   Food was great. Unfortunately they did not have the table I reserved on opentable. We had a new server who knew nothing about the wines, then got the cork stuck in the bottle after she tore off the top of the cork. I’ll try it again for the food sometime.

   The restaurant got very busy right after we walked it. There was a mix up with who should serve us. The waiter tried his best but forgot a few of our requests. However, he was very apologetic.

   Have eaten here several times and the food is always good. Our last visit was at 4:00pm and it seemed they didn’t have enough staff. While the waiter was nice he was extremely slow as was the kitchen.

   We ate here to watch our daughter dance in the holiday parade and it was very nice. We had front row seats for it while we ate and had drinks. We will be back.

   Very nice and central location to main street by the water. Decent ambiance as it was not too loud and we could talk to each other. The food was good, not great... Beware as the menu is a wide variety of options -- Calamari was very good, tacos we're good -- again nothing outstanding. It was a nice restaurant, good service, and accommodated our party of 10 on a busy Saturday.

   Clasico is always terrific, and happy hour there is the best deal in town.

   We arrived at 6:15 and told the server that we had tickets for the theater at 8 at FST which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk. We did not get served until 730 and when we asked earlier about our food, the server told us that she had no control. It just depended when everything came out of the kitchen. They were full but obviously could not handle the amount of people they had. I have eaten there before, but I would not go when you have someplace else that you have to be.

   Two of the four meals were just okay. The other two were very good, especially the recommendation of the server. We’ve had better experiences at this restaurant. We hope this isn’t a trend here.

   Stopped by Clasico on a Friday night for pre-theatre dinner. We were able to take advantage of their Happy Hour drinks and food appetizers that are very reasonably priced at $7. The seared tuna and risotto appetizer was excellent. The main courses of fish (grouper) and chips and the veggie burger were very good. Prices overall are very reasonable, given the food quality and the downtown Sarasota location.

    Went before the opera matinee performance. There are Sunday brunch items including special pricing on sangria, mimosas and Bloody Marys. You can order breakfast type brunch items or sandwiches, salads etc. All four meals ordered were tasty and ample. Warm goat cheese salad is great. Just around the corner from the Opera House. Our go to cafe before the show. Good value, good food, nice ambiance.
