   We have gone to Clayton’s for many years and have always enjoyed the food. We usually ask for a booth with our reservation since we know it can be quite noisy. Unfortunately none was available last evening, but they did give us one of their quieter corner tables on the porch. There was a rowdy group of about 10 young men that unfortunately distracted from having a nice dinner experience. Not sure we will be quick to return as we get older a quieter setting is more to our liking.

   Service was excellent and food was very good. Busy, noisy atmosphere but upbeat vacationers' vibes. Clayton's has been in business for many years and didn't know what to expect but pleasantly surprised.

   Table for 6 in center of dining room. Pretty noisy. Service was very prompt almost too pushy. 3 couples in party. $20 added to each of our bills for a “large party.”. Probably would have tipped more without that. Good food. Nice serving sizes. Still one of our favs but love a booth.

   I had Mahi Mahi tacos, they were delicious. I also had the macaroni & cheese it was delicious as well. I had mussels and calamari as well.

   The best experience at Clayton’s on Easter Sunday. Food was delicious. Calamari to start was amazing! Fresh catch was halibut and just outstanding! The owner and her husband were so personable and made our experience even better. We’ll be back next time we are in siesta key!

   We headed to Clayton's for our second time with great anticipation. We had a marvelous meal New Years Eve 2024 and wanted to share Clayton's with best friends. The restaurant was full when we were ushered to our table. Our server greeted us quickly and was attentive all evening. We decided to try the evenings two specials , fresh Corvina sea bass and prime rib. The Corvina was very tasty, although our friends thought theirs was slightly overcooked. I had the prime rib. It was a 14.oz cut, but was drenched in a brown sauce that hid much of the meats flavor. For $55, the cut was not up to the level of quality I would have expected. The noise level throughout our meal was excessive. Overall , we were a bit disappointed. Our first experience was much more positive. I'm sure we'll give Clayton's another try at some point.

    The food was very average. Would not return. We have a baby and were looking for a place to walk to and we were able to make a reservation very easy. We had the scallop gnocchi and the macadamia crusted grouper and both were very lack luster which was a bummer! Really good coconut shrimp tough!
