The coconut cake was a little dry and not something I would order again. I love the key lime pie that you used to have on the menu. Overall, I think the food is very good.

Excellent dining experience. While visiting the area for the weekend, we decided to try Claire’s. We were certainly not disappointed. Service and food were exceptional. There is a perfectly quaint historical feel to the restaurant which is exactly what you would expect in historic downtown Warrenton. I highly recommend you try it out. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day for brunch and the second visit was just as great as the first. Top notch brunch as well.

Claire's at the Depot is our favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is excellent. Specials are creative and presentation is beautiful. We were able to eat outside on the patio for the first time this season - the gardens were lovely. If you go, don't miss the Claire's crab soup. It's the best!

Claire's is always delightful, the food delicious, the service - is very friendly and personable and the servers are attentive, and if they don't know something (but they generally do) happy to ask...We love going here and sitting at the bar for drinks and appetizers and also to sit in the lovely dining area for special occasions. If you go the steak frites are delicious, as is the she-crab soup - I'm not even big on crab and I love it, my husband had crab cakes - and they were wonderful.

I’ve been toClaire’s a number of times. I’ve been there for women’s lunches, anniversaries, birthdays and it has never failed as a great dining experience. I love Claire’s. As a matter of fact, my best friend and her husband make a special trip out here from Arlington just for lunch at the restaurant. The menu is not extensive, but there is plenty to choose from and all the ingredients are fresh and very nicely presented. I’m so happy Claire’s will be here in Warrenton for a few more years with its lovely ambiance.

My husband and I recently visited Claire's to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The food was fantastic, and everyone at the restaurant treats you like family. They truly care about your dining experience and want you to enjoy every aspect of the restaurant. Claire's is a gem in Old-Town Warrenton, and we will be visiting again very soon!

One of the nicest restaurants that I have visited in the whole Northern Virginia area. Great ambiance, delicious and innovative food, and perfect service.

Everything was excellent. Online reservation was for 12:30....system screwed it up and made for 1:15. May want to correct it

Everything we tried from the menu was delicious. Loved the atmosphere at Claire’s.

On line reservation issues with open table. Easily corrected with outstanding staff that took the initiative. This is one of our caforite places in the area.

We've been to Claire's several times and never disappointed with the food or service. We live in Fairfax it takes us about an hour to get there. It's worth the trip.

It is a lovely dining room especially when you can overlook the garden. The only real down side is that is too noisy in the dining room. It would help if the noise level were low. Food is great...seevice is good....wine list could be expanded and include some good house wines.

Four delicious entrees were selected..Duck Quesadilla with Brie was delicious accompanied by perfectly spiced black beans, Salmon Salad cooked to perfection, Tuna Wontons an incredible staple dish that's always fresh , and Seafood Stew loaded with an ample amount of wonderful
Shrimp, scallops etc! Divine chocolate cake with candle for bday girl topped off the meal...
Gracious service from the waitstaff and nice warm greeting from the hostess to the lovely decor all set the tone for a funfilled lunch and Italian prosecco and Pinot Grigio add to the Festivities!!

Spur of moment solo Sunday brunch. I’m in short walking distance. Sat at the uncrowded bar. The barkeep was attentive and amiable. Ordered bowl of she-crab bisque followed by a pair of perfectly rare grilled tenderloins of beed served à la Eggs Benedict. Then I had the superb warm mixed berry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with a cup of good coffee. The whole experience - staff cordiality, ambience, and excellent cuisine- was first rate.

We have always have friendly, efficient staff, delicious meals (although this time my corn beef was not hot, but the other three entrees ( beef fillet, fish fry & burger)were perfect.

We love the atmosphere, the table cloths & the usual cloth napkins ( although this time napkins were paper).

We look forward to our next visit!

Excellent as always. Food was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. This restaurant never fails.

I chose the beet salad, and the grilled shrimp and grits with andouille sausage entree. Delicious! My friends all enjoyed their meals, but wished they had ordered what I did instead.

We have been going to Claire's for 10 years for date nights and anniversary dinners. The food is always outstanding. The waitstaff are neatly dressed, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We thoroughly enjoy every meal we have there. My wife had the crabcake special and I had the prime rib and as usual, both dishes were fantastic. Elegant without being pretentious.

Probably the best steak I've ever had. The atmosphere was perfect and it is a beautiful little restaurant. Our waiter was rather unfriendly and checked on us only a few times, otherwise I would give this beautiful gem five stars.

First time visit to Claire's. Went for Sunday brunch. food was fantastic, atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and professional. Will be going back.

First, our service was just right. Not too fast, not too slow. We needed extra time to decide what we wanted and our server gave us the time we needed without being intrusive.

Now on to the food.

The calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers were outstanding.
The bread was crispy, warm and just the right texture.
The arugula salad was just superb.
The Old Fashion house specialty drink was one of the best Old fashion's I've had in a long time. Very enjoyable.

Our friends both had the planked salmon which they both enjoyed.

My wife had the filet mignon , it came cooked correctly, as ordered at medium rare. Doing great so far.

I decided to try one of the entree specials of the evening. Flounder stuffed with crab meat. I've had this other at other restaurants and enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, this particular dish was very disappointing.
The flounder was very dry , dried out and too browned on the ends of the filet and the crab meat stuffing was almost non-existent.
This flounder was WAY overcooked.

Not enough of a disappointment to not return, but I hope in the future more attention will be given to the cooking time of fish dishes. Fish cooked properly is wonderful. Overcooked fish is tough, dry, and a chore to eat. I could not drink enough water to wash the dry fish down. I left half of the fish on my plate, just too dry to swallow.

Claire's at the Depot never disappoints and my Daily Special of grilled Rockfish and cauliflower cakes was out of this world.

Claire’s food and atmosphere is always wonderful. Service is normally superb but this occasion is was a bit off. I felt rushed when one of the first comments from the wait staff was “I have to get your order because we close at 2.” If the kitchen won’t take an order for a group with a reservation for 1:30 then don’t book reservations passed 1:00. Otherwise the service received was fine.

We live Alexandria and picked a midway point for the other couple and was very please with the choice

Wanted to take my best friend to a different spot other than the typical Northern Virginia Restaurants. We made a great decision to try Claire's. Our food was delish, and the staff was lovely. They even brought out our desert with a candle to wish a happy birthday to my girlfriend.

We are never disappointed by the food or service at Claire's. When we are looking for a relaxing dinner with great atmosphere, we go to Claire's!
