Late to serve meal. Waited an hour. Fish was bland and tasteless
I enjoyed myself. Food was great.
Very good food and a great atmosphere.
The hostess was incredibly rude when she seated us. Our server forgot things such as lemon for water, salt and pepper, butter for the toast. We had to ask him repeatedly for things.
We sat at the bar. After ordering we received the wrong appetizer. The bartender who took the order never acknowledged the mistake. Pretty quickly we received the correct appetizer which was cold. In taking a second bite I pulled a 10” long hair from my mouth. A second bartender watched me do this and got a manager. His offer was to get us a round of drinks on him. We told no thanks and left. Terrible food and service. Don’t bother with this place, it’s awful.
I had a great time having dinner here with some girlfriends. We ordered a few appetizers and the bread platter and oysters were both delicious. I ordered the blue crab salad, which was very light and good. I was trying to go for a healthier option, so it's probably not the tastiest thing on the menu. Our service was pretty good and the atmosphere was really nice for a birthday.
Food was delicious, service food, setting truly comfortable and lovely... tuna crudo, salmon, short ribs and duck entrees were all fantastic. The duck roll appetizer was not nearly as special as everything else... desserts - the dark chocolate donut, the red velvet ? Can’t remember the name - but wow! We will definitely be back.
Wonderful date night
My girlfriend and I dine for brunch and we love the food. The booth seating were totally worn and definitely needs replacing but the food was still great.
Perfect spot to grab dinner before a show at AMP, thought the food was pretty expensive ($160 for two including wine), but figure that is part of the convenience. Delicious Duck Egg Rolls, Popovers were good but not great. Cauliflower steak good, salad good. Bronzino good, but a very small portion.
Love the setup of the place. Had a real chill vibe to it. Loved how the bar looked. The food was so good. Had the beef ribs which were amazing. Had the trio of breads which were also amazing. If you like unique combinations of foods this is the place to be for that.
The greet started us out on a bad foot. The server shouted from across the bar, then when I mentioned the reservation, he told me to wait a minute while he grabbed menus then just took off and said to follow. Reservations are pointless there if you ask for any special request, it was my birthday. The manager started us out and when the server came by it felt like we were being rushed. Our meal ended and we asked the manager to snap a picture for us, he then openly made fun of us to another staff member. Try not to make fun of your guests in ear shot next time. Our party was all servers and bartenders, so we get hiccups happening. This wasn’t a hiccup, this was lazy staff and them having no care in the world. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re bored.
Food is great!
It was good.
They have a good brunch menu - the bread basket isn't listed but it's yummy. I loved the al fresco seating!
Food was excellent and the ambiance was lovely - beautiful evening so the doors to outside were open and it was lovely. Peace, ck
Chicken and waffles, chicken was dry and overcooked, waffles were dry too.
fantastic food (as always), fantastic service (Thanks, Elio!), and a lovely place to celebrate our Grandmother’s 93rd birthday!
From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, the service was on point. Food was awesome even tho we could not partake in the recommended starter for the restaurant week, our server hooked us up with another starter that was an awesome choice. I would defiantly recommend this place for any type of occasion. Thank you for your awesome service and food.
The four of us all ordered from the Restaurant Week menu although we had our reservation before we knew it was Restaurant Week. Everything was delicious. The starter was a sampler of shrimp cocktail, a shooter of pea soup, and a potato croquette. Two of us had the short ribs, and the others had the chicken and the scallops. The servings were large and came with nice accompaniments. The dessert was huge: a chocolate-filled donut AND a raspberry Pavlova with ice cream. We ordered the bread tray on the side. Service was excellent. One of the guests knocked over a wine glass, and they were quick to wipe up the spill and replace the linens. We sat away from the bar area in an alcove with maybe 6 tables, so the noise level was low. I would definitely return.
The food is ok but nothing special. The drinks and wine are all way overpriced. You can get a much better dinner elsewhere for the value of what you would spend here. The breadboard, however, is really good and worth it! Everything else is just meh
The food was good but my fiancé found a long hair in his food. Instead of apologizing/discounting our meal, our waitress and the manager joked about how “that’s not part of the recipe”. Very disappointing for the amount we spent there.
We enjoyed our dinner at City Perch Kitchen & Bar. The restaurant is very nice and our sons especially liked the bread appetizer which included 6 different kinds of delicious breads and spreads to go with each one.
The cocktails were tasty and all of the dinners were good. I would go back to City Perch and recommend to friends.
The salmon portion compared to its price was not fair at all. I've been to several luxury restaurants, so far. Non of them provided such a small portion of fish for that price. It was really disappointing and all my guests mentioned that.
The burgers and chickens were really good.
It was my birthday, and we had a cake with ourselves. One of your personnel told us that we are not able to open that cake in your restaurant unless we pay $25. That made us to go to Starbucks by walk under such a rainy weather to eat the cake!
Overall, the food quality was good. However, I don't think I would organize any other gathering in your restaurant.
Perfect for a birthday celebration. Since we had a reservation, they led us to a nice private dining area for our party of 7. Service wasn’t the fastest but they are very friendly as well as very patient while we were indecisive about what to order. Everything we had was delicious albeit on the pricey side. Would come back but just on special occasions. When we left they also made sure that we validated our parking tickets.
When I booked on Open Table, I was notified that I was to receive a “special”, which was a free appetizer and a cookie. The server said that the special was only for people who had been to the movies. I don’t recall anything re going to the movies on the original post.
Benny was an excellent server and made the best latte ever. The branzino was just perfect.
We took friends who just retired and moving from the area to City Perch for their first time. They seemed very pleased with the restaurant...food and ambiance. They indicated they wish they had more time to revisit... We will be back!
This was a birthday celebration and while we were seated early we were sat in a pretty high traffic area; that is of course in lieu of requesting to be seated at a booth with the host. I was told because they had such large parties that we could not be seated there. The booths remained empty the entire dining experience. So we could have been sat per the request elsewhere. Additionally, the drinks came out after our appetizers and even entrees. The server was very nice and apologetic regardless and provided excellent service overall.
Food was great. Waiter was great. So was ambience. Definitely going back.
Their honey-dipped cornbread with goat cheese is to die for! Service was great, food during happy hour and off their normal menu are of good value for the money. Convenient if you are getting a bite to eat during/after a movie at the iPic.
Went for lunch and unless you want a burger don’t go. That’s really all they serve at lunch
Food was great and the service was wonderful. Love it there!
The service is great. The food...it’s all, like, a good idea. But everything is just, blah. My shrimp and grits were so under seasoned, and so was my friend’s short rib. The bread board is the best thing on the menu. I keep coming here because I want it to Be good...it’s always underwhelming.
The food and live jazz on Saturday evening was quite nice. Grown up space!
Nice place but pricey. Food and drinks were very good. The waitress was nice but seemed to be inexperienced (college student maybe). There were long waits between bringing water, taking our order, bringing drinks and bringing food. A dinner for two that should not have taken more than an hour and a half, turned out to be over two hours...and they weren’t that busy.
Great service, great food, great experience. Our server Amanda was fantastic and when we ask to have a thicker piece of salmon cooked a little extra they could not have been more understanding or responsive. Chef came out to deliver it and to ensure our satisfaction. Drinks, dinner and dessert were delicious. Spoke with the Manager before leaving to express our tanks and appreciation. We will definitely be back!
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the brunch meals were! The decor is super cute with a rustic treehouse style. We sat on the 'deck' though it was smaller than I anticipated. Will have to return to see if their dinner menu was as delicious as their brunch menu.
The Brussels sprouts never disappoint. The terrace seating is nice.
Everything was great. We loved our waiter. Except food
