Dinner, as usual was incredibly delicious. I had the skirt steak and mushroom risotto and it was phenomenal. My husband had the braised lamb shank and it was fall off the bone tender. Service is impeccable as was our entire visit.

We went to City Gate to celebrate my sons birthday and brought my parents (their first time out since Covid)-we went early to avoid crowds and get in and out quickly. The server was really nice, we ordered and since we were literally the first people there figured it would be quick-almost 40 min later our dinner came (we only ordered 2 burgers and 2 fillet meals (one of which was on their specials menu) The burgers were fine, the fillets very average slightly cold little to no flavor and we ordered bearnaise sauce which was also cold and had no flavor at all. After dinner they brought my son a special dessert and the dessert I had pre ordered. Each part of the meal took them quite awhile. It was restaurant week so you would think they would have been really on top of their service and their fixed menus would showcase a really top notch menu-overall really disappointed.

My husband wanted to celebrate his birthday. He ordered the lamb chops, mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had the lobster linguine! Lemon drops and Stella!!! Can’t wait to go back next month!!!

We’ve wanted to try this place for quite a while and finally got around to visiting. I had the Skirt Steak with Risotto and it was absolutely perfect. The service and attention to the customer was literally second to none I’ve ever had. Great choice if you’re in the area!

What can I say? My husband and I had a wonderful time at CityGate Grill. Great service, quiet enough so that we could talk. But, my entree was exceptional--the medallions. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go again!

Wonderful atmosphere

Very good service, the staff is very attentive and welcoming. The cocktails and appetizers were excellent. The main course was very good, the dessert was a bit of a disappointment. But that's ok. If you are staying at the Hotel Arista, this is a great place to have a quiet dinner.
