Poor service on many levels. Long waits for food. In attentive food. Great hotel and cute restaurant concept. Food is good. Nothing great but good. But service is poor. Very poor.
A little on the pricy side, but super good and trendy
Service was very slow - didn’t get much attention for our table of 7 in the corner
The food was incredible. Truly delicious dinner. Faith, the server was unfriendly and inattentive which marred the evening. I went there for dinner and then came back for breakfast the next morning. Clink excels at dinner but not breakfast.
What a wonderful evening we had! The atmosphere is so fun, the service impeccable and the food outstanding! You will not be disappointed!
Overall my husband and I had a very good experience at Clink. We felt the ambiance and decor were lovely and we had a great table. The hostess who greeted and sat us was great! Our food was excellent except for the lobster chowder, which was mostly misrepresented. It was more like a consommé with lobster and it lacked seasoning. Our favorite dish was the warm chocolate tart with dulce de leche and roasted hazelnuts. Service was lacking, we waited 15-20 minutes for our waiter and he was not overly attentive the whole evening. He also didn’t go out of his way to explain the Valentine’s special which was confusing as written in the menu. The dinner was pricey, especially the cocktails, but we did overall have a great Valentines dinner.
Overpriced by far, but quality of ingredients is good. Bar drinks are WAY overpriced. $20 for an old-fashioned?
Clink was a nice little spot for a Valentine's Day dinner. The food was very good and our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable! Had a wonderful time here, would definitely recommend. Squid ink pasta was amazing!
Good service, great food, and a lovely atmosphere! Overall a great experience!
Excellent food. Great atmosphere and service. We will definitely return.
Great experience excellent fold
Yummy food, good drinks, fun atmosphere. The waiter was very nice but definitely not the most attentive.
We are here on a Saturday night. Both of us had the filet mignon which was delicious. The service was wonderful. The ambiance was average, it looked just like the rest of the hotel so it wasn’t anything new or interesting. It was very expensive. Next time we will probably just eat at the bar and save ourselves $160. There are plenty of great places in Boston for half the price.
The jailhouse theme of the hotel and restaurant was unique, in a positive way. The service was great. My cod entre was very good, not great, but the mascarpone cheescake with roasted pear was great.
Had breakfast at Klink. Corned beef hash was outstanding as was the blueberry pancakes.
It took forever to serve our breakfast for 4 people. It was not a complicated meal (omlets)
Poor selection for vegetarians
Excellent atmosphere for business, and the conversation privacy component is most appreciated.
Clink took brunch to a new level. They took your ordinary breakfast items and creatively twisted them For example the pumpkin spice French toast had thick cut French toast sitting on a pumpkin mascarpone that was simply luscious. The pancakes not only had fruit in them, but on top of them as well and a light dusting of powdered sugar. The coffee was excellent and they leave a carafe on the table which is always a plus for us.
Had breakfast here during a stay at the hotel. Food was excellent if a little pricey. Good variety of options.
Service was ok but sporadic. Salmon was very good but the menu description was unclear.
It was great! Special night for my wife and myself.
We were here for Christmas, decided to get out of town. The food is simple. The owner uses locally sourced foods as much as possible, cheeses, seafood, etc. Oysters are freshest I’ve had in a very long time. If you like to indulge a bit... get the truffle fries.
It’s a small restaurant. Make a reservation and don’t be in a rush.
Domestic wines, a few Argentinian, a couple French. Know your palette and you’ll be fine. There’s two wine lists, the restaurant and the bar.
We had a great dinner which consisted of duck and swordfish. The sides were delicious and so was the desert creme brûlée. This was a great restaurant and it’s a shame I was only there once in my five years living in Boston.
My 30 year old son and I had a Christmas dinner at Clink, just the two of us. My husband was working and my other two children were away with significant others. It was a delightful meal - service was wonderful, meal was delicious and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I will bring my husband back for a quiet meal.
The food is decent but it is extremely overpriced. Idk how u can charge $25 for bacon & eggs. It’s not a thing special either. It’s 2 eggs with bacon and some toast. That’s ridiculous.
We had an enjoyable brunch. Food and drink were quite good, and our server was friendly and helpful. Service could have been a bit more attentive, especially since it didn’t seem that busy. We had to wait longer than usual for things to be brought out, for the dessert menu, the check, etc. But overall a good experience and would definitely visit again.
Family pre Christmas dinner.
My sword fish and my friend’s salmon were excellent. The other friend had a pasta that she loved for its subtle flavors. We had little time because we were headed to a show. They accommodated us perfectly. It was the only quiet place on Thursday night at the Liberty.
Waiter never checked up on us since taking our order. I had finished my cocktail before the appetizers were done and couldn’t get a refill till after dinner was over (which the hostess brought). It was not a particularly busy night. Considering the cocktails are $18, you’d think they would want to sell more of them.
Twice the waiter came over in a rush to take our order - and we didn't even have a menu to order from. This happened with both the wine/cocktail list and then again for dessert. When our Chef's plate came with cheese/charcuterie the server said that our waiter would be back to tell us what was served, and he never came. When we finally did get to order dessert I asked for the check because we were already late for our next event and the waiter never brought it over. I had to get up and find other staff at the restaurant to get our check. Disappointing experience for a rather expensive meal.
Charging $10 for a bottle of water is outrageous!
Wonderful birthday lunch spot. Surroundings are charming & quirky. I highly recommend the clam chowder. Will definitely return.
Went for Brunch. Food was very good. Service pleasant and they did not rush you. Great ambiance. Would recommend.
Food is good. Prices are high. Went there with wife and two kids for dinner prior to Beacon Hill Stroll. Kids had grilled cheese off the kids menu. Wife and I had 2 glasses of wine each. Bill with tip was $180. We probably would have had 3 glasses each, but the server (who was nice) was very slow. Place was not busy when we were there. I would have left a bigger tip had he been more attentive.
We came here for brunch. Good service from both the host and the waiter. Food was good as well. The ambience is really nice. Really enjoyed the place and food.
This was a Thanksgiving celebration for my immediate family; I am not much of a cook. The ambiance was great and we were able to have a comfortable family conversation as the noise level was minimal. The server was attentive and the food selection was spot-on for all my kids as well (aged 10, 12 and 15). My Duck plate was phenomenal!! Again next year??!!
Great for thanksgiving dinner with your couple!
Although the food was very good, we were rushed through the entire meal, right from the very beginning to the very end, and we were only there one hour!!! SO I cannot recommend I am afraid because of this....very uncomfortable feeling because of this.
Came over from a late appointment at Mass General Hospital for dinner with my wife before driving home. Arrived at 5:45 before the rush. It filled up up around 7.
Ordered duck (her) and salmon (me). Both the best we have had recently and certainly better than we were expecting. I think our waitress’s name was Julie and she was there when we needed and not when we did not.
We will return and tell others as well.
