   Our server Anil was absolutely phenomenal — attentive and just a joy. The food and drinks were impeccable — as usual! Thanks for making my birthday such a memorable affair! The free dessert was such a special touch — thank you again.

   Beautiful place, food was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service could have been better. Had to wait for the server multiple times even though she was standing nearby and there were not many other people around.

   We went to celebrate my son’s engagement and I had told them ahead of time. They did nothing to acknowledge that— no congratulations, no glass of Prosecco , no free dessert, nothing. There were four of us and only three meals came out— they forgot my husbands. We ordered a bottle of wine and they said they were out of it. We tried another and they said they were out of it as well. Both of them were French wines. They suggested an ontario wine to which I replied “we chose a French restaurant so we would like to have French wine for this special occasion “ the vegetarian option “cabbage steak” was a big hunk of cabbage and was very hard to cut with very little flavour. The side order of carrots had a purple carrot that was impossible to cut! We ordered dessert and it never came. I told the waiter at the end of the night how unhappy and upset I was with the entire night and he blamed it on the timing of our reservation (7:15 pm) and COVID but there were lots of servers and the restaurant was not very busy at all. I will definitely never return to this restaurant and will tell everyone I know about this awful experience.

    I was of two minds on writing this. What happened at our table was likely a fluke disaster but being a former server myself at a French bistro and ruminating on the dinner afterwards, I've come to the conclusion that the disaster was handled badly. Everything was fine up to the appetizer and drinks. What happened was the food busser delivered one of the mains to our table and had another main that was clearly not for our table as it wasn't ordered by anyone. Because one of the mains was correct, he laid it down on the table even tho obviously for the wrong table. The server came by and immediately recognized the mistake and told the busser; the busser tried to remove the plate but the server stopped him immediately and said that once a dish is laid on a table, it can't be removed and told us immediately that it was a free steak and frites. So far in the story, this is the correct course of action for such a mistake. When I was a server, I'd tell the table that the mistake is on the house and to treat it like a shared appetizer because the mains would still be coming together. I'd immediately rush order a replacement dish for the other table and deal with the internal ramifications later. This is not what happened. My friend whose main was delivered early, of course started to eat it as there was no telling when the other mains would arrive and it would be ridiculous to wait. We munched a little on his frites while we waited. Then the other mains arrived without his entree and his never came. This meant the server had to manually void his main that was punched in and let us have a discombobulated meal of eating our mains at different times. As my friends are super polite people to a fault, they didn't complain but I could tell the upset. I didn't complain because I didn't want to make a scene. What bugs me is the conscious decision to intervene the mains order. That literally is the absolute wrong course of action. Made for an uncomfortable dinner experience.

    The service was the best we’ve had dining out in Canada. The waiter went out of his way to cater for us, especially in offering exciting drinks choices for the non-alcoholic drinker. Food was really good without being too fussy. Lovely outdoor seating.

    We had a fantastic server, Brooke, who really made our experience exceptional. Food was excellent and served quickly and at a perfect temperature. We sat outside where the patio was shady and covered with greenery. Great ambiance. We will definitely be back.

    Our dinners, the steak frites and the trout were delicious. Nice atmosphere on the terrace. Friendly server. The only issue was wine. We each ordered a glass of rosé, which really came as a light red. When asked about it, the server told us it was the only rosé. Later on we saw other tables with a true rosé. At the very high price of wine, we should get what we want.

    The new menu isnt fabulous for lunch. We spent a fair bit on lunch, ate nothing because it all tasted very similar sadly. We ususally are quite happy. If you didnt want duck or red meat, everything was very bland and similar. I hope they consider a new lunch menu...

    Food was delicious but service was really lacking, very reactive and not proactive. We had to keep asking for our water and champagne to be poured (eventually one of our party just started serving us as it was easier). Food was not served at the same time (for two identical orders) so one of our party had to watch everyone eat. A bit disappointing to be honest as it was for a special celebration and the service really let down what was otherwise a tasty lunch.

    Ambience was great but service was a bit slow. Food was hit or miss. The ceviche and brie brûlée were great, but the bouillabaisse was not at all to write home about. The pork chop was a pleasant surprise. The dining area’s design is also questionable. The banquette I was seated at was exceedingly low and noticeably lower than the dining chairs across the table. This made it extremely uncomfortable to use my cutlery to slice my pork chop and my wrists were exhausted after this meal. Overall I have mixed feelings about this meal considering the price we paid. We had dined at Cluny before with fond memories of the place, but this night’s experience may have changed that for us.

    The ambiance is amazing - such a beautiful restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making our Father’s Day brunch extra special. Kids and adults alike felt welcomed. Food was excellent! My only complaint might be that $150 for 4 of us to have a simple brunch (we didn’t even get drinks - alcoholic or non alcoholic), seems a bit high.

    The restaurant is gorgeous, we particularly admired the design details. The service at Fathers Day brunch was great as were the cocktails, the food was very good. We'll be back again, next time for dinner.

    Seating is fairly separated table to table but not if your sitting in fixed seats back to back with others. We were so close to others that my wife could smell the bad BO her neighbor was emitting. We ended up shifting out table to lesson. The mains were good but our appetizer was poor. We had a Brie dish that came to our table melted but was cold as the stone plate was cold. We did not want to raise any issues.

    Terrible service. Incredibly slow. The wait staff was unable to answer questions about the food. I asked for salt and pepper and it took so long to arrive that my food was cold by the time it did. We were not informed of the options for ordering croissants. The noise levels were so loud we could not hold a conversation. We had to wait approximately twenty minutes for the bill at the end of the meal.
