As usually great been there many times!
Took my mom and daughter out for lunch for a girls day. View of the river was beautiful. Food was very good. Found kid friendly options for a picky 6 year old. Service was great even on a busy Saturday.
If you like fine dining this is a great place for it.
Love Clingerdagger consistent but upscale.
We went to Clinkerdagger for Inland Restaurant Week. The servings were very small. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it was cut very thin. It came out medium well - well and I had to send it back. We felt rushed like they were just turning tables over, pushing people though. Being new to the area we thought this would be an opportunity to try a few restaurants out. This is one I will not go back to.
Went in for the Restaurant Week dinners. The prime rib was better than it had been in a long time. Were really pleased with our server. Always fun to get to one of our favorite restaurants.
All was good except we were celebrating a birthday and I mentioned this when I made the reservation but we were not offered a free dessert.
I hadn't been to Clink's in a very long time, but it is exactly as I remembered it. Which is good. This place has a timeless charm that doesn't have an expiration date. It is consistently good, with none of the obvious douchey hipster crafted kale thing of the moment. Or at least if it is there, they are beating you up with it the minute you walk through the door. This place is unique and it's no wonder why this place is still around after all these years, while others fail after a year or two. Whether it for a special occasion, an intimate dinner for two or drinks after work with friends, Clink's has you covered. Reservation are a must here. Ask for a river view table.
I went for Restaurant week, and had the prime rib. Cuts we're so thin- I could have had a similar cut for under $20 at Black Angus. If the idea is to bring people in to try your food, so they come back in the future, you missed the mark. Left feeling like we had a low end meal that had been way over priced. We have reservations to take friends there to eat this Saturday, but after eating there last Thursday we will be canceling them. We had a group of 6 last Thursday and all restaurant week options we're tried. The chicken was dry and the salmon was probably the best, but the person who ordered it said there was nothing special about it. We paid a good size bill for 6 people, and no one was impressed with their meal. We have since ate at Cedars twice and Beverly's once during Restaurant week, and found both to be superior to our meal at Clinkerdaggers. We will replace our Thursday night reservation at Clinkerdaggers with a reservation for Cedars, since we found the view as good and the food much better.
My salmon was undercooked; my husband’s prime rib was over cooked.
Quite pricey for us. Not a place we could frequent too often. Ordered short ribs.. got 1/2 of one rib!! really?
I can’t remember our servers name but she was beyond amazing! She was attentive and always smiling. She said she had been working there for 10 years I believe! It was a great time but the bill added up quickly lol.
Went on a Sunday evening, very busy. Waited 10 mins even though we had a reservation. Appetizer was great, as was salad. Both my Husband's and my steaks were just slightly undercooked for what I believe was our appropriate asking temp. Our service was lacking. Our server tried, she just seemed to have to many tables being sat at the same time and was unable to balance without one (us) falling through the cracks. We will go back, will probably adjust our ordering accordingly.
The service was subpar with the waitstaff not refilling water or checking to see how things were going after the initial delivery of the food. The cost of the meal was at the high end for Spokane and comparative to higher end Seattle prices but without the ambience one would expect from spending $100+. Have been here many times over the years but will not be coming back as there are other great restaurants in Spokane for similar or lesser prices and better service and ambience.
Everything about this place was great. Excellent service, great food, and a great atmosphere. A bit pricey for a normal night out, but well worth it!
Well worth the cost.
My family and I went to Clinckendaggers earlier this month, as a late celebration for my Birthday. As people say it was very spendy, 4 dinners, 2 cocktails, 1 soda, 2 salads, 1 bowl of soup, and an appetizer and the cost was a whopping 3 bills.
The food and entrees were wonderful, the cocktails were really good, not to much alcohol nor to much of the mix.
Our waiter was very attentive, cheerful, and friendly.
Our drinks came out in a timely fashion as well as everything else.
Clinckendaggers was my choice of places to go for my birthday dinner, it was well worth it.
Thank you to All the staff at Clinckendaggers for a wonderful evening and meal.
First of all the manager almost knocked me over stomping around. Then she was cussing about someone at the host stand, that was my 1st impression...next to the guy complaining about his wait. We were sat with 0 view but in a booth. Our server was great but drinks were so slow. Also mahi special was dry and awful. Lobster bisque was wonderful though!! As we exited we could hear all the drama of wait staff?? For those prices you really should do some training or re-hiring. 200 bucks for a way below average place.
Our waitress was awesome, the food was great, overall experience was wonderful
This was our first time visiting. We had WONDERFUL service and it was great food. A little bit on the expensive side. The only thing that I wasn't too impressed with was the tables really were not that private. We sat next to a couple with a young child and it was kind of disrupting our date. Not that we have anything against families or children, but the child was crawling all over, screaming and was throwing things around and spitting food out. Kind of killed the Romantic date we were going for. Other than this the view was amazing. Will visit again.
Always a good choice for a nice night out.
If was fine
Fabulous food and service. Salmon was amazing as was the Meatloaf Wellington. Highly recommend!
We love the view of the river and ambiance. However, we have been there twice and disappointed both times with the food.
We both ordered club sandwiches at our most recent visit. One side was slightly burnt. But the biggest complaint was it had obviously been made ahead and was not fresh. The toasted bread was cold and soggy and the other ingredients were mushy. Extremely disappointed.
Great service and experience as always. Save this spot for a romantic getaway once in a while due to being great food options and cozy environment.
Wonderful service! The food was absolutely delicious and dessert was heaven. Would recommend to family and friends and definitely will tell people about the wonderful experience.
Great Valentines Day dinner. Loved the prime rib- juicy and delicious. Husband loved the sole stuffed with crab meat. Good wine and husband enjoyed the IPA beer. Had asked for window table for a 5:30 pm reservation but none available verlooking falls but we’re very happy with the window table in the annex area with the large windows looking outside. Service was okay but not fantastic. Probably due to the crowds out for Valentines Day dinner. We have eaten here several times for dinner since moving to the area from the SF Bay Area and every time we’ve enjoyed the experience. We will be back again.
Went for Valentines Dinner. Fabulous service. Food is always perfect. I had prime rib my wife filet mignon. Both meals were cooked to perfection. As every other time we have been, this time did not disappoint. We both highly recommend Clinkerdaggers. Its amazing.
Nice fresh salad, French onion soup, good bread, nice service and fabulous crepe brûlée.
Valentine’s Day with family
had lunch for my 65th birthday! fantastic food and service. Thanks to all.
Clinkendaggers was a great place to eat. Our reservations were for 7. They didnt get us in till 7:30. The did comp with an appetizer. Food was superb.
Always a go to on special occasions. Sometimes to meet n greet friends in nice quiet atmosphere where staff is friendly and just the right amount of service.
WE do love your restaurant for special occasions. Our visit this time was good however it could have been great. our sever Nate #6019 was not very personable, we tried to connect but for some reason that did not happen. I tried joking with him a few time and it was met with cold response. Example he asked if we wanted some bread and I told him please we need a lot because we don't have any! referring to we had no money. Our two grandchildren 14-10 thought he did not get it because of how he reacted so I asked him did you get it? Cold response YES! Not funny I guess. When paying for our meal We had two gift cards $20.00 each Nate said I don't think I can take more than one per table but I will ask. I told him that it did not mater to me one way or the other . He came back and said only one card per table and I said thank you anyway but that was your tip! Jokingly. Nate shrugged his shoulders and walked away like no big. I was a little taken back at his response. I did leave a generous tip to Nate, more than he properly deserved. Our bill was $220.00 before tax and my tip was $39.00. Maybe Nate was offended by my comments? You asked so that was our experience for my wife and I. we both thought it would have been a better experience with a more personable sever.
A romantic atmosphere overlooking the beautiful falls. The food was amazing and our server was a delight. She went out of her way to make sure everything was just right.
Had gone to Clinks for years before moving out of town and constantly talked it up to my wife whom I had never taken. The opportunity arose for a trip back to Spokane and she insisted on me taking her there. It was a perfect time to see the sun setting and the colors shift along the river. When being seated it sounded as though the hostess changed our seating location from one location to another (can't verify this) and I didn't think anything of it. End up being placed at the one table in the entire restaurant with no view of the river despite two tables near by being vacant for 1.25 hours as we ate dinner.
Thankfully my wife's food was quite enjoyable and she seemed happy with it; however, it has been a long time since I've had Ahi that didn't taste clean, overall the meal was beyond sub-par for what I considered to be one of the best in town. Come to dessert and the Burnt Creme is actually burnt, not caramelized, with a solid 3/4 inch wide crescent band of black and had the flavor of a flaming marshmallow.
To their credit the bartender did make a good martini but it wasn't enough to convince me they have kept their standards up over the years. For the location, food, and ambiance, Anthony's at Spokane Falls is a far better option these days. Don't bother with Clinks and just head down the road a bit for a better overall meal.
We arrived while still light outside and had a beautiful view of the falls. Service and food was great, didn’t feel rushed!
Great atmosphere and service. We were celebrating our anniversary and let them know. We received extra service including a desert. Food and menu selections exceptional. We had a view of the Spokane River and falls which made the evenign extra special. Highly recommended.
Clinks never disappoints. With their new menu, we were very happy to see the standards are the same they always have been, excellent. Warm, inviting and will continue to be our "day night" restaurant of choice.
The prices here seem to have gone up and over time, some of my favorites have gone away. Corn bread has been long gone and now their spring salad with Maytag bleu cheese egg rolls and balsamic reduction is gone. So is their grapevine martini. However, they still have great steaks. The prime rib is consistently good and I love their horseradish. My wife has the Wagyu 40-day aged sirloin and it was great. She ate the whole thing which is very rare for her. Service was good and the view is amazing. Special occasion restaurant due to price, because you'll spend $90 just in entrees, not too mention extra for salads, drinks, appetizers and dessert.
