Clyde's at Mark Center
Indoor, Outdoor, Carryout
We know it is no fun to wear a mask while enjoying a night out, but our staff's safety is no laughing matter.
We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

Waiter was either absent or, at time of ordering and during dinner, hurrying us up. He never asked if we wanted dessert but simply put a carry out box on the table for my half eaten burger while my my husband was still eating. We had been at the table almost an hour and a half before we got our main dish (and we’d waited a long time for the appetizers and then the main dish.
I’ve always loved this particular Clyde’s and we often come for special occasions. But, tonight was unpleasant. Im sure our waiter was obviously tired and didn’t want to be there. And perhaps you all are trying to get your groove back - like the rest of us - after such a difficult year. I hole it’s just that. Dianne Summons
Clydes always has outstanding seafood and staff are very attentive.
Went for Mother’s Day lunch/brunch. Our server, Danielle, was a rock star! She was polite, engaging, quick with every request we made, and fun! She remembered our orders (6 people & most made special requests!) to a tee without writing anything down! Perfect place for Mother’s Day meal!
We had a great Mother’s Day brunch. The entrees were yummy. Service was great. This was my first time there and I had heard great things. I was not disappointed
As always it is delightful to eat at Clyde's. The food is not always consistent but pretty close. The ambiance is so relaxing and pleasant and the staff are wonderful especially during the difficult times of covid. The waitress we had was extremely good. Very sweet.
Nice dinner date night for my husband and I for our anniversary.
The food was good but the seating was not that great.
Was too cold to sit outside. That was where we were because of COVID.
Nice place, great atmosphere, good service. Reuben sandwich was worth the trip!
It was a nice ambiance not crowded and the service and food was excellent
Perfect environment and ambience for a relaxed business dinner. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meals and experience.
Shrimp cocktail was awful.Overcooked, tough and flavorless.Pea and asparagus appetizers were bland and lifeless. My experience with similar appetizers in the past was far better.I’ve been a long time customer-first time back since 3/2020.Will give it another chance.
Our waitress Anne Marie made this a memorable dining experience. She didn’t wait for me to ask for drink refill. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. The front check-in/ hostess was very friendly. The staff practiced excellent covid environment practices - sanitizing and wiping surfaces frequently and maintaining social distanced seating. The background music was excellent rhythm and blues and 50s/60s rock and roll. We truly enjoyed this dining experience and will be returning soon.
Consistently great service and fresh, delicious food.
The server Dannielle was amazing!!! Food and drink are good. But the server Dannielle will be the reason we return.
Great food and staff. Only issue was wait time. We had a 7pm reservation for 2 people. Arrived 15 mins early; had to wait until 7:15 or 7:20 to be seated. Appreciate the Covid precautions but it was my father's 80th birthday, so it would have been nice to get him seated more quickly. Once at our table, we had a lovely time.
Consistent and good.
Great place to eat outside after long shutdown due to COVID! Food and service were excellent. Before arriving, we were concerned about the possibility of rain and were pleasantly surprised to see the tent cover.
Clyde’s is a first rate dinning experience! I recommend it to everyone.
Quick service (as always). Superb ambiance--quiet, well-spaced tables allowing private conversations. The food fresh, prepared to one's specifications, and well-presented. Outside dining available, too. Plentiful free parking steps from restaurant doors. The best dry Grey Goose martinis. It doesn't get better than this.
Excellent place for business meeting. Excellent service.
I had the crabcake sandwich which was excellent. Wow! Big lumps of crabmeat and it came with cole slaw and fries, fruit salad or ceasar salad. All great additions to the meal.
We were there to celebrate a special occasion, unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing because of the service we received. Our server Johnny made us feel like we were not welcome. There was a huge difference in the service we received vs the other tables. Granted we were the only people of color in his section and the treatment was apparent.
He didn’t ask us if we wanted something to drink, he didn’t bother to mention any specials or recommendations, he didn’t ask if we wanted desert. He couldn’t even take the time to introduce himself to us.
The food runner was the only pleasant experience we had. I unfortunately couldn’t get his name.
Always enjoy Clyde’s Restaurant, tried something new. Always excellent service. Will be back again.
We returned with friends to have those excellent fried oysters!
Excellent as always. Smoked chicken and fried oyster entrees were especially good.
Overall experience was awesome. This being my first visit to this Clyde's location and 3rd restaurant I have visited during this pandemic I can say that Covid protocols were definitely being adhered too (I never questioned my safety while dinning at this establishment). Check-in procedure was quick and friendly. Santiago our host did an exceptional job in serving us (very attentive). The food was good and the ambience fit the mood for a date night. 5-star experience!
Wonderful service and ambiance.
Uitstekend eten in ongedwongen sfeer. Plezierige, vlotte bediening, ideaal voor zakelijke besprekingen.
Great restaurant and even better food and service. Convenient and easy parking.
Our dinner on Saturday night was excellent - as always. Usually the waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately this was not so on Saturday. Our waiter was borderline rude. We waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered and he blamed it on the bar staff. We asked what the specials were he said read it on the menu.
We had to ask him what the fresh veggies were and he told us to read this, too, on the menu. We finally complained to the manager a new waitperson completed the serving of our meal. Think the waiter needs to take a Waiting on Tables - 101 over again.
The food is always well prepared. A wide variety of choices
Really not pleased with Clydes decision to increase prices on oyster happy hour while reducing hours. Can't blame Covid forever and they need to rectify this soon. Also, our server was inconsistent with his Covid protocols. He approached some diners without masks but seemed to single out an older gentlemen and caused a bit of a scene insisting the gentleman put on his mask. All or nothing folks, you can't select who you think should wear a mask.
After the two weeks waiting period after final vaccinations, we yielded to our craving for fresh oysters. Clyde's outdoor dining arrangements are outstanding -- open sides for air circulation, widely spaced tables, one-use menus and wine lists, and masked-and-gloved servers. The only weak point is the more limited menu than in the past; we settled for burgers after the oysters although would have preferred something else. Service by Danielle was perfect -- professional, courteous, attentive, and safe.
We ate in the Secret Garden, and it was fabulous. Food and service were excellent.
We have a long history with Clyde's and it continues to be top notch. They deal particularly well with COVID concerns. We are happy to have it.
Clyde's is always reliably good
My husband and I celebrated Easter with brunch at Clydes and had a very good time.
We will return. Very large seating capacity with additional outdoors. We ate Easter brunch inside with little customers near us. Waitress was pleasant and efficient. Food good.
Love Clyde's! Always know that my steak will be cooked perfectly!
