In a casual yet elegant atmosphere, set in a recently remodelled century old historic train station, Claire's passion is great food and outstanding service. Offering contemporary American cuisine - local, seasonally focused - with a Southern flaire. The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings. A rotating selection of craft beers is available on tap, and the wine service is regularly expanded. Outdoor dining is available in season, and private events can be hosted in one of several areas in the restaurant. Awarded "Best of Warrenton" every year since 2006.

    Claires' meal was delicious. The Salmon, Wahoo, Bourbon Shrimp Alfredo, and steak were spiced perfectly. The Salmon and Wahoo contained a generous portion. The service was exceptional. We were there for a special occasion and had a very special meal.

    Totally full restaurant, but after slight delay in seating at requested outside garden we totally enjoyed the evening. The band was great as background in the beautiful surroundings without overpowering sound. The drawback on service was asking for a plate with each service after saying we were sharing all the. selections. Always have enjoyed the irregular visits to this train station restaurant ambiance and great food but the garden experience was fantastic.

    My husband and I went to Claire's at the Depot to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. It was our first time going, and the experience far exceeded our hopes and expectations! We had the coconut shrimp as a starter - delicious! My husband said his filet was "phenomenal- the best I've ever had"!! Every bite of our Mojito Key Lime Pie was a "WOW"! All of the staff members were professional, friendly, and very hospitable. We will be highly recommending Claire's at the Depot to our friends, family, and anyone else looking for an exceptional place to dine.
