually hear each other!! No loud blaring music, just some soft jazz in the background.
Food was first rate and so was service. (Patrick was our server). We had time to spare and we were not rushed and were encouraged to linger on after our meal.
We were very disappointed. The waitress was very slow, one of the dinner orders was incorrect and had to be taken back, food was not warm, and we were in a room that only had three other occupied tables next to kitchen so we felt isolated and it was hard to get attention of waitress. We cut our dinner short rather than linger.
Food was typical for Clyde’s very good... Service was generally good, however, we had made reservations for 4:00pm - well ahead of a dinner rush, yet still had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. And the restaurant was not busy.
First - less than good experience in any Clyde’s. Since this was the first time, and everything else about the meal and service and atmosphere was fine, I will forgive, and certainly will continue. visiting Clyde’s... However, Management should be aware that this type of thing is noticed by their customers.
Went there for a business meal. Was very impressed with the reasonable prices and wide selection (pork, duck, sea food). And the tiramisu dessert was delicious!! The soup was a great appetizer to warm up on a freezing cold day!
My wife and I do a date night once a week. Clyde’s provides the perfect combination of convenience, ambience, service and quality for a great value!!
The service by our waiter, Patrick, was so bad. This is the second time we've experienced that problem with him as our server. He's a super nice guy but he's really slow. It was next to impossible to get him to actually service our table to take our food order, drinks order, refill drinks, etc. Thank goodness that the nice guy who brought our bread stepped up to the plate and took our meal order. My dad's meat was delivered rare (we'd ordered medium) and I was literally waving my arm in the air, trying to get Patrick's attention to fix it. He never once came back to see if we wanted more drinks (we all did) and we only got refills when I, once again, waved my arm wildly in the air. I had the beef stew and it was just okay. My mom's salmon was overcooked. Luckily, my husband's NY strip turned out perfect. Also, our reservations were for 5:30, not a particularly busy time, and the service was so slow that we didn't get our meals until 6:30!!! I want to keep going back to Clyde's but I think we might take a break for a while.
Food was outstanding, server was slow and inattentive preventing a higher score, but her teammates were great picking up her slack. Would eat there again.
Awesome as usual. Delicious food. Terrific service.
Mark Center staff inviting and accommodating. Food arrived promptly. Food presentation and tastes met my expectations. I will visit again. Thank you
Excellent service and excellent food : Chesapeake Bennie amazing.
We have dined at other Clyde's restaurants before and decided to try this one. We were not disappointed. The decorating theme (northwoods cabin) is carried off extremely well, and made the restaurant feel welcoming and cozy, especially for a winter evening. As always, the food was very good. We had the trout and duck. Service was good.
We come here from time to time, and almost always have a great dining experience. However this time, my wife ordered a seafood pasta dish that was described as a bit spicy. To the contrary, it was actually pretty bland, and the pasta was undercooked. She was a bit disappointed.
Disappointed in menu- not up to usual selections. No lobster, for one thing. Just not good selections.
This is our go-to place for lunch with a friend in a wheel chair. It’s great for lingering conversations after a filling meal.
Quality food....quality venue...quality service.
Not very crowded but took a long time for initial service. One entree was heavily salted and the other was particularly average and worthy of diner food and not what we have come to expect from Clyde’s.
Always a pleasant experience, with attentive but not intrusive service and an upscale environment that permits easy conversation. Steak wedge salad offered two tender and delicious steak medallions. My wife's trout was even better than expected, perfectly cooked. Only complaint is that the take-out burger was slightly undercooked. We always know what to expect and will be back to Clyde's.
I have always enjoyed Clyde's! I do think the 'fishing room' booth seats are terribly uncomfortable for my back and I am not sure why but twice we have sat there, and my lower back pays for it every time! I need to remember to be put in another dining room next time!
Always consistently good! Food is fresh and locally sourced as available.
