This was an incredible experience. We were seated upstairs in the corner next to the window. A romantic spot. The restaurant was beautiful. The service was wonderful. And the food was absolutely incredible. We will return to Club A Steakhouse ANYTIME we return to NYC. This is a new favorite.

We were recommended the restaurant by a friend who has been going each year on his birthday and we had a fantastic dinner at Club A. It was the perfect spot for a Tuesday night with superb steak similar to Peter Luger's. We loved our dishes and the service was fantastic. Nothing frilly but efficient and friendly. The view out of the window from upstairs overlooking the Christmas lights on the street was wonderful. I am so glad we went and hope to return!

My friend and I had a delicious meal at Club A Steakhouse, from the salads to the steak and sides we loved it all. Service was excellent and we were sent a delicious homemade ravioli and dessert, wine prices reasonable and so were the main entrees and sides. The live music during dinner was also a great vibe to add to this old world, great food destination. We will be back.

We were in Manhattan, celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I had originally booked another restaurant, but chose this one based on reviews and a recommendation from our hotel desk agent. I booked this reservation through OpenTable and specified that it was for our 10th anniversary dinner. Special occasion, right? WRONG! No acknowledgement of our occasion was made at our greeting or at any point in our evening. The food was fantastic. We shared three appetizers and all were very tasty. The filets were cooked perfectly and the Mac & cheese was to die for. Then we sipped on our cocktails for a bit while we waited for them to clear our table. And we waited. And we waited. And we waited. They finally cleared our plates and then disappeared to work other tables. For 25 minutes! I finally got up and found Diego, our server, and explained we wanted our check due to the fact we’d been waiting so long and hadn’t been offered dessert. Diego dropped the check at the table, no apology, no offer to make things right, no eye contact. When he brought the check back, same thing. No apology or eye contact but did say “thank you”. He didn’t care. On our way out we explained the situation to the owner and he was very apologetic and offered us after dinner cocktails for our inconvenience. We declined and went on our way. One bad employee is all it takes to ruin a restaurant’s reputation. Diego did this for us this evening and we will never set foot in their doors again. Thanks for ruining our anniversary dinner.

We chose this restaurant based on a review we read on trip advisor. My family of 6 enjoyed an amazing meal with fantastic service and ambiance. The food quality was exceptional. We were seated at a table on the upper level looking out onto the lit up tree—it was beautiful and just added to the overall experience. My son ran the NYC marathon earlier that day and the owner made a point of coming to greet us, took a photo, printed and signed it and when finished for the evening again congratulated him as we left the restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Wonderful Birthday dinner for my daughter! We were treated like royalty the minute we walked in. The portions were excellent and cooked to perfection. The Birthday card with our picture will be treasured forever. Thank you to everyone at Club A Steakhouse...it was an A+ experience!

I had high hopes coming here. My filet was cooked up perfection. I was confused about how the salad came out with the main courses and not before. The rest of the food was ordinary and the service was inattentive, at best. Overall, a disappointment for what I hoped was going to be exceptional.

This is the best place to come for a special occasion. We celebrated our anniversary and everything was perfect. Food was delicious, the staff was super friendly they surprised us with a dessert and a picture that was printed at the moment and signed by the owner! Such an amazing experience!! We will definitely come back for the excellent service.

We have eaten at this friendly, family owned steakhouse several times. We are always made to feel welcome by the owner and the staff. Food is always well prepared and delicious. Why is there no dessert menu? Because you don't need one! A sampling of three complimentary confections appears magically when your meal is finished! (Nice touch) Definitely get the crab meat cocktail with three sauces.
