I had mentioned on my Open Table reservation that it was my fiance's birthday and they did not disappoint. We walked into a room with live Christmas music being played by a crackling fire and were promptly shown to the 2nd floor and seated right in front of the big picture window decorated beautifully with a Christmas wreath. The room couldn't be any cozier. If I didn't know any better I'd even say they ordered the snow that was falling outside just for us. Our waiter, Diego was extremely attentive. We even had special menus w/ Happy Birthday written on them. We had the crab cake and the caesar salad as appetizers and they were both on point. The crab cake had loads of lump crab and very minimal filler and the caesar dressing had just the right amount of anchovy. Then we ordered the sirloin for 2. It was prepared a perfect medium rare, pre-sliced for us and swimming in delicious butter. the sauteed mushrooms, creamy whipped potatoes and asparagus w bernnaise sauce were also right on the mark. To make things better, Diego brought us a complimentary "Happy Birthday" dessert plate that had a piece of chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu and 2 profiteroles. We each had an espresso and then Diego offered us (yes , complimentary) an after dinner drink. Our ports completed a perfect birthday dinner. This was our first time at Club A but as I assured everyone on the way out, we will most certainly be back soon.
