Clifton Thai Restaurant
Very good Thai food at a reasonable price. Tony is a great host
Absolutely highly recommend Clifton Thai for best tasting Thai food. Service always top notch. My go to place to entertain guests without the hassle. Always accommodating!

one of my favorite places
The food their was very good. Staff there keep checking in on us which was great. Place was fully pack but great place to eat.
The food and service was great and will definitely return soon
Good food at a great price very friendly service
Neighborhood gem, this place is little small but the food makes the visit worth.
Clifton Thai food and service are as good as ever. Will enjoy our next trip
I booked a reservation on June 2, 2018 to experience great Thai food with my wife and another couple. We drive 20 minutes there only to discover the restaurant closed for 10 days. The restaurant and the open table system needs to rethink its operating system when one can’t trust it anymore.
We found a great restaurant that we called to rescue the evening.
Clifton Thai Restaurant is very cozy. My husband and I ate there on a Saturday night - we had made reservations through Open Table. I'm not sure the reservation made any difference. The place was packed and it wasn't like they had a table ready for us. But we were happy to just squeeze into a little 2 person table that they pulled away from two diners at a four person table. The food was excellent. Not the same old flavor/spice I've had at other Thai restaurants and they were careful to ask what level of "heat" we wanted on a scale of 1-10. I ordered the pumpkin custard for dessert and it was unlike anything I've ever tasted. Really wonderful. The service was very friendly. They were run off of their feet but still managed to pay us enough attention and to get our orders right. The ambiance is nothing special, the dishware is the most basic you could imagine. And we intend to go there again! Plus there seemed to be a steady stream of people coming in to pick up take-out.
The staff was courteous and friendly. The menu had a great variety of options, and I like that I can customize the spiciness of my dish. The food was delicious. This has become my go to Thai spot!
Great place! The owners are hands on and super friendly. The food is amazing!!
Great as usual
Great little Thai restaurant right in downtown Clifton. Just a note, you can bring your own bottle of wine; restaurant does not serve alcohol.
Mediocre at best. Went on high ratings, but food while fine was average. Decor needs attention. Staff super nice
Excellent authentic Thai food. Service was great. Only one issue, front door keeps opening not only for dinner guests which is to be expected but also for all delivery orders with drivers parking their cars right out front. Being its winter kept getting a cold draft.
Best Pad Thai! The food is always amazing here.
Delicious fresh food prepared by a family business with great customer service.
The food was absolutely delicious, including Thai salad, dumplings, pad Thai, spicy herbed chicken, and chicken curry. Staff was friendly. Food makes up for mediocre ambience. They should do away with the TV's in my opinion. Would definitely return.
Small portions but food taste authentically good. Just right for asian eaters who usually eat little, but not enough to people who are used to American-size servings.
Great value, friendly family run. Mama in the kitchen is great
Food was great. Excellent peanut sauce!
Clifton Thai is always consistently good. ?Really enjoy "Mothers" recipes
I don't know why this place is on OpenTable. There's no ventilation, they try to keep the front door open, and staff run bags of takeout to cars parked at the curb which is pretty inconvenient for the seated diners. The place is tiny so I can't imagine what it will be like in winter. We could smell grease on our clothes in the car on the way home! On a positive note the food isn't bad. I had a papaya salad which was too spicy. I was asked on a scale of 1 - 10 how hot I wanted it so I said 3. Should have said 0. Then I had vegetable pad thai which was good. My husband had tum yum soup with shrimp and tamarind duck which he enjoyed. The waiter was super busy so we didn't want to wait another half-hour for dessert. We won't be going back.
The food there is great it's made fresh. The place isn't what you would expect when looking at it, but when you are in the restaurant you forget the initial look of the outside. The staff are friendly and helpful when you have questions concert he menu. It's a small, quaint, and cozy it's a wonderful place to eat with family and friends.
No ambiance but very good Thai food and friendly waitstaff. Really enjoyed the food In this small restaurant which is a BYOB. If you are looking for value and don't mind being in a local neighborhood establishment, this is a place for you to explore....not far from Route 3 if you are shopping or going to the movies in that vicinity.
Small local restaurant that has excellent food and more than reasonably priced
true family gem. Small, seats about 25, so if had a big group, make a reservation. Had 3 appetizers and 2 main dishes for $35 plus tip
