Great service. Really amazing menu and the wine list was great as well
Very good food with a nice variety, selection. Staff is attentive, friendly and professional.
We visit often, the service is always great, we usually ask for Mathew, Diane is great too. The lamb chops are always my favorite.
It was our first time there and it was wonderful. I would recommend the Clay Pigeon to anyone who is looking for a wonderful evening out.
Wedge salad with duck confit was really good. Leaving off the onions made it more tasty.
Quinoa salad was also wonderful. Took home the recipe.
Steak and salmon were both prepared exactly as desired, and were really good.
Waitress was friendly and accommodating.
Our group of 8 had great service, cocktails, and food. It was a delightful experience.
Everything was great from checking the menu, making reservations, valet parking, table wait time, bar seating before dinner, food and service. Have already told others about our experience. Is on the list for a revisit.....Thanks for all.
It was OK. Steaks are probably best bet. The service is very good. Pork chop was dry, lamb shank was alright. Pretty good wine selection, but they were out of my first 2 choices. Probably won’t be back
Great service and the food was Fantastic!
Delicious food and unique atmosphere in Fort Worth!
Clay Pigeon consistently serves noteworthy dishes that never disappoint.
We were SO excited to try and SO very disappointed. The menu is just not fabulous at all. Struggled to find an appetizer. Selected the short rib which was extremely tough and overlooked. The slaw was good as a garnish. Short rib should certainly not be tough. Flatbread was burnt, brought out a charcuterie board to make up for it. Thank you! Sent Margarita back twice. Gave up and ordered vodka soda. The French Onion soup was truly inedible. HOW???? Neither of us had more than a bite and waitstaff didn’t notice. Salad was great. Left hungry and disappointed. I hope the new Chef makes serious changes to the menu and quality. We will try one more time if she creates a new menu. We REALLY wanted to love. PRECIOUS space and fabulous vibe. Fix please!!!!
Matthew was the BEST! Our group had a wonderful night. Food was 10/10. Great wine list. Such a great place - one of my FW faves for sure. It's a little loud but they've improved acoustics since my first visit for sure!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. We wanted to take our time and enjoy ourselves, and everyone was very accommodating. Food and drinks were delicious. We'll definitely be back.
For the price, decor and ambiance the restaurant is built around the noise level was so high it was a major distraction and a negative for the experience.
Good service. Nice ambiance. Mediocre food.
The food was too salty for me.
We trusted our bartender and waiter’s recommendations and were not disappointed! Presentation was excellent and the food lived up to the hype. Clay Pigeon is quite lucky to have Bria in charge- very excited to see what she does with such an already wonderful Fort Worth establishment!
As always, the food is excellent. The lobster ravioli was amazing! The mushrooms are always terrific! The brussel sprouts were very good! My girlfriend had the burger and that too was delicious! The Spiced Thai cocktail was excellent as well! The service is always very informative and friendly. They are also very prompt and have the knowledge to answer any of your dining questions.
Very nice decor and great wait staff. The restaurant was so cold with the AC blowing strong. The waitress immediately turned off the air to our section which made dining much more comfortable. I had the strip steak which was less than an inch thick (only 10 oz) and costs $45. At that price I thought it was going to be great, but it was only mediocre and over salted. Just not worth the price.
Love this place it’s a must try. Friendly staff amazing food!!
Tried something new! Bone marrow appetizer was surprisingly good if you can get past knowing what it is. In the future, I would get one for each diner. We split one and I wanted more. We both had the wedge salad which was perfectly proportioned. Bride had lobster ravioli and I had the blackened redfish. Both were delicious and devoured. Topped off with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Yellow label and a blackberry tart. Nice.
Excellent food and wonderful service in an unassuming location. Local gem.
The restaurant was nice enough. The service was great, ambien etc. Was awesome. My problem is the food.
I went for valentines day and well just wasn't wowed. They had a special menu created. The appetizer was delicious, the salad was not my thing but thats on me. Problem to me was the steak. It was boring.
The steak was done very basic and just had a piece of garlic butter on it when it came. The mashed potato were bland with nothing in them and so were the brussel sprouts. This is a meal i could have gotten at a very cheap steakhouse and probably been more excited about it.
The hazelnut cake though? Oh boy that thing was awesome.
Valentine’s Day was great! Unfortunately the Lobster ravioli was not as expected —but the quality of the Lobster was great.
Valentine's Day date, dinner was the prix fix menu. Atmosphere is perfect, service was outstanding.
Course options were interesting, with the main course being either a ribeye or lobster tail ravioli (one large ravioli with the entire tail inside).
One problem, my wife got the lobster and it was cold - seemingly still frozen? They took it back, apologized, but I was then staring at my steak for maybe 20 minutes until a new ravioli arrived. Kinda thought with only 2 options that night, they'd have another one readily available. When it did come, it was delicious.
Mistakes happen, but we were surprised when we received the bill and nothing was comped. At this price point, I would've expected an apology from the manager, maybe the chef, and something comped.
All in all, it was still a wonderful setting and great food.
The spinalis when available is fabulous. The bone marrow as well as the beef tartare are great as well. I Have been a couple times and the servers and bartender were great. Hidden gem gem and prices are very reasonable.
Had a delicious meal! Clay Pigeon never disappoints!
We've never been disappointed or underwhelmed by the food or service at Clay Pigeon. The food was outstanding as was the service. Truly one of our favorite restaurants in any city. Highly recommend!
It was great, it was our second time to dine here, it’s now become one of our favorites.
This was my father‘s 82nd birthday. It was marked on the OpenTable reservation. The waitress verified when she came to the table that it was her birthday. At the dessert course we reminded her it was a birthday party. However, she never acknowledged to the birthday boy that it was his birthday, and made no effort of any type of celebration at all.
The chef walked around and read every single table behind us except ours. Perhaps it was his friends, but instead of enhancing our dining environment, it made us feel like we were being left out. Not the way we want to celebrate an extremely wonderful wife!
Instead of feeling honored, we feel humiliated. We will not be back.
Amazing Chef Marcus Pasley delivers exceptional fine dining and wonderful ambiance.
Clay Pigeon is always great go-to for dates and special occasions. Fantastic food and great service every time. Matt's been our waiter several times and has never disappointed.
As usual, a great neighborhood destination. We go there at least monthly and always have a great experience. It’s perfect for us.
Long story short: my boyfriend and I have been coming here for years. I always get the same special when we do. Tonight I specifically asked about that special and was told they didn't have it tonight. A few minutes later I hear another server telling another, larger table about the exact special I asked about. Our server went to the kitchen to ask again and came back to tell us the kitchen was saving that special for the other, larger table just in case they wanted to order it. It was not the server's fault (Kevin was excellent) but I was sorely disappointed in the decision of the kitchen and the management. Next time we want to spend three hundred dollars on a meal we'll spend it elsewhere.
Everything went well except for my girlfriend wanted the spinalis ribeye steak which they feature probably 99%of the time, she asked for it they said they were out of it, then we heard a waiter feature it to his table near us and we asked our waiter about it he said he’d go check again then informed us they had it but were only serving to that table only, I felt terribly for the waiter the management had no spine as they sent him out to tell us about why we couldn’t have it, not one visit from management to explain or apologize they just sent the server out there on an island to “deal with it” because they were too scared to. Really just a poorly handled situation by the management all around, server was great, wish the manager had some onions to come out and explain the situation maybe apologize maybe explain the situation to us but hey some people are just afraid to deal with decisions they made good or bad, I will never come back it’s a shame bc I loved this place, a completely avoidable situation if handled appropriately good job management y’all deserve a thumbs down, keep hiding and avoiding the bad job you’re doing, congrats
Had one of the best wines recommended by our server and the Somalia The food great. wonderful starters as well. Had a great ono fish, salmon was ordered and the men get the chef cut steak... yummm
Small get together with friends. No problem adding an additional person to resv when we showed. Great drinks, food and ambience. It’s was 7 men...very loud and obnoxious table. Our waitress was very patient and pleasant. Can’t wait to go again!!
Had dinner here before the FW rodeo and as always the food was outstanding! The cocktails are also some of the best I’ve had, which is a perfect compliment to the amazing meal.
First, the service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Second, the charcuterie was wonderful, the wine was presented nicely, and the Pear & Frisée salad was fresh and had a great texture, and the Porterhouse (which we split :)) was amazing.
