Clinkerdagger Ratings and Reviews
The food was exceptional. The seasonal menu was extensive, with numerous types of fish. While I went with the prime rib, the other members of my table chose the salmon. The plating was done well and the food itself was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our server, Lily was wonderful. She had a positive personality, paid close attention to details, and made our birthday celebration special. The food at Clinkerdagers is consistent and well prepared. Ingredients are fresh. The broadway Pea salad and burnt cream are not to Be missed. My husband had the bone in pork chop and it was moist and flavorful, I had the crispy scallops and they were very good.
Parking at the Flour Mill for patrons is free and since there was a hockey game at the event center, much appreciated.
The food was very good. My only disappointment was that despite making a reservation we wound up being seated next to the service area (at the bottom of the stairs next to the bar area) with servers and bus persons constantly rushing by our table and no view of the river.
I have been to Clinkerdaggers a few times before and was not impressed this time. I feel that each time I visit this establishment, the food continues to get worse. I had a New York strip and a side of what looked and tasted like 10 day old potato wedges and a half a cup of vegetables. The steak was cooked correctly (medium well, kind of hard to mess that up) but was scorched on one side. The place was slammed, it was a Saturday evening and my wife and I were having a nice evening which is almost nonexistent with four children. My wife enjoyed her meal and I didn’t want to ruin the evening for her by saying anything. Was definitely not worth the $42.00 steak price. I’ve had better steak from Applebee’s. If I’m going to take my wife out for a nice evening, I’ll have to look else where.
My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Clinkerdagger's. We've been going there for decades, and have never been disappointed. The food, ambiance, and service were all above average! We like to share a Point Reyes Blue Cheese salad to start, and they divided it in the kitchen, which was appreciated. It's our favorite celebration place.
Our favorite restaurant in Spokane! Excellent location. Wonderful attentive staff. We have children with food allergies and the people at Clinkerdaggers always go out of their way to accommodate our concerns about what's in the menu items. Not a cheap dinner but always feel it's well worth it. Very recommended.
I was lucky to catch the last 2 seats for 8:00 PM for Thanksgiving dinner. We got a table with a view of the Spokane Falls. Despite the staff having been running since 11:00 AM they were all smiling, friendly and efficient. The food was a good traditional turkey dinner and reasonably priced at $32 for the dinner with other places in town being $65/person. Even had some leftovers.
the scallops were the best I have had in a long time but the cheesy grits were disgusting and I love grits. the green beans could have been cooked a little longer with some more seasoning.
the ordouerves was a combo plate and it was very good! the food was very very expensive though we thought for what we got
Food was as expected for a pre-set Thanksgiving menu, meaning not great, but good, everything premade and kept warm for quick prep and serving. It was disappointing to us that the server brought us our entrees before we had finished the appetizer and taken a breath. Super rushed and noticeably so. Given the price of the meal, the overall experience was not what we had expected. We were hoping for an extraordinary experience, but no, very average. The food was oddly very rich...everything... didn't have room for pumpkin pie. Might be better on a regular weekend.
This is our second visit to Clinkerdagger and we were very satisfied on both occasions. The ambience has an old European feel, but not too stuffy. The waiters are well trained, helpful and friendly. The cuisine has always been delicious, well prepared and nicely presented. We're already making plans to return.
Clinkerdagger’s has been a favorite of ours for years. Thanksgiving meal was fabulous! Scallops and prime rib our party of 4 had, perfection! We love the ambiance. We dine there often. Looking forward to Christmas decor. The bill was surprisingly reasonable. We had appetizers and drinks with our meal. We usually have dessert but this time I prepared a fancy dessert at home for after dinner. A must try for anyone who has not been there. The waiters are very professional. You never feel rushed, they take care of your every need. It is the best place in Spokane!
Has always been a great place for fine food and a good wine list. The scenic view is great if you can get a seat facing the river. This was for a Thanksgiving diner with our son a lot of food was served, the price can go up fast if you start adding all of the extras -i.e. salad, soup, dessert, drinks.
