Clyde's at Mark Center
The menu has lots to choose from. The food is prepared in an outstanding manner every time we go there. Service is excellent also. This can be a special occasion restaurant because you can carry on a conversation and the ambiance is wonderful.
It had been years since I visited Clydes at Mark Place. I had forgotten how beautiful it is, especially at Christmas. A fabulous experience!
Excellent food, service and very good ambiance. timely service
Great place for group lunches and dinners. Something for everyone on the menu.
I asked for hot chili and when it arrived it was warm- not hot. Consistent experience at this location. I did not send back because it was busy and I was in a luncheon meeting. But very disappointed.
We have eaten at Clyde's on multiple occasions and always found it to be of high value, great-tasting and fresh food. The place excels on customer service. The Oysters are always fresh and delicious. We had varied menu tastes and all were more than satisfied. Truly a neighborhood gem.
The service at Clyde's was outstanding and friendly. The preparation of the food was relatively fast. However, the food was too salty. My wife and I ordered different dishes. We both noticed water retention and had difficulty sleeping that night. Good food does not need to be heavily salted. Just go to Europe to see that is true. We will not likely return. We'd rather cook ourselves and be able to sleep well.
I ordered the mushroom Bolognese and I wish the menu would have mentioned that it had squash in it, which made it sweet. Not something I would have ordered, had I known.
Recommend because I believe our experience yesterday is not the norm. Room with fireplace was hot then cold during the meal, our waitress was ‘meh’ not rude but not overly friendly and she forgot an item for our table twice, when another waitress reminded her she brought it without apologies. One order was also wrong and no apologies.
My wife and her 92 year old mother really enjoyed sitting in the bar area and having a dozen raw oysters each. Great service!
The food, as usual, was excellent. Our server, "Uyoyou" not so much. My wife's appetizer failed to be served when mine was. The manager, Tim (?), fixed the problem. The server had a great time with very extended conversations with the table behind us. We got second best. My wife discussed the great performance of one of the staff as opposed to our experience with the manager..
Nice Thanksgiving dinner.
My first time at Clyde's and it will not be my last. I enjoyed the entire experience, from the welcome greetings to the goodbyes and everything in between. Excellent food and service.
Excellent dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff is very professional and friendly. We will be back soon.
The restaurant was very busy. The bar seating was not optimal.
Reservations were useless, no tables were ready so we had to wait and were then seated at a table
In the bar area (a specific dining room had been requested on the reservation but we were told that would’ve been an even longer wait)
Been there many times but not for a holiday like Thanksgiving. It was horribly packed maybe as expected though I never imagined it would be that crowded. Food (at least my dish) was dry like it had been sitting there a long time. Guess with that many people the food couldn’t be the same quality.
A couple of years ago, your Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. This year, OK is the best I can give it. In large part, I think, because it wasn't very hot---sitting under heat lamps too long? And we were there when it wasn't particularly busy--i.e., between noon rush and early evening rush.
Good food--traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed the experience.
The turkey dinner was delicious. Portion was large enough to have some to take home, a plus for Thanksgiving. The rose wine I ordered was not good and I would not order again. The pecan pie was not to my liking at all, seemed to be over baked.
Everything else was great and the wait staff was pleasant and very friendly and looked "spiffy" which couldn't have been easy since they were so busy.
I would come again
Thanksgiving was a disappointment but normally the food is pretty good. Ambience and service are great though.
The Thanksgiving turkey had no taste and a lot of fat; I like dark meat. And there is never enough cranberry sauce. Please add more cranberry sauce next year.
The food was not coordinated and we had three different waiters. It took forever to get bread and drinks.
Always enjoyable experience. Clyde’s at Mark Center has become our “go to” place when we’re in the area. Service and food are consistently very good. Good value.
The food was OK, nothing spectacular and not worth the prices charged. Service was slow. Nice ambiance; reminds you of a mountain lodge. I expected more for the price.
Excellent service, very good food. Clam chowder was gourmet - well presented and rich tasting.
This was a great place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The food and wine were great, our server was fantastic and the music set the mood. Really nice overall. Manager spoke to us and made us feel welcome.
Clyde's never disappoints. The menu is lengthy, something for everyone, the ambience is lovely, and the service is always good, but the food is DELICIOUS!
Clydes is always a good choice, reliable, nice menu, good service, pretty location, and not too loud. You can easily chat with your friends.
Eggs were severely overcooked. Manager brought corrected dish and comped my entree.
Love their oyster happy hour.
If you want comfort food, without high traffic and hassles, then this is the place to go for lunch on a Saturday.
We split a salad, soup and entree and they were kind enough to split the plates in half for us. Made the dining experience great and the perfect amount of food for a date night. Thanks!
There were three of us; the Porcini Chicken and the Italian sub were great; my calf's liver (which I have recommended numerous times to friends) was really not good. Clyde's usually does a stellar job with calf's liver, which can be tricky. Well, this one was really sub-par. Sadly, I won't recommend nor order this dish again. Still a Clyde's fan. Service was excellent as always, and the other two dishes were great. Just disappointed for the first time with the usually stellar calf's liver. No, I didn't send it back, as I didn't want to ruin lunch for the other two, I just ate the great sides.
Great food and service.
Rather than receiving the usual good service that we have received in past visits, we were assigned a trainee server who caused three of the six orders to be incorrectly carried out. Halfway through the meal the manager had to replace this server with more experienced staff.
Had mussels and had to ask 3 times for a bowl for shells. When I finished I got thr bowl
My burger was very good. Decent prices, I'd go back. Weird vibe/ambiance but overall a good restaurant.
We live in the area so it was very convenient. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. The food was typical American fare and was just what we expected.
