One of my favorite restaurants, but felt the food was not up to par this time. The pork chop, one diner had, was way overcooked, nearly burned. My chicken was really tough, not tender as usual. Service good as usual.

Food was very good but it was very busy due to a local concert on our particular night. Due to this condition, our service was a bit slow.

The crab dip appetizer was very good. I don’t how you screw up a burger for lunch but it was accomplished. Tasted like vinegar. Yuck..
I’ve been before will give them another try. Definitely disappointed this time as I was taking my husband there for his first time.

It is unfortunate to have to write this review. This was my husband and my first time to Spokane and I wanted to make it extra special as a birthday gift. I did a lot of research on what restaurant to make dinner reservations at after attending Garth Brook's concert. I chose the Clinkerdagger based on trip advisor reviews. There were many solid reviews but some low ones too but I liked the fact it was in walking distance to our hotel and located on the river in Spokane. Well, it started out amazing, the appetizer was excellent as were our drinks. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. The food came out very quick and this was a red flag to us. We wanted to slow down the day and enjoy our evening. When our entrees came out we were very disappointed. My husbands dish was cold and my maui maui was like leather. Our waitress came and took my husbands dish back and they simply microwaved it so when it came back it was not any better, and still a bit cold in the middle. I ate my fish because I was starving but I never finished my cold vegetables. One of the managers came to talk with us. She used the excuse that they were very busy due to the Garth Brook concert. I am unsure if this is the excuse to use. We made a reservation and they knew they were going to be extra busy. Customers should not be compromised based on this excuse. The restaurant took our entrees off the bill but we still payed for the appetizer, couple of drinks each, and a dessert. The bill was still 95.00 US funds and we walked away hungry. We frequent Vancouver, B.C. often and are so used to exemplar service and food. I think the restaurant should have covered the entire bill. So disappointed in this restaurant's food but the atmosphere and location are spectacular.

Good evening. Our waitress was great, however host in the bar was aggressive when trying to wait for our table. Steak was under cooked after requesting well done, but overall my Mother enjoyed her Birthday evening. I would return. Thank you!

The food was a little disapointing...
Potatoes too garlicky, pork chop overcooked, and my husband had a few bad clams in his grilled shellfish fettucine.

We live 100 miles from Spokane but were up for a drive for our anniversary and Clinkerdagger's was our destination. We made reservations on the way up which I thought was cool and convenient! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was very nice. The portions were healthy and we left full. Also we were each served a surprise creme brulee for our anniversary which was amazing!

Service was good. Steak was tasteless. I was surprised when they offered a sauce for a $42 steak. But after tasting it, realised they had little expectations for a good steak. Medium rare steaks with no flavor. Very disappointing.

Food was good, but a bit over priced for quality and presentation. Wine selection was extremely limited and average in quality. The table and seating were abismal and in dire need of replacement, which ruined the experience.

Christina, our waitress was very helpful and willing too switch a meal for me. The peppered salmon did not say it was smoked and I dont care for smoke. She changed it out for me very kindly and I really appreciated that.
She was kind to my Grandson who is four and made our evening really nice. She went beyond to make us both happy .

I am from Walla Walla Valley and am a foodie, who loves good food and wine, and being well taken care of when dining out. Our waitress was Lillie?, I hope I spelled that right,(she has relatives here). I try to hit Clinkerdagger every time I come to Spokane, and she has been our server almost every time.... The service level was is amazing, she really loves what she does and it shows!
I am a leader of a business group and so it is important that my team feels appreciated and rewarded, the experience at dinner helps send the message of thanks and appreciation I so want to convey. I'd recommend Clinkerdagger to anyone who loves and appreciates a great prime rib, steak or seafood.....and fun staff doing a great job making it all come together. What a treat! The bread that went with the meal was almost addictive (smile) and the desserts were just awesome. The prime rib was perfect!

I could go on and on....Your team does a bang up job. Thank you.

As always, I sincerely enjoyed this restaurant. Fantastic food! Never disappointed with the food. As anyone would like… If it were less expensive that would be great. :-) But… Regardless of the price I still thoroughly enjoy it and will always return.

I was mortified. We were seated and I asked if I could do happy hour. They said "Sure, but we have to move you to the bar." I was moved and then ordered happy hour drinks and food and the waitress was really rude and said, "Happy hour does not start for another half hour!" I told her we just got moved for this reason and could they make an exception, as my date was super embarrassed. She left and and old lady told us happy hour is not happening and to please leave. I will never go back, even though it is my son's favorite restaurant.

Very nice and classic Spokane. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lots of good food choices - sampler plate was wonderful, dinners vary but mostly meat and potatoes and the dessert menu is awesome! It was a full house and the noise level was very tolerable. Decor is very rich and speaks classic high end steak house. It’s a must do.

My husband and I along with my brother in law with his wife and year old daughter went to clinkerdaggersfor for my brother in laws birthday. I had been there once before and had a good experience, but not something exceptional. As a middle or lower class. When I spend 50 dollars on a meal I feel like it should be something I remember or at least enjoy. The bread they brought before the meal was great, but beware of large garlic chunks. My husband had prime rib, he like it except for the horseradish he hadn't realized was on there. To add insult to injury with the low light he could not see it on he potatoes and he bit into it again.. not happy is all I will say. My brother in law got the filet mignon that was good he had wanted to try my steak so he shared his sides with me very good mashed potatoes and asparagus. Sister in law had an appetizer she loved and child's menu chicken fingers and fries were to be expected. My plate I was very disappointed I ordered the sirloin. I like my meat medium well it was medium rare in my opinion. The fried potatoes were OK not anything I would pick of a menu and the bean artichoke was weird the beans were dry and I couldn't cut them to even put in my mouth. My husband can make a better steak. The waitress brought one refill of soda witch wasn't enough. She didn't offer dessert. Dropped off the bill and didn't come back. We went to the front and paid as my one year old niece was getting fussy. I left hungry. $60 a per person average.

 (Seattle)·Dined on October 22, 2017

We came on recommendation of friends despite some recent, less-than-favorable online reviews. The service was excellent and the food and drink were delicious. The view of the falls is quite lovely.

The Captain Morgan’s Dark & Stormy cocktail (found on the Happy Hour menu) was so good I drank two, the second in the dining room at full-fare prices. The Port Flight was an excellent accompaniment for dessert (the 30 year is insanely good on its own and makes the flight an incredible value). Both the chocolate cake and the bread pudding (with a house-made buttery bourbon sauce) are incredible desserts. Highest marks here.

The entrees were good (I had the lobster bisque, which was perfectly balanced and really hit the spot); however, my wife had the wagyu steak and it was “far too salty” for my wife’s palate and not cooked consistently (half of it was a perfect medium rare, the other half progressed through medium to well-done by the other edge).

When my wife sent it back, the manager visited our table and apologized for the poor execution, comped the entire ($38) entree, and told us how she wanted to be sure we’d have no regrets about coming there and only good memories. Clinkerdagger also gets high marks for this response. It’s one thing to execute perfectly; it’s quite another to fumble, recover, and make your guest feel honored and valued in the process.

We recommend Clinkerdagger without reservation — but we highly recommend you secure a reservation if you plan on going there! :-)

We frequent Clinkerdaggers several times a year. The food is usually pretty good, not anything exciting or "local." The menu doesn't seem to change much. Would be nice to see some "farm fresh" or "local" ingredients. It's definitely one of the "old Spoky" restaurants in town, with a beautiful view from the windows, no matter the time of year.
