The Cleveland Chop features steaks and the Filet Oscar was awesome. Service was spot on making for a wonderful experience!
Food was amazing and the recommendations by the server were spot on and service was fantastic! I cannot wait to go back. I work around the corner and plan on getting lunch to go too!
The steaks were not prepared as requested medium and they cam out rare the potatoes were cold as well. Will try another restaurant next time my board is in town
The mother's day buffet is always amazing, they do an outstanding job with the food and service! Margaret is an phenomenal manager who goes above and beyond for her customers!
Our waitress Jovann was very good the steak was alright meaning so, so the atmosphere was very nice I would go again.
Mother’s Day weekend celebration. Made a reservation and we were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly, timely and helpful. Food was delicious. We’ll be back!
Took my mom fir early Mother's day, we had a great time! The food was delicious! We will definitely be back. Great customer service!!!
Absolutly best steaks ever great service
Food was average
Menu is a little on the pricey end, but service and food made it worth the experience. The pork chop was great with the thai chili sauce and mashed potatoes!
We love The Cleveland Chop!!!
We have never had a bad meal or time here.
This was my first time ever at Cleveland Chop and I must say between the great service from our waitress, Dori, to the best appetizer, bacon wrapped shrimp, to the margarita, the phenomenal steak and the special birthday dessert for my friend , I will be going back again!
The food here is always great and the service is great highly recommended
Nice restaurant- lunch food good. Brunch very average.
Open table sent me a message telling me we didn’t turn up. We did! Just a little late.
We hit Cleveland Chop for a quick dinner before the Rock Hall Induction. Great food and a wonderful wine list. Our server was very efficient and took great care of us. Haven't been here in a while, but will definitely be back again soon.
I was in Cleveland on business and had dinner alone here twice in the bar area, though I was offered a table. Great food and service. Friendly crowd in a nice building. I had the bone on ribeye one night and the bone on strip the second time. Both were perfectly cooked. Great selections at the bar. I highly recommend Cleveland Chop
Food, service was excellent the steaks were cooked to perfection and very tender. Pricing is good, I consider it an excellent value compared to other downtown steak restaurants. I would recommend Cleveland Chop to all.
This was my first visit to Cleveland chop. First impression is all about the appearance, we were seated at a smaller booth that was dimly lit and provided a wonderful atmosphere for our date night. The service was excellent and our waitress was pleasant, prompt and professional. The food was good, the wedge salad was great, the braised short ribs and mashed potatoes felt like I could’ve gotten something better, and my girlfriends shrimp gnocchi was slightly dry but not bad. Our total bill came to around $100, and comparing apples to apples I think for the money there is better restaurants out there, but all in all this was a good place with a great atmosphere and ambiance. Great place to take a date!
Great service. Good food.
We had one of the most memorable evenings at the Cleveland Chop ! It all began with our server, Dori, who was just a sweetheart. Her kindness and customer service were so appreciated and she made us feel so special when she found out we were celebrating my husband's bday. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with what I would say some of the best prime rib ever! We even had a birthday dessert. The restaurant was romantic, and cozy and so relaxing. We spent 2 hours there, enjoying each other's company and the delicious food. Thank you so much for a perfect evening.
Easter brunch was delicious! Service was exceptional! The staff was very pleasant.
I hadn’t been here in a few years; but I’ll definitely be back! The brunch was wonderful....👍🏾
Easter Brunch Overall excellent. One suggestion is to label each entree in the buffet. Menu at the beginning, but some things hard to identify. With so many people with allergies to shrimp or peanuts, etc. probably safer to label.
Service was great, if you go I suggest the prime rib. Very very flavorful I actually teared up a little it was so good. I also had two delicious Bloody Mary's so that could have contributed to the tears to. Ultimately good food and atmosphere. Prices were decent.
If your looking for good food this is the place. My wife's Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and the Salmon I had was flavorful and moist. We shared a salad which they split for us and the Corn Bread was very tasty cooked in a cast iron skillet, it was quite a treat. Our server was knowledgeable and was happy to give suggestions on the food and wine selection. The Manhattan I ordered was spot on too. You will have an enjoyable evening when you decide to make your reservation here on Open Table.
Went for brunch. Potatoes that come with most entrees are not freshly prepared by the order. We learned this because they were lukewarm on arrival. The waitress offered to bring more and she did. They were also lukewarm. We inquired as to whether they are pre-prepared and she confirmed they were. So, we had to ask for fresh potatoes.
Also ordered the Oscar's lump crab omelette. There was maybe 1 ounce of crab on top of the omelette, that looked minced. There was no crab in the omelette, which appeared to be a 2-3 egg omelette. Very disappointing.
Nice enough, but not for the price. Have had much better steaks and sides. Service was good. We just happened to sit next to a very loud table.
We've gone to the Cleveland Chop on several occasions and haven't been disappointed. The service is friendly and the food delicious. Need I say more?
This was our second visit during the NCAA Wrestling Tournament. Great food and service. Open Table got us right in despite the St Patrick's Day crowd. Downtown Cleveland was packed, but they were prepared and service was terrific. Nice beer selection on tap too.
My father in law and I decided to try Cleveland Chop for a nice steak after spending some time in Cleveland. We both ordered the Prime Rib, medium rare. The color was slightly brown and not very pink, the flavor just a touch salty, but the real issue was, it was stringy and chewy, leaving you feeling like you needed to floss for hours. The mashed potatoes were very runny.
The Ahi tacos were very good, as was the cornbread and wedge salad. Unfortunately, the “Main Event” just didn’t deliver, hence the low rating. Service was excellent and the soda pop was perfect, not flat or improperly mixed.
The drinks and food was amazing- we will be back for dining in the the future!
Great steak with excellent service.
It was a nice date night meal.
Far too expensive for the quality of food
Our waitress was great. Steak cigars were delicious. Prime rib was fatty and filet was overcooked. However, the manager waived our bill. That was great but disappointing for our first visit. Customer service was better than the food. They were not busy...
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night to get a nice meal unfortunately that is not how it played out. The special for the night was a strip steak with a stuffed lobster tail. My husband and myself ordered this and we both asked for medium. I specifically asked if their medium was pink all the way through and the answer was yes. Our son ordered the filet oscar. My steak was so tough it was hard to cut thru especially since the waitress failed to give us steak knives. When the knives arrived it was easier to cut through but very difficult to chew! The waitress had another steak made for my husband because his was cooked well done but for some reason the meat was like white. Second steak came but was now rare and also was white. I know she was embarrassed and said she would ask if she could take something off. Just for the recored we are not complainers but this meal was awful. Waitress came back with our bill and nothing was offered off.
My son really enjoyed his steak so maybe they were just trying to get rid of a batch of bad steaks by teaming them up with the lobster which was nothing to write home about. The best part of the meal was the corn bread.
Our meal for THREE (3) people was $179.82 (not including the $35.00 tip to the waitress who forgot knives, forgot to take my sons wine order, forgot to change the TV at the bar so we could watch College Ball and didn't even offer a dessert or something when clearly the meal was a disaster. We didn't eat either of the steaks )plus $25.00 for parking.
Everything about this experience was wonderful. The food was incredible and the waitstaff professional. My only complaint is that the food was so good, I overate and felt a bit sick (but it really was from eating too much - nothing was wrong with the food at all). They even gave us a free dessert!
Great food, great service. Our server Brooke was awesome!
Excellent service. Did not catch gentleman's name, but very attentive and professional Server. Cool building/location with easy parking. Went for brunch. Food undesirable - frozen breakfast potatoes? Mimosas weak. 3rd time eating here and always mediocre food at best.
We had dinner during restaurant week. Service was excellent from arrival to departure. It was our first visit.
