Clock Tower Grill
With a awesome patio for outdoor dinning.
See you soon.
Fantastic and highly recommended!
Mothers Day. Menu was a dinner menu at 11:45am!
the service and food was not what it used to be.
It took for ever to get our drinks after many request.
We were never delivered the bread after many request.
the Sandwich I ordered was very fatty
Hadn’t been to the restaurant in a long time. The food was as good and interesting as I had remembered.
Food and drink offerings are always unique and delicious. Waitstaff are friendly and helpful. We look forward to dinner at Clock Tower Grill!
Awesome food everytime we go. The food is so tasty and the menu is different compared to other restaurants. They had some cool cocktails as well. So good! My husband had the short rib and I had the mushroom wontons which wee outstanding. The cauliflower soup for appetizer which was a special was excellent. I am trying to be a vegetarian and there was many items on the menue for me. They use many local farms which to me in itself is key. A place to try for sure. The inside is my style too with a farm rustic yet cozy setting. Oh and to start instead of boring bread you get popovers. My husband is from France and has been to fine restaurants and he was impressed. Our waiter was so nice too and friendly. The entire staff was great!
Always love the food. Our server was very pleasant, but he wasn’t too familiar with the cocktail selections.
Sisters birthday. Desert was disappointing but dinner was good and service was great.
It was good, not great. I don’t know what changed, but the last several times we’ve dined there the experience wasn’t what it used to be.
We have visited this restaurant many times in the past and the food and service have been good. Not sure what happened on Saturday night but they seemed extremely short on staff and our appetizers came out on time but they said our main course order was not printed so the kitchen did not cook it on time. The food was good but the service was bad. Since we have not had this happen to us in the past we will return but I can only give them three stars.
The food was solid we totally enjoyed the charcuterie and crudité platters, I split the burger with my friend - cooked correctly and the sauce on it really tasty. The steak the third person in our party ate was also done to perfection. Although the brussel sprouts that accompanied it were a little on the overdone side - we really had no complaints about the food...oh and the popovers YUM!
The service on the other hand had a lot to be desired - staff is on the young side and definitely needs training and guidance - lots of training. Clueless is a good word for them. Three times we had to remind them to bring the round of drinks we ordered as we sat with nothing - their response each time we reminded them - oh yeah - and dining room not that busy for the amount of staff scrambling about. But they were pleasant enough and we knew they were trying, just work with them.
When dinner was over we moved to the bar. The bartender was no better. Disappearing for 5+ minutes at a time, not checking in with customers and trust me the place emptied out, we were the only people at the bar and yet continuously had to wait for service. At the end of the night, we had bar tab issues. All I'm saying is do not pay cash - use your card.
Even so, we would consider coming back!
My citrus salad with grilled chicken was delicious, my son said his swordfish special was very good, my daughter-in-law, who ‘goes there for the short ribs’ was disappointed that the recipe has been changed. Although she said these were ‘okay’, she really misses the ‘old way.’
So here is the issue I have with Clocktower Grill, this is the third time I have dined here, and I really wanted to like this place. The food is good, but minimal. I ordered the scallops, which were tasty enough, but there were only 3, which to me is more like an appetizer size. The entree came with some potatoes, thank god, because I was literally starving after my meal. Two of my friends had the rigatoni, which was supposed to have chorizo sausage in it and have a lemon zest flavor. Both described it as bland and had no taste, and also no sausage in it, save for one small piece. I am not the type of diner who likes to complain about the service, I appreciate and understand it is a difficult job. Our server, who we had the last time we dined there, was barely attentive, we waited quite some time after our appetizers were cleared for our entrees. She didn't come by and ask how everything was, finally we had to ask other servers to send her over to our table to ask about our main entrees. We also had to ask her for our popovers, our salt and pepper, and our dessert order. It was not overly busy where one could give her the benefit of the doubt of forgetfulness. If you don't care too much about service, I guess you could give it a shot. I don't think I will return, too bad because there are so few places in Brewster to go for a nice meal.
A great experience as usual.
We partook in the HVRW menu and it was very good. Erica was great. Shrimp and Grits were excellent. I had pasta that was a little undercooked but delicious.
One of the only decent places to eat in Brewster. Always a treat!
Used to go here a lot. Went during HVRW and was disappointed. I had the the chicken confit. It couldn't have been any drier. It was fried and was almost impossible to cut .
Interesting and diverse menu. Went on a Friday night and the music was a lovely addition. The shrimp and grits was excellent.
Another great dinner at Clock Tower Grill! The Scallops are to die for, and the wings are the best I've ever had!
The staff was extremely accommodating and meal was excellent as usual
Food was excellent. Service was great. Restaurant was full yet we had no problem hearing each other. Music was not too loud.
Nice environment. Good food
Wonderful experience on a Friday night. The owner/hostess accommodated our last minute change to our reservation with grace. The food was delicious - love the tuna app, and everything else we had. Drinks were perfect, nice selection of wines by the glass and the beer on tap selection is amazing. Music on Friday nights is quality and so much fun!
I have been to this restaurant several times in the past and loved the food, service and ambiance.
This week was different..the pita was burnt for out appetizers,
The popovers were not warm enough.
I ordered the yam steak and the yams, although I could cut them, were undercooked and hard.
Terrible waste of $23.00.
Wine was overpriced.
We were a party of 8 for a special birthday celebration. Everything was perfect. All our guests raved about the food. Cassie and Rich went above and beyond. Thank you both so very much for making this a truly special night. Clock Tower is our favorite place to dine.
Love this place. My family and I have been here on several times for special occasion celebrations.
Excellent food, the tuna tartare was exceptional as were our dinners. Friday evening music in the bar is a plus.
Great restaurant with outstanding food. A great find!
A nice cool place for a good meal. More creative, healthy and tasty than most. I’m looking forward to coming back.
We went upon the recommendation of some friends who enjoy a good meal as much as we do. I found the food extremely disappointing, with service to match. At this price point, I would expect servers who know what they're doing, and some interest on the part of management to the quality of the food. Our meals arrived cold, much like you might get from a cafeteria steam table. Service was slow and ponderous. I have been to several local eateries that were far less expensive and far more satisfying. I generally don't write negative reviews, but this one was well deserved. Adult leadership was nowhere on the scene.
Need to get it together re their service staff and seeing that there are enough servers . Food and drinks were not well coordinated. Seem to always have new serving staff. Something's not right here.
Food and ambiance is great.
We had an excellent meal- the menu is fresh and creative, and the service was solicitous without being intrusive. We will definitely be back.
This restaurant is a gem if you are looking for delicious, thoughtfully prepared, clean, local food. Often meet friends for lunch and find it cozy, leisurely and delicious.
Awesome food. Best fried chicken ever
Nice options on menu. Unique and creative. Great service. Food delicious. I would suggest expanding on the dessert menu.
Always a great time! Our family thoroughly enjoys our regular visits here. Last Saturday we hosted a party of ten birthday dinner for my mom. All diners enjoyed their meal.
My friend and I both ordered the halibut, which was well prepared but a little dry and really could have used a sauce or salad, the overall dish was a little lackluster
Amazing meal!! Rich is so talented... We had the deviled eggs and bacon, and the burata with blood oranges, pomegranate seeds & pistachios - both were fabulous. Then we had the prime rib with peppercorn sauce and brussel sprouts - perfectly cooked, crispy on the edges, great sauce, and the sprouts were crispy, melted in your mouth. Loved everything!!!!
We live in the area and it was our first time trying this restaurant and I may add, the last. Very noisy, waiter was very nice. Very pretentious menu. I choose the butternut squash tortellini, and my wife picked the salmon entree. we received water with on ice. stale Pepsi soda, it took over 25 min. to get our food. My tortellini had 5 pieces in a very large bowl. I actually went out to another place for food afterward. My wife said her salmon was very bland and could not finish it. A total let down. I tipped the waiter generously because it's not his fault.
Great find. Very gourmet with lots of variety. Great beer selection as well.
