Mask Usage
We know it is no fun to wear a mask while enjoying a night out, but our staff's safety is no laughing matter.
We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

Great as usual.
This is a really great restaurant and very comfortable for relaxed dining.
My taste buds have not danced like this in a long time! Delicious beverages, Crispy Brussel Sprouts to die for, mouth watering Steak Frites with savory bordelaise, scrumptious arugula salad, and amazing parmesan fries. Very relaxed and spacious atmosphere with friendly waitstaff made for an incredibly memorable evening!
We had Sunday brunch (Belgian waffle with the apple compote and steak and eggs).
The steak was very tender and came out medium rare as requested. The waffle was crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and enjoyed the taste with the apples, whipped cream and sausage. It was not crowded and there was good social distancing. The server was very attentive and very observant of Covid protocols. We will definitely return.
Great service!
Excellent food and server
Food and service was good, but no extra steeps for mom birthday , I have $ 10 open table dinning reward was not take care in my billing ....
I always feel safe eating at Clyde's
People take an adequate amount of precautions and distance. I love the ambiance and interior decorations.
wonderful ambiance - our server was very nice and knowledgeable - great brunch
The staff was by far the most professional that I've encountered.
Great service
The food and service is always dependably great and I feel very safe eating at Clyde’s.
Clyde's has a quiet, romantic atmosphere with fantastic food and great service
Great stuff and a great place to relax and enjoy!
The Mark Center Clyde’s is a longtime favorite and with indoor dining all but banned in DC, it’s a great alternative. As always, the establishment was warm and welcoming, the service friendly snd professional and the food was delicious.
It’s wonderful sharing the entire dining room with just a few other parties. And they turned down the music when asked!
The food, drinks, and service at Clyde's remain at their high standard. The dining rooms are so spacious that they probably didn't need to block tables to keep parties six feet apart. The staff wear masks; guests' temperatures are checked upon arrival; and guests are asked to wear masks when not seated and when conversing with staff. Otherwise, it's just like Clyde's in the "Before Times." We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and especially our friendly server Cindy.
Just GREAT PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!
Great service and food!
My wife and I enjoyed our evening at the Mark Center Clyde's. It was an excellent way to usher in the New Year. The food was superb and the service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful, as always.
The Clyde's restaurant group, a Washington DC institution, has been my favorite for over 50 years starting at the original, Clyde's of Georgetown. The Old Ebbit Grill and Tower Oaks as well as Mark Center locations rank among our favorites. Keep doing great things for another 50 years!!!
Clyde's Mark Center was very attractively decorated for Christmas as always. It was a special treat to eat in the room with the fireplace to begin our New Year's Eve celebration. Their safety practices to avoid health issues are outstanding. I felt very protected for the dining experience. Great service and attention from Cindy. Tasty food as always. The only disappointment was that they no longer have key lime pie as a dessert option. Please reconsider that decision and add it back to the menu. I look forward to having it.
Clyde's has an outstanding kitchen. Having eaten there more than 100 times, the food is always just right. I believe Clyde's is the reference standard for most everything on their menu.
Food was very good, very tasty. Nice place to go to.
We appreciated Clyde's being open on Christmas Eve especially during the pandemic. Everyone was careful about complying with social distancing, washing hands, and wearing masks. Food is always good at Clyde's. All of the workers there had a good disposition despite working on Christmas Eve.
It’s an odd time (COVID) but Clyde’s is consistency good! Their oysters, selection and quality, are unsurpassed.
Outstanding food and service and ambiance. Can’t recommend it enough!
Good food. Attentive waitress. Pleasant atmosphere.
The decor and ambiance is really the hook to this place. It's really cool to walk around and very spacious. However, the room we were in was very loud, not sure if it was the people or just poor sound absorption. The food tasted good and price wasn't too bad, until we got our plates. Portions were very small, which was disappointing. Server was kind when she was there, but didn't seem to check in at the times we needed her. Overall this place looks cool, but there are better places out there for this kind of slight upscale American dining.
The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious!
We LOVE this restaurant! We go often for Brunch - the source of the song, “Afternoon Delights!”
Lunch & dinner are always yummy!
The food is modern! Modern -!!! - try the Steak Salad, their incredible Oyster menu, the Bloody Mary with a Jumbo Shrimp, the consistency of the Bar Mixologists create original and well thought out cocktails! The staff knows their menu - ask about oysters, they know! About specials!about wines by the glass or bottle.
The ambiance can be rustic, elegant, bar scene, or their patio when weather permits! There are specials for those that enjoy dining early, special wine nights...even Trivia Nights!!!
We love this because not only are they are our neighbors! ..we are all friends now.
With admiration for all the do - thank you Clydes!!
Bob Sierralta & Ken Barton
Clydes is always great. It’s consistent and safe. A great place for an early date, brunch with parents or when you just want somewhere you know the food won’t be bad.
The service is always incredible and friendly.
This restaurant was phenomenal! The food and service were fabulous!
The occupancy was low and the staff was extremely diligent about keeping social distance. The service was flawless, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. Given the circumstances, it was as close to perfect as one could imagine.
Loved our experience. Impressed with the Covid precautions. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Recommend the Brussel Sprout appetizer and the warm very fresh bread. Husband loved his butternut squash ravioli with veg.. I enjoyed my crabcake but with it had a little less filler and that it was paired with an option for salad or another veg rather than the arugula salad. Our shared Peppermint Bark dessert was outstanding! Very enjoyable and so glad we came.
Loved the food. Loved the overall vibe.
Food and portions were mediocre, especially for the price. Service was very good and many precautions taken for Covid safety.
Very friendly. Our nanny prefers eating here to any other place in the area. We bring her here three times a year. The crab cakes are absolutely the best. Minimal filling.
Was a good time catching up with friends. Sat out on the back patio, jackets/sweatshirts required, just felt safer. They did have propane heaters at each table. Service was awesome as always. Meals were awesome, again as always.
Clyde’s is one of our favorites. Special wait staff and very special menu.
Safety practices: masks, temperatures checks, hand sanitizer stations throughout, limited seating with social distancing. All staff were courteous, friendly, and patient. Food and service was excellent! Definitely recommend this location!
