City Fish Market Ratings and Reviews
Sat in the "captain's room" which was dirty with insect nests on the wall and the ceiling leaking rain. Service was excellent, food not so. Broiled fish was floating in 1/4 inch of oil. No grilled fish is offered, so broiled was the only fairly plain option. Let the fish, not the sauce, speak.
Did not address special occasion. When making reservation, I️ was ask if it was a special occasion. Why ask if the restaurant is not going to recognize that yes it was a special occasion? Same thing happened last month and I️ made you aware via the same survey on which I’m answering right now.
Nothing that will stop me from going back because my wife and I️ love the restaurant. Just a little disappointed.
Your billing system is not fair nor correct. I was charged full price for early bird meals on Sundays. I was told i had to tell the server this before hand. Plus they did not use by 15 percent discount card
As good as the food was this turns me off. Five of the six times i have been to city fish marker the bill has been wrong. That is shamefull and inexcusable.
We met at City Fish happy hour 3 years ago, and we thought we'd go back to celebrate. We ordered the Lobster tail, and thought for a 6 oz. serving with a sweet potato or vegetable that it was a ripoff. No salad came with it, and I had mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary when I reserved the table. No dessert. We probably will not go back.
We were meeting our realtor for a celebratory dinner and just picked this place because it was convenient. I wish I had found it years ago! We all ordered something different and it was all amazing. There is a $44 prix fixe menu that included an appetizer an entree and dessert. I had the lobster bisque which was tasty but had no chunks of lobster in it. For my entree I had the pecan crusted rainbow trout and it was the best dish I’ve eaten ever. It was a generous portion with sides that were yummy. Dessert key lime pie. Fantastic The other two meals were equally good and the wine was amazing. This has become my new favorite place! Also Nicole was a wonderful server. She was attentive without being obtrusive. She And the back up team kept us very happy
