I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered the meatballs. They came out over cooked and dry. It's as though they were under a heat lamp for an hour. The bbq sauce was burnt. I have been very happy with City Range in the past, so needless to say I wasn't happy with this experience.
Seemed like the air conditioning wasn’t working the night we went. It was very warm in there. Our waiter was good but then he got a large party and he forgot about us. Food was great.
The margarita was pretty good. The filet mignonette was perfectly cooked and seasoned quite nicely. It’s hard to find a restaurant in Greenville anymore that can properly cook a medium steak. The salad was delicious. My only complain was the mashed potatoes. They were too wet, too much water or something. The service was good overall, it did take some time to get our entrees, but we at least had our salads and the bread is amazing!
Both our steaks were not medium rare but more medium well done. There is a good variety of entrees that sounded interesting. Maybe next time.
The most authentic lobster rolls this side of New England. So very good. Thank you!
Fantastic food as always!! The crab cakes are delicious and service was terrific
Best meat loaf I've ever had. Our friends had meatloaf and trout. It was soooo good. Great prices even for a table of 4
Great service, food, prices, and atmosphere!!! Would definitely refer to friends and will be a repeat customer
The food and service are always good. We were there during resaurant week and the waiter was very accommodating, my friend did not want the 3 courses and was able to order just the entree.
The decor was nice but there must not have been any Air conditioning because it was so hot in there. It was cooler outside in August then inside. My waiter didn’t seem knowledgeable few things he said was spicy were not after I ordered them. My Brussels spouts were undercooked inside yet burnt on outside. Our food was never hot but actually on the colder side. It was way overpriced and not worth it in my opinion.
Went during Restaurant week, we felt the food wasn't worth the price.
Great food and service.
Always enjoy steaks at city range! They just melt in my mouth! The only negative that frequently happens is the bread that is brought to us is not from the oven and has the consistency and taste of having been microwaved. But the waitress always replaces it with a fresh one
Our meals were served promptly and the quality of the meals was quite good. We will go back to this restaurant in the future. The service was also quite efficient and pleasant. Our server was Liz.
Loved it, loved it! My family and I enjoyed everything thing that we ordered! My salmon was perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right! Our daughter recommended that we tried the crab and onion souffle. It was served with crustinis. Mmm, excellent appetizer, I truly enjoyed it. Good flavor in a meal is very important to me. Especially when I am "breaking bread" with my family and friends! We had a very knowledgeable and friendly server (Drako.👍👍) When next I am in Greenville, I will be stopping in for supper!😋
This is our go-to place every year for our anniversary. We love the food and the service is always wonderful. They give you amazing little loaves of bread to start the meal off with. Everything I have ever ordered from here has always been amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Excellent menu choices and service.
3:30 on a Saturday afternoon was not busy at surprisingly. Everyone was very attentive to me being satisfied.
Aretha was a great server and the food was amazing!
Absolutely one of the best dining experience in Greenville or Spartanburg. Well Owned, Well Managed, Well Staffed. Always an interesting and eclectic but not froo-froo menu.
Food was good, service was excellent. Salad was great, but the bowls were too small. My salad kept falling out of the bowl. In Spartanburg they serve it on a plate...just a tip. I absolutely love their garlic bread it is delicious! I had crab cakes, but I hate it when I get a shell...it’s like getting a egg shell in my eggs. Overall it’s good and the prices are reasonable. My husband had prime rib...he said it was good, but not seasoned enough. We would go back again! The waiter was great!
Service for two was lacking attention. Servers were busy with larger tables. Two top tables were awkward and noise level was too high to enjoy atmosphere. Selection and food was good.
Tuna appt.has always been a favorite.
However this time the tuna portion was maybe the size and thickness of a dime coin.
The service was outstanding, good explanation of the menu. The specials were were quality choices although I ordered the Salmon and it was excellent with a very nice buttery sauce. The other two guests had steak and they were cooked perfectly. A very nice experience.
My Wife enjoyed her meal but I asked for medium well but my 10oz Ribeye was running blood. They returned it to the kitchen which I never do and it came back well done, almost burnt. Again, I never send steaks back because I can finish it at home to my liken but my wife did enjoy her pecan topped chicken
Food was good and prices reasonable.
My friend and I ordered yummy lobster rolls. I ordered mine without bread and it seemed I received less lobster than she did. It was delicious but I felt for cost, more lobster should have been served.
Food was excellent. The wait time was reasonable, and the noise level was low possibly due to it being a Sunday evening. Our waiter was Casey. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful suggestions. He was very personable and on the spot without being intrusive - very professional. Over all a very positive experience.
Very nice restaurant. Service was excellent and food was excellent and a great value, would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Although the food was good the quality was poor service was good our waiter was very attentive.
It was wonderful!
I took my husband here for his birthday. We are new to the area and this was our 1st time eating here. Our waiter, Scott, took great care of us. He explained everything on the menu and made great suggestions. The food was great but the service was even better. We will definitely be back.
Sunday brunch with live Jazz can't be beat! Add to it great service and great food, WOW!!!
As chain restaurants go this was about par for the course. The food was OK and the server seemed to have lost focus. She was nice enough but just harried. I was unimpressed.
Big fan of this restaurant, have rented the back room for a celebration party. Love this restaurant. Was surprised tonight with the very slow service and the inedible ribeye.
My food verged on cold. My husband liked his prime rib, but the mashed potatoes were not from scratch. We thought house salads were expensive given that they were only lettuce and tomato. Very nice wait staff though. But we probably will go to 104 instead.
Food was excellent. I would recommend going either before or after the dinner rush as it can get very noisy to hold a conversation.
City Range has authentic New England lobster rolls, they are full of lobster meat and delicious. This is what I had Father’s Day. My husbands steak was average, not a lot of flavor and a little “chewy”. The French fries were more soggy thank fresh and crisp. The salad was also average. Service was ok for a busy day and we had no problem with the wait. Your bartender makes awesome Sangria!
Busy Father's day! Seated promptly, wait was longer than expected, but considering the day, we didn't mind. Loved the crab and beignets starters. Steak and eggs entree delicious. Great time!
CityRange is in my top 5 favorite restaurants to eat at in Greenville. Food and Service are always great!
