Food was very good and ambiance is great. Grab a drink in the bar area in the lobby. Expensive. Service was good, not great.
I have been wanting to eat at Clink for years and it was great! We had a wonderful family lunch - even the kids (5 and 2) were happy! It was a lovely Easter.
It is totally unique - those DIY Bloody Marys were inspired.
This was a special, fixed price for Easter brunch. nothing special, no pretty flowers. Over priced, felt taken advantage of, although the food was good.
Great breakfast/brunch location. One-of-a-kind setting with original detail of prison in a chic, boutique hotel. Service tends to be quite good. Food and beverage selection is great although the kitchen doesn't hit it out of the park every time. Easter brunch was a surprising $70/person and we felt this was fairly overpriced. (meat was way overcooked.) You were essentially paying for a table on Easter.
The service is exceptional (Neil). Strong knowledge of the menu. Good recommendation, interested in the guests.
The food was very fresh and well prepared. Also, the spacing of the courses...a big deal for me, was very well executed.
Portions were generous and well done.
The creme brûlée though very well done had a strong anise flavor. Many would find it very good. Though wonderfully made, the flavor was a bit too intense.
Carrot pasta with rabbit...tremendous. Kale Spaghetti very good. Great chef board with terrific cheeses.
All around really well done.
Went to Clink for brunch - Atmosphere was really relaxing, and the food was spectacular!
It is really fun to eat in a place that used to be a jail. The restoration has honored that past.
The pricing has gone up by 30-40% in the last 11 months. The portion sizes have decreased.
Service was excellent. But the lack of value means we will not be back.
Birthday Celebration for Helen!
Ben, our server was wonderful and did not rush us as 5 women caught up on things. Food was great and paper doggie bags provided! Great to see Clink aware of the need to continue using paper instead of plastic.
Ben added to our birthday celebration with ice cream and a candle!
We love coming to Clink and will continue our tradition of Birthday Celebrations with you 💌
Great for a Sunday brunch - nice offering of food selections and unique "jailhouse" atmosphere. We were staying at the hotel which made it even more accommodating.
Great ambiance, excellent menu!
This is a fun restaurant and hotel. The food and service was very good and our kids loved the fact that it's an old jail. Make sure to visit the bar - Alibi.
This was the second time for me, and the staff went above and beyond once again. Being Vegan it's not always easy to navigate a set menu that's predominantly for carnivores. Our server was more than willing to work with the Chef to accommodate. Turns out, Chef Shirley was the one who made me the most fantastic surprise dish the year prior and did it again this year! She came out to see me because a dessert I ordered could not be made Vegan as originally thought. She apologized, which was not necessary, but then offered to make me something else. Everything was fantastic. My guests were so impressed and taken back at how thoughtful and attentive the staff had been with us. I can't say enough wonderful things about Clink, but it is truly the people there that made the difference! Thank you so much. Can't wait to go back again.
great venue, great service, and the food was very good as well!!
The food was excellent but a little pricey. Waitress was very nice but didn't really know how some items were served, i.e. pureed or chunky. Great atmosphere with the jail doors leading into the dining room. Was a little loud but that's the vibe at the hotel. Will definitely return to Clink and the hotel.
We had the best experience. Food was amazing. Staff was lovely and went above and beyond. So accommodating and friendly. Can’t wait to go back
We were there for Sunday breakfast/brunch. It was a bit noisy for conversation. Perhaps some noise reduction on the ceiling or walls to absorb sound would help. This was the first time we sat towards the back of the restaurant, perhaps that had something to do with the noise. The service was great. The food pricey, but its Boston. We knew that before making the reservation. My husband was a bit disappointed because there were no crab cakes. He does love their crab cake benedicts. Overall we had a very nice satisfying breakfast...with mimosas. We will be back.
Absolutely amazing. Atmosphere was interesting, food was delicious, and staff conscientious. Will definitely be back soon
Poor service on many levels. Long waits for food. In attentive food. Great hotel and cute restaurant concept. Food is good. Nothing great but good. But service is poor. Very poor.
A little on the pricy side, but super good and trendy
Service was very slow - didn’t get much attention for our table of 7 in the corner
The food was incredible. Truly delicious dinner. Faith, the server was unfriendly and inattentive which marred the evening. I went there for dinner and then came back for breakfast the next morning. Clink excels at dinner but not breakfast.
What a wonderful evening we had! The atmosphere is so fun, the service impeccable and the food outstanding! You will not be disappointed!
Overall my husband and I had a very good experience at Clink. We felt the ambiance and decor were lovely and we had a great table. The hostess who greeted and sat us was great! Our food was excellent except for the lobster chowder, which was mostly misrepresented. It was more like a consommé with lobster and it lacked seasoning. Our favorite dish was the warm chocolate tart with dulce de leche and roasted hazelnuts. Service was lacking, we waited 15-20 minutes for our waiter and he was not overly attentive the whole evening. He also didn’t go out of his way to explain the Valentine’s special which was confusing as written in the menu. The dinner was pricey, especially the cocktails, but we did overall have a great Valentines dinner.
Overpriced by far, but quality of ingredients is good. Bar drinks are WAY overpriced. $20 for an old-fashioned?
Clink was a nice little spot for a Valentine's Day dinner. The food was very good and our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable! Had a wonderful time here, would definitely recommend. Squid ink pasta was amazing!
Good service, great food, and a lovely atmosphere! Overall a great experience!
Excellent food. Great atmosphere and service. We will definitely return.
Great experience excellent fold
Yummy food, good drinks, fun atmosphere. The waiter was very nice but definitely not the most attentive.
We are here on a Saturday night. Both of us had the filet mignon which was delicious. The service was wonderful. The ambiance was average, it looked just like the rest of the hotel so it wasn’t anything new or interesting. It was very expensive. Next time we will probably just eat at the bar and save ourselves $160. There are plenty of great places in Boston for half the price.
The jailhouse theme of the hotel and restaurant was unique, in a positive way. The service was great. My cod entre was very good, not great, but the mascarpone cheescake with roasted pear was great.
Had breakfast at Klink. Corned beef hash was outstanding as was the blueberry pancakes.
It took forever to serve our breakfast for 4 people. It was not a complicated meal (omlets)
Poor selection for vegetarians
Excellent atmosphere for business, and the conversation privacy component is most appreciated.
Clink took brunch to a new level. They took your ordinary breakfast items and creatively twisted them For example the pumpkin spice French toast had thick cut French toast sitting on a pumpkin mascarpone that was simply luscious. The pancakes not only had fruit in them, but on top of them as well and a light dusting of powdered sugar. The coffee was excellent and they leave a carafe on the table which is always a plus for us.
Had breakfast here during a stay at the hotel. Food was excellent if a little pricey. Good variety of options.
Service was ok but sporadic. Salmon was very good but the menu description was unclear.
It was great! Special night for my wife and myself.
