    Nice spot in Distillery District. Ambience good as was food. Service the same though there were some hurdles. Steak frites (flatiron) were good but steak a bit on the tough side. I was served the incorrect steak at first and beers with dinner appeared well after dinner arrived. Steak tartare was good but served with only a few crostini...a few more arrived after about 15 minutes so a little too long in a 3/4 empty resto. All in all good, and would return, but there may still be a little work to do.

    Great ambiance, very friendly and attentive staff!! Really great food, excellent French onion soup (yes, even in summer,it’s well worth it!). Every dish is excellent, and great variety of cocktails.

    The service was excellent. The newest items on the menu were explained. We were very satisfied with the food and wine. We didn’t feel rushed. The noise level was quiet enough for us to have a conversation. It was a very pleasant experience.

    Cluny is a beautiful restaurant. Very nice atmosphere in both the dining room and patio but the food and service didn’t live up to expectations. Upon arriving, our server did not tell us what the specials were, we didn’t know they had any until another server told other diners about them. We tried to order the bread basket appetizer and were told they were “out of bread”, at 7pm on a Sunday, so we ordered the shrimp cocktail instead, unfortunately it tasted fishy so we didn’t eat it all. The server didn’t ask how it was, even though we hadn’t finished it. The entrees were good (steak frites) but sadly nothing to celebrate. For desert we had the crepes with ice cream - very rich but enjoyable. Overall the meal cost close to $300, which is what I would expect to pay at a high quality restaurant. Unfortunately, I just left feeling that the food and experience didn’t align to the cost.

    Gorgeous. Airy. Beautifully designed. Amazing ambiance. Attentive service, fantastic menu, perfectly presented and delicious. Will be back for sure! We went for brunch, but could see the possibilities for evening cocktails and large or small groups for dinner.

    I always love coming to Clunys it's a stunning restaurant and I haven't had a bad meal there ever. On my last visit the staff was wonderful and the food had fantastic flavours. The only critique I have is that it's pricey for the amount you get. I got the seafood in a beautiful cream broth with sorrel and the flavour was gorgeous, but, there wasn't that much in it and the shrimp were really small so I didn't think that the price was great. But, saying that, it's the Distillery District and it's a beautiful venue so, you are paying for that as well. The mocktails that we had were fantastic. I will be back for sure!!
