In a casual yet elegant atmosphere, set in a recently remodelled century old historic train station, Claire's passion is great food and outstanding service. Offering contemporary American cuisine - local, seasonally focused - with a Southern flaire. The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings.     Claire's never disappoints. My friend and I meet at Claire's from different parts of Virginia frequently and always enjoy on of the always delicious salad, whether it's the shrimp, salmon or chicken. Everything runs smoothly because Claire keeps a close eye without ever being intrusive. This restaurant can serve as a model of how service and food should be.

    We were served lunch outside with excellent service and delicious food. they even provided us with a small sample of champagne as we were celebrating our 45th anniversary. Well worth the hour trip to Warrenton.

    I've recommended Claire's to friends for more than 20 years. There has never been a single complaint about anything at Claire's. The fact that these people continue to frequent Claire's is a strong indication just how good this restaurant is.

    Just a little bit noisy, hard to hear across the table. Would be nice to have a little more seclusion from the rest of the restaurant but the food is always good so it’s hard to argue. Better to eat later then the noisy cackling folks leave around 8:30.

    The place is very nice and rustic. We were seated quickly. The service was great. The bread is awesome. The meal and dessert was fabulous. A1 rating for my family. Our go to place.

    We got the quiche which was a special for the day and it was delicious. We also got dessert crème brûlée and a bread pudding. Also delicious we did get a cocktail which I cannot remember the name of when I ask if there was a sangria on the menu, we got something similar to sangria, but it was delicious. Also it was a great day for lunch old friends meeting up after many many years.

    We were 3 friends gathered for an annual reunion, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Claire’s on a Friday afternoon. We each ordered a cup of she-crab soup—a must have! Then salmon and crab cake entrees, followed by crème brûlée for dessert. All perfectly prepared and enjoyed to the fullest! The dining room at Claire’s is a favorite of mine because there are crisp, clean tablecloths, and the service is always the best when we visit. Choose this restaurant for any occasion and I’m sure you will not be disappointed!

    Always enjoy dining at Claire’s. There were four of us and each of our meals were delicious. We had the She-Crab soup, smoked turkey Reuben, Honey-glazed Salmon, Roast Beef sandwich with Au Jus and Beet and Goat Cheese salad. Everything was so tasty! Claire stopped by our table and chatted with us. She is so delightful! Service, ambiance very nice. What a gem in Warrenton. .

    Excellent menu options. Smaller menu means the chef can focus and perfect all of the dishes. Portions were large enough. I see the next questions and have already recommended Claire's.

    Claires is our go to resturant in Warrenton for special occasions. The food is always wonderful and delicious. There are always vegetarian options. The servers always go above and beyond d to make the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend.

    It was such an amazing lunch. We traveled from Boca Raton, Florida to attend a nearby wedding. We had the afternoon off, so we decided to trust Open Table for a restaurant selection. Claire’s was approximately 30 minutes from our hotel & we decided to go. Thanks Open Table. This was such a great restaurant from the ambience, to the impeccable service and friendly host, to the best roast beef dip sandwich I ever had. My wife really enjoyed her meal , Thai chicken salad. She ate it all even though she said she wasn’t even hungry. We decided that even if the wedding that evening wasn’t good, it didn’t matter because we had such an amazing experience at Claire’s.

    Claire's never disappoints. The food is wonderful. The Angus Filet is melt in your mouth good. It was my sisters birthday, and they brought her a crème Brule' with a candle. The bread is baked fresh, and the service is excellent. Alexandro was our server, and he was very attentive.

    We are never disappointed with Claire's - always an excellent experience from start to finish! Make sure to get a reservation far in advance of when you want to go - they are always booked! Wish they would bring their Sunday brunch back.

    The Mahi Mahi was outstanding!! I think you must have par baked it before finishing it on the grill....right?? The mango lime salsa was a perfect match!! Ofcourse, the cilantro rice was the perfect match and also perfectly cooked!! Cheers to the cook and the staff!! Well done!

    We've been to Claire's many times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous, the food and drinks are delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. It is just a terrific place to meet friends for lunch or dinner, or to celebrate a birthday or another special occasion with family. We've introduced a number of our friends to Claire's and they love it as much as we do.

    Best meal we have ever had at Claire's. The Wicomico oysters were beautiful. Didn't touch the cocktail sauce. Plump and tasty oysters need no sauces! We usually order the chef's specials and did this time. The scallop dish on polenta with vegetables et al was out of this world. The dessert special was cocoanut cake. Had to be, by far, the best cocoanut cake we have ever eaten. Service by Jodie was excellent. The Grey Ghost Chardonnay went perfectly with the scallops. We still marvel a day later on how much we enjoyed our meal. Claire's remains one of our go to places for fine dining. The restaurant has never disappointed.

    Always fabulous, food and service. We had reservations and we’re celebrating a friend’s birthday. They forgot and when I called them about 5 minutes after my husband and I were seated they said it would take about 35 minutes to get there. I informed the hostess and she said no problem just seat and enjoy till they get here. Everyone was just wonderful.

    We had 845 reservations on a Friday night. We got there early and went to the bar and had a couple drinks. Daniel, our bartender, suggested a really nice wine and I’m glad I took his suggestion, … outstanding wine. They ended up sitting us early in a corner in the fine dining area, and the place was packed. Julie was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. For restaurant week, they had two different selections. My date selected the Caprese salad, the salmon and crabcake, and a lemon cake. All of it was outstanding. I decided to order off the menu and selected coconut shrimp to start, the Veal scaloppini  for the main course, and chocolate cake to finish. Highly recommend you make reservations and we are definitely coming back!

    I would have given the restaurant five stars for everything, but I specifically booked the reservation saying I was celebrating my 70th birthday and it was never acknowledged by the staff. I privately messaged the restaurant and received an apology saying that they were very busy. As a consolation prize, they said I could claim my birthday crème brûlée the next time I come in. I only have one 70th birthday and was very disappointed, but I have to say that the Tres leches dessert was heavenly and I’m happy I was able to share a delicious piece with my husband in celebration. The food here is always top-notch and the service is usually excellent.
