Absolutely wonderful dining out experience. Great food, great service, great time.
We both had the Eye of Ribeye. Juicy, and cooked to perfection just like always!
Our favorite Fort Worth restaurant. First visit was after a trip to France. Felt like we had returned. Wine selection; is quite good; great food - not the usual fare. Menu changes from time to time. A very pleasant place for a relaxing meal. The food is far too good to gulp down. Grilled octopus salad is too good to describe. Duck in reduction sauce and fish of the day Alaskan halibut were outstanding. Went on a Wednesday night about 7:00 PM. The restaurant was not overly crowded and noise levels were relatively low. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Fort Worth (other than barbecue and Mexican food hangouts).
Everything was wonderful and would have been perfect if my husband could have had his favorite, the pork shank. PLEASE bring it back soon!
Another excellent meal with prompt, efficient service. We will be back soon.
Everything was absolutely wonderful. Best dining experience we have had in a long time.
Great food, ambience, and service! Everything was very flavorful, made from scratch, and delicious. Cocktails were wonderful also.
I love this place. Menu eclectic but not over the top and always beyond delicious. It is my “go to” to feel good yet special.
I love eating here, it's a bit out of the center but well worth it for the quality of food and service. Everyone we interacted with on Saturday night was pleasant and seemed to want us to enjoy ourselves. The food was, as always, delicious. Great job you guys!
Great service and drinks
This restaurant always delivers great food with service to match. We have never been disappointed with our experience at Clay Pigeon. Easily one of the best restaurants in DFW.
It was our 58th anniversary. We have eaten with you many times and always pleased. This time it was very displeasing, enough so that we will be more careful in selecting in the future,
We were seated right next to a very loud and rowdy group that was quite disturbing. I would say 25 - 30, but I could not see how many since we were curtained off by a gauze curtain, which closed off sight, but certainly not noise. A man behind the curtain evidently right behind me constantly poked and bumped me. The service as you can imagine was quite slow; it took 1 and 1/2 hours to be served our main course. The waitperson was kind enough to come 1/2 hr before to tell us the large, noisy party was just being served so we would have to wait longer. Of course the large party was done and gone long before we were. At this point the kind waitperson brought 2 complimentary desserts, each different, but not selected by us. Tasted like it was made and sat out for hours. Took 2 bites; not tasty. Very disappointing experience!
My date and I loved this place!! The food was amazing! Everything tasted so good and I want to go back and try more dishes. The service was excellent. So prompt and great recommendations. Ready to go back today!
I went on a Saturday for dinner. Had the bone marrow appetizer, CP burger, shrimp and grits, and pistachio cake for desert. All the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The cocktails were of ample strength and executed professionally. The best old fashioned in the city.
Wonderful mother’s day brunch - every course was fabulous!
Mother’s Day brunch with my boys! Delicious food, perfect Bloody Mary and great service
Outstanding - as always at Clay Pigeon
Great service and food for Mother’s Day
Food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely suggest this restaurant to friends and family!
This is an outstanding restaurant with outstanding recipes, perfectly cooked with a highly attentive service team.
Family Graduation dinner. Our favorite spot on Ft Worth
One of my favorites in FW! Just amazing! Their new chef is killing it!
Food was good. Very loud people in the room. Acoustics were bad . Couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Just one table.
Had a great evening! Started off with the flatbread appetizer and beet and strawberry salad - delicious. Ordered the shrimp and grits for dinner and they were excellent. Other guests in our party had the salmon, halibut (fish special for the night) and the duck breast. Everything was wonderful!
Clay Pigeon is one of my favorite places to eat in Fort. Worth. I go here several times a month. I have never had bad service nor a bad meal. I have tried several different items on the menu and have never been disappointed. I tried bone marrow for the first time here and it was absolutely delicious. My favorite dessert is the chocolate peanut butter cake they have. I get one every time!! I would recommend anyone to try it. Of course it is a nice place to go for a date or special occasion, but the ambiance and wait staff make you feel welcomed each time that we just pop in when we want a great meal. Hope this helps anyone who was curious. Have a wonderful meal!!
Food was good, not exceptional. Overall, was expecting a bit more. I had the strip steak with roasted mushrooms and whipped potatoes. The steak was cooked well, however, it was a bit over seasoned. Mushrooms and potatoes were average. The pear and bacon flat bread was the lone exception, we really enjoyed that.
Very cool place! Portions were very tiny and drinks were almost too complex, but the smoky tequila drink was very good!
The clay pigeon is one of our favorite places when we are in the Fort Worth area. I think that our only comment would be is that the noise level is very high within the restaurant and it is hard to visit with all the background noise
Looked forward to dining at Clay Pigeon and it did not disappoint. Food was fantastic and our server very pleasant. The restaurant had an industrial interiror and a great energy level. Great wine selection too! Will definitely return.
All staff were helpful! The bar tender was very creative and knowledged! The food was yet again top notch and rememberable. Try the grilled quail!
Really exceptional food. The bone marrow appetizer is succulent. Salads were definitely unique and main course was spot on. I had the halibut and Lydia had the pasta with beef ragout. Not cheap but great for a special occasion. Chef Marcus Paisley rocks.
This is the best food in Fort Worth as far as I can tell but that's not saying much since Ft Worth is a devoid of good food generally.
Best restaurant in Fort Worth. No question. Lovely neighborhood dining. Excellent service. Creative food preparations. Excellent wine list.
I typically don't leave reviews but Clay Pigeon really stood out. The service was great, the food was awesome and the drinks were tasty. I would definitely come back.
Clay Pidgeon is a relaxed top notch restaurant; creative classic food with an excellent palate of flavor and presentation. Service was equally tops!
Great service. Really amazing menu and the wine list was great as well
Very good food with a nice variety, selection. Staff is attentive, friendly and professional.
We visit often, the service is always great, we usually ask for Mathew, Diane is great too. The lamb chops are always my favorite.
Great food, especially apps and drinks!
It was our first time there and it was wonderful. I would recommend the Clay Pigeon to anyone who is looking for a wonderful evening out.
Wedge salad with duck confit was really good. Leaving off the onions made it more tasty.
Quinoa salad was also wonderful. Took home the recipe.
Steak and salmon were both prepared exactly as desired, and were really good.
Waitress was friendly and accommodating.
