About Club Soda
To join in the fun you must be 21! Club Soda is the kind of joint Frank, Dean and Sammy would truly love. Lucky for you, they're dead and you can have their table. Sizzling steaks and commodious cocktails are the watchwords at Club Soda, voted Fort Wayne's best martini bar, steakhouse and jazz club. A casual atmosphere in our first-floor bar gives way to white tablecloths and all the accoutrement of fine dining on the second. And our selection of prime steaks, sumptuous seafood and exquisite wines puts our money where your mouth is. After dinner, it's back to the bar to take in the best live jazz that northeastern Indiana has to offer. At Club Soda, it's all about red meat, cold gin and cool jazz. Which is why we like to say, "There's nothing good for you here. And that's just how it oughtta be." Club Soda. Steaks. Cocktails. Ring-a-ding-ding.

Club Soda Ratings and Reviews
1) We reserved for 4 people, even re-confirmed the morning of our reservation, but they had us waiting awhile, because they said they had set the table for 2 and had to re-do it.
2) Also, server did not inform us that splitting the meal in the kitchen would cost us extra. She should have mentioned it when we were ordering that sharing would cost more.
3) Ordered NY strip medium rare. Color was fine, but the meat was very tough and chewey. Made us question the quality of the meat. Our friends who ordered lamb, also said it was tough.
I was very pleased with the service, our waitress was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice as well, nice and quiet with good music in the background. The only downside was the food.. which isn't good for a restaurant. The meal started off with bread, which I have no complaints about really, other than the fact that it wasn't warm when it arrived at our table. We also ordered an appetizer, the pot roast poutine, the roast was very dry, maybe due to the very small amount gravy that was supposed to be on it and the potatoes were underdone. Flavor-wise, it wasn't bad though. For our main dish, we decided to get the MOAB burgers with aged cheddar and bacon. The burger its self was fantastic, I ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. However, the aged cheddar was absolutely disgusting. I love cheese of all kinds, however, this cheese tasted of bile and I was highly disappointed. Even after scraping it off of my burger, I could still taste it and was unable to eat the second patty that it was on. I also ordered risotto as my side dish and it was unfortunately underdone. All in all, Club Soda has a nice atmosphere and ambiance, but their food was terrible. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. I will not be returning to Club Soda.
Ambiance and service were good, food was mediocre. The moonfish I ordered was bland and completely dry. The scallops on it were fine and they were nice enough to comp me half the price of the entree. Overall a nice place for drinks and appetizers, but there are much better options for dining in Fort Wayne these days.
First experience here. Well-trained and personable staff, meticulously prepared food.
BTW--if the menu description says it's hot, it IS (I'm tired of places that promise spicy and don't deliver--this place gives HEAT when it's promised!). Only disappointment is that I can't get there every week.
We've been to Club Soda at least three times on our visits to Fort Wayne. The first two visits were good - attentive service, great food, and the ambiance was good (still a bit loud), but our last visit wasn't so great. Without being asked our preference we were seated outside in what was apparently a smoking section. We would have said something earlier, but it wasn't until after our dinner was being served that other patrons around us began smoking. Plus - and I realize it wasn't the fault of Club Soda - there was some kind of techno music festival going on nearby which made conversation all but impossible. We were very disappointed that a special evening was ruined.
We have never been disappointed with the food at Club Soda! It is well worth paying that little bit extra to get an outstanding meal every time. The chef's specials were especially good on Saturday night. I have no hesitation in recommending the club as a first rate dining experience.
My wife and I have gone to Club Soda for every "special occasion" dinner we've had as far back as I can remember. The food is always great, the staff is always incredibly responsive and approachable, and the music is always fantastic. We will continue to go to Soda in the future; they are simply our favorite place in the Fort.
We enjoyed dinner at Club Soda on 9/19 for our wedding anniversary. We had martinis that were delicious: The Bloody Basil and Blood & Bourbon
We also enjoyed the filet mignon, that was cooked to perfection and tender as could be!
Our server/waitress (Athena) was amazing too! One of the best.
Great place for special occasions! :)
We went for dinner before a show at the Embassy. We had reservations and were seated promptly. We were seated at a 2 top and noticed that many other couples were seated at larger 4 top.
They have a very large selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. We shared bacon wrapped scallops as an apitizer. We woukd have preferred the sweet sauce on the side and would have not used it.
We both had the spinach salad and it was great. I had the panko crusted salmon with lyonnaise potatoes. The salmon was a little dry, but the potatoes were fantastic. My wife had the duck with risotto. The duck was also a little dry and the risitto was perfect.
Service was excellent. Overall it was pretty good, but somewhat lacking for the price. Maybe it was an off night, as we have been more satisfied on previous visits.
We purposely chose this spot while in the area for the Auburn Car Auction after reading reviews and wanting to experience a special evening while in Ft Wayne from Indianapolis. It did not disappoint! We were so impressed with the decor, ambiance, service and quality of the food. We LOVED the salmon cakes, martini, wine and entrees of scallops and marlin. It was delicious! This place is one of the most beautiful restaurants we've been to and we are all over the Indianapolis food scene on a regular basis. This place is going on our FAVORITE list and would go back for an overnight stay just to eat here again! We didn't make it for the live jazz but next time requesting a seat near the live action would be worthwhile.
We visited Club Soda to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. Cocktails were delicious but a bit pricey. Food was very good. Our server was excellent. Deserts were great. Cost was about $70 per person after tip. Not an every day event but not disappointed at all.
Gotta get a loada Club Soda! Oh, what a fun night... The live music was a nice surprise, as well as the multiple dining locations. The restaurant is a throw back to the 40's, and its decor reflects as such. It was hard to choose where to sit, however it was a bit warm for the outdoor options they offered, so we perched ourselves in the bar area. The area was nicely decorated to reflect the era to which they are paying homage.... cool. Love the brick exposed all around too. Our server was warm and efficient. She reviewed the menu with us and we landed on steak. My NY strip was delicious - It had a charred flavor and was done to my liking, and was ample for the price. The accompanying salad, I chose the spinach, was outstanding.... The collage of ingredients and sweet dressing made for an interesting choice! The veggie I picked was the brussel sprouts, YUM! They were shaved and done al dente. Perfect! We also took advantage of their wine special, a bottle for $20. A deal, and we were grateful to the server for pointing it out to us. Overall, a great dining experience. We'll be back!
Our server Camron was great -- she handled every request smoothly and with pleasant manners. Orders ranged from small plate sliders to medium rare filet and each dish was perfectly prepared. We opted for the second floor to be sure we could converse. Great time, and a successful gathering.
Club Soda isn't what it used to be. Appetizers were good. Smoked Gouda and Calamari. Drinks were good. My husband had the lamb and he couldn't even cut through it. As he said it, "it was the worse lamb he has ever had." I had a filet. It was ok. Have had far better filet in town. I would only recommend the wine, cocktails and appetizers. Nice waitress also!
This was my 2nd visit having driven 2+ hrs ... my 1st visit was excellent with Delanie our delightful ... 2nd visit for dinner ended abruptly ( right after the appetizers) due to our server who we felt was unfriendly and lacked any enthusiasm. When we asked for appetizer to be boxed ... the containers and bag were left for us to 'do it ourselves' .... we're never returning after initially loving this place.
