Clyde's at Mark Center
Indoor, Outdoor, Carryout
We know it is no fun to wear a mask while enjoying a night out, but our staff's safety is no laughing matter.
We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

We enjoyed a relaxing an ever so comfortable dinner, enjoying the fire in the fireplace and the lakeside lodge ambience that we so love.
Their crab cakes are always a delight. We were happy that we went there on Thanksgiving early enough that we actually had our own side of the restaurant - with COVID being so thick these days, we were happy to be far from everyone else. All was delicious and timely.
Clyde's is our normal Thanksgiving restaurant, and with COVID making travel impossible it was a welcome destination. The food and service were excellent, as usual. Maybe made just a little better because of the "comfort" factor in this depressing year.
Great service. Nice quiet atmosphere. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The rest of the food was ok. Great selection on the menu. It's a good value restaurant.
Great place for lunch and for relaxing.
Heartily recommend it.
Great service and outstanding food. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
It was our wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. It was a great evening,
Food excellent. Service slow. There were few people dining in the restaurant.
Neighborhood restaurant and bar, but with an upscale flair. Always delicious & dependable.
Oysters Rockefeller and Butternut Squash Ravioli were divine!
A wonderful evening dining outside in their secret garden with heaters. Enjoyed oyster happy hour, steak, and salad.
Love the decor at Clydes from the Sailing Room to the cozy "at the Lake" room with the fireplace. We had the butternut squash ravioli which were delicious!
Very clean very friendly thank you very much keep up the good work
This is a really great restaurant. I recommend it to anyone. John
Excellent food and service. Excellent social distancing protocols.
They are not able to put heaters under the tents bc the tents are plastic. It’s really too cold to eat outside without them. I’d suggest discontinuing outdoor seating or offering blankets or something.
Server Michelle took great care of us. Food was great especially the pork schnitzel.
Eating inside is FABULOUS because you’re practically alone! Staff are always wonderful.
Our waitress Miche was amazing. She was attentive without being intrusive, both she and the young man that brought out the food gave us excellent service with a smile.
delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, good service!
Another wonderful outside dining outing at Clyde's - MC. Tried a new entree -- crispy chicken over rice -- that was delicious. Eager to find out what winter outside arrangements they will have?!
Friends and I went to celebrate 2 birthdays with lobster specials. The food was fabulous and the service impeccable. I felt totally safe there in terms of Covid precautions.
We were seated outside and the sprinklers came on twice.
the oysters were delicious as always. Service was good.
The waitress was so helpful and pleasant. I really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and the decor in the hallways were lovely.
My hangar steak & garlic truffle fries are my go-to dinner here! Can do Jed perfectly medium rare! They also do a great job with social distancing! Win-win!
Good social distancing, good wait service and management. Split dishes for us. Ravioli dish was not hot, one person got wrong entree and while plate and sautéed spinach were very hot, the bratwurst were not hot. Have eaten here many times over the years and food was better than just satisfactory. Manager apologized for wrong order and corrected it and heated up the ravioli; also offered two desserts on the house. Got two extra glasses of wine instead. Our friends have eaten at. Lodes 3 times during Covid and I think they were ok with the hospitality but we will probably go elsewhere until these dining restrictions are over. Carlyle is closer to us so would probably go there.
First time dining in a restaurant since March; a friend had recommended Clyde's for its outdoor safety precautions. It turned out to be a very good experience. Tables were under a tented area and spaced far in excess of 6 feet -- more like 8-10 feet. Disposable paper menus and all servers masked and gloved. We are asked to stayed masked if we moved from the table and when interacting with servers., which was by no means inconvenient. The food was reliable as one would expect from Clyde's. A nice variety of NE oysters on offer (just wish they could be labelled instead of hurriedly recited). Lobsters were a good value. Decent wine offerings at several price points. Reserving was a hassle though -- had to settle for 4:30 pm although tables were empty throughout our dinner and there seemed to be at least one walk-up. Sad to hear that due to unavailability of heaters outdoor seating will soon be ending.
The food was just okay. I have dined in the past at Clyde’s and the food was much better. Maybe the change is due to the pandemic period.
As always, good food at a reasonable price. We ate outside, which was perfect.
Cubano sandwich should use higher quality mustard than a yellow mustard. Otherwise, food was quite good.
Great table by the fireplace
Thank you Clydes for a very nice Friday evening. We appreciated the special care during these times and are grateful to enjoy a lovely evening at a favored restaurant! The steak and lobster were delicious---
Always a great experience at Clydes.
Another enjoyable experience, even if it is in a parking lot.
One of our few restaurant meals out since Covid 19 restrictions were begun. The tent made for a pleasant environment for lunch. Service was slow and less than attentive, but we weren't in a rush and I think they're running on short staff both in terms of servers and the kitchen. The big disappointment was the lobster. We've been going to Clyde's for the lobster special for over 20 years. And the lobsters have always been great, flown in fresh daily and sold in quantity to happy diners. Well, my husband's lobster was less than fresh, not off, but definitely not alive the day before. I had a reuben sandwich and the corned beef was just perfect, thinly sliced, still rare, not too salted. If I had gotten the lobster, I would have sent it back, but my husband didn't want to make a fuss. So nice to get out but so very disappointing that his meal was less than mediocre.
Wonderful food and very relaxed dining. I highly recommend Clyde’s.
Very safe place. Restaurant takes appropriate steps to ensure safety from the spread of COVID 19 - masks, sanitizing menus, seating, tables, etc., and social distancing - indoors every other booth with plexiglass dividers. Give Clydes an A+
For outdoor dining during this pandemic, Clyde's at Mark Center offers an outstanding setting. The restaurant has covered a sizable area of its parking lot with awnings and umbrellas to accommodate dining parties of different sizes, all well distanced from each other. (Note: The outdoor dining area has expanded considerably since it was first offered early in the summer.) The distance between the outside tables also makes the dining experience quieter than it sometimes is inside the restaurant.
We went there, on this occasion, specifically for the lobster special--which, at $22, including fries and slaw, is a real bargain. I think the special runs until the end of October.
Service is always good.
Clyde’s has done a nice job with the tent outdoors. Big planters and lots of space between tables make for comfortable dining. Service was great, and the food is the same, dependable dining experience as always.
